This company really puts their time and effort into each project they do. They do beautiful work. Landscape associates really takes the time to work with you on the exact vision you have for your yard or special project.

Landscape Associates designed and put in our landscaping 17 years ago and for the last couple years they have done all our mowing and landscape maintenance. They do an excellent job and best of all they are open to feedback and work with us to make our landscaping beautiful.

Landscape Associates has done a beautiful job with our outdoor areas. They put together a plan /blueprint for our whole lot (almost 2 acres) and then we were able to complete it in phases. Over the last 18 months we have used them for both hardscape (patio, driveway, and fire pit) as well as all of our lawn, trees, bushes, and flowers.

Landscape Assoc. has worked for me for 15 years, ever since I started building my home. I can't imagine working with anybody else. They were an incredible help with both plantings, decking and pond/bridge suggestions initially and they now take care of the weekly maintenance of same. Time takes a toll & Landscape Assoc. has replaced both my bridge & my arbor. My deck railings & steps will soon follow. Luckily there are better materials available now and I no longer feel obligated to follow the restrictive rules that the Homeowners Assoc. once dictated. Any time I decide to make a change or add something to the plantings one of their staff researches my ideas and comes over with pictures and practical alternatives if necessary. I cannot recommend Landscape Assoc. highly enough!

Landscape Associates has done several projects at Green Bay Botanical Garden, helping make the Garden one of the premier public gardens in the country. Their professionalism, design and construction skills combined to help win them and the Garden a prestigious award from the WI Landscape Contractors Association.

Landscape Associates did a great job of landscaping our home to suit our house, lot and neighborhood - and the way we use our yard. They installed a backyard pond that is perfect for the space, adds interest throughout the seasons and can be enjoyed in the yard or from our kitchen windows. The sound of moving water and the splash of color from the annual and perennial plants that surround the pond are a real joy. My favorite touch is the thoughtful job they did of designing a flower bed and stone base for the Little Free Library in our front yard. It makes lovely spot for our whole neighborhood to enjoy, and makes me smile every time I pull into our driveway. Landscape Associates has helped us grow our landscape over the years, installing new features and updating tired areas as our budget allows. Their design staff is very creative, coming up with ideas I might never have considered, like the convenient outdoor cooking area just outside the kitchen. I have always found the workers to be skilled and courteous. They always leave the work area tidy and nice looking before they leave.

We are in the process of a large scale landscape project with Landscape Associates of De Pere Inc. at our new construction home. We have been SO impressed with the whole process from the concept design to the picking of plants and stone to what is now the mid point of implementing the project. Our project includes pavers, trees, shrubs, perennials, lighting, mulch and stone work. John is very knowledgeable, listened to what we had to say as far as input on our needs wants and suggestions and came up with a beautiful plan. When we made changes to the plan, John was quick to respond and draw up the changes we had made and verify that everything was the way we wanted it. He has made handling this daunting task as easy as can be! He contacted and stayed in touch with all the other contractors on his own when needed without asking for our help. This included our builder, the electricians, the sprinkler system people, the excavators, the masons, the stone provider and the lighting people. All handled without us having to do much other than give him the contact names and numbers. He has been there from the beginning, updating us on cost changes to make sure there were no surprises and to confirm changes and costs before proceeding to try to stay within the budget. He has been on site nearly every morning now that they have started even though we live 45 from the business location. We are able to touch bases and review where things are. John has also made it easy to communicate by email and phone, which helps when you are a busy person. The crew has also been amazing, super hard workers from the time they get to the house until the time they leave, even in inclement weather. The site is always kept neat, the supplies are covered, the area is cleaned up and everyday and it is a joy to come home to see the progress being made. We have been amazed how quickly and efficiently they work together. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to anyone and we will surely call them back for any future work. We will update our experience when everything is done and post pictures, we are extremely excited! Thank you Landscape Associates for a job extremely well done!

Landscape Associates provided landscape design and construction for our new home. They did an excellent job. The project included extensive hardscaping work and extensive landscape lighting. The perennial plantings were very well planned out as we always have something in bloom throughout the growing season. They also provide weekly and seasonal maintenance services. These are provided on a scheduled basis by a dedicated crew.

Landscape Associates were awesome to work with on the lighted holiday decorations. Each wreath was inspected so when the lights were out we knew it was the electricity, saving us a ton of time trying to find the problem.

Gryboski Builders Inc. is a custom Home Builder and Remodeling company operating mostly in the higher end of the market. We have been very pleased with Gerry Andrews, John and the the entire crew at Landscape associates. We use them regularly and I know that my clients will have a great experience with them. Job sites are kept clean, run efficiently and finished on schedule...which really separates them from many of their competitors. I wouldn't hesitate to work with them. Landscape Associates of DePere, WI performed poor workmanship, overlooked details in the design plan, handled issues in a rude and impatient manner, and refused to provide an itemized bill for services rendered. A project that should have taken less than a week to complete took over two months. On the first day of planting two young men were sent to our home with the wrong size trees and not enough top soil to meet the requirements of the plan. We had to ask the owner three times before he provided more topsoil. The planting crew did a very poor job of planting the trees, left before watering freshly planted shrubs, and littered the planting beds with plastic bag parts. The centerpiece of the project, three 6-7’ serviceberry trees designed to be a “grove” near our front door, ended up being one 6’ tree, one 10’ tree and one empty hole in the ground. Initially three 10’ trees were brought to our house in June. All three trees had lichen on them and did not appear to be particularly healthy. When we asked for trees the size designated in the plan, Gerry Andrews, the owner of Landscape Associates told us he could not get the 6-7’ size from his supplier and provided no options to rectify the problem. He demonstrated a take it or leave it attitude to us. We reluctantly accepted the trees. In less than a week’s time about half of the leaves on two of the three trees turned brown. After viewing the trees, Mr. Andrews only agreed to repIace one of the sick trees. In an effort to keep the three trees the same size, we requested another 10’ tree. Instead, without communication from the company, a 6’ tree was brought as a replacement (the size he had previously said was unavailable). We then had two 10’ trees and one 6’ tree. Weeks later when Mr. Andrews finally agreed to replace the other sick tree, an 8’ tree was delivered. Again we were not consulted about the change in size so we did not accept the last tree. If we had, we would have had an odd assortment of three different size trees in our “grove”. Finally, since a number of changes were made to our landscape plan during the planting process, we asked for an updated itemized bill. Despite asking for it on four different occasions we have never received it. We believe there may be errors in the bill and we are very frustrated with the lack of transparency in his billing process. Mr. Andrews seemed far more interested in getting paid, than doing a good job.
