I recently did a complete remodel of my one acre home landscape. Sean did a complete landscape plan to remove 60% of my grass and gave us multiple plants that required little water and yet would flower and cover a large area. He had an extremely knowledgable and hard working crew who did the entire remodel including irrigation in 6 weeks. He was on time and on budget. Sean was always available for questions and provided us with instructions for the future care of our landscape. It is 3 months since he finished and everything looks great and our water bill is down.

After interviewing landscapers, my husband and I decided on hiring Van Slyke Landscape, Inc. to design and install the landscape for our newly constructed home in Encinitas. We are very pleased with the results of the project, beginning with the design by Sean Van Slyke to the installation led by Bryan Van Slyke. The beautiful landscape adds depth and dimension to our property. It complements the style and colors of our home. An added bonus was the immediate attraction of hummingbirds & butterflies to the garden. The project is now complete, on time and within budget. Van Slyke Landscape just completed a re-landscaping of our entire yard, front to back. We could not be more pleased with the job and cannot recommend them highly enough. Every facet of the job was very well executed, with much attention to detail, and the result is truly stunning. For us the process was iterative as we worked thru various ideas about the best approach for our particular site. Van Slyke was very patient and helpful, and it was truly a collaborative process to get to the ultimate design for our yard. All of the workers who were part of our job were professional, personable and hard working - it was obvious that they cared about our job and took a great deal of pride in their work. The site was cleaned up at the end of every day which really helped to make things as nice as possible as we went thru the transformation. The people on the admin side of things were also top notch - the scope of work was clearly outlined in the original bid and in change orders as we went along. Van Slyke worked hard to get us the finished product that we wanted at a price that was within our means. Van Slyke would be an excellent hire for any landscaping project - big or small. Their expertise and execution are truly top of the line. I was actually a little sad to see the end of our work approaching as it was such a positive experience working with them!
