SoundWaves is a high-end residential technology firm founded in 2005 by owner Joe DeMarco, a lifelong audiophile with a deep respect for sound quality, system performance, and thoughtful design. Joe remains directly involved in system design and product selection, personally testing solutions before they are specified. We’ve worked closely with Joe and his team for all of our window treatment motorization, and they’ve been fantastic. Joe is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and easy to communicate with. SoundWaves is the BEST ever. Easy to deal with, on time, great work, problems solved with older shade motors - we have large shades covering 11 foot floor to ceiling windows all across the living/dining room of our apartment. Joe came out to re-set the metal shade cover fitted where the shades are completely wound up, and did it without any charge. He arranged with th building superintendent to come in while we are at the shore cottage, and fixed the cover without any charge to us. SoundWaves is just an exceptional company with high quality folks ready and able to help you.

After checking with several companies, it was clear that they were the way to go. Rich Williams and his team were flawless in their installation and delivery of my specific needs. They were able to accommodate my needs at a reasonable price, and I couldn't be happier with the result. The contractor did not deliver as promised and left us hanging dry for our backyard project last July. They did return our money however we were left to find other contractor to finish the job at the 11th hour.

Dear Mr G., We are truly sorry about your experience. Due to huge supply shortages, which were and are still happening all over the world, we notified you that the TV you ordered was backordered and our distributor could unfortunately not give us an ESD. Major shortages and supply chain disruptions have made certain products difficult to get in a timely manner. We also experienced estimated shipping dates that would change day-to-day. At the time, you expressed that us not being able to get the TV was "breaking the contract." You were luckily able to find the TV at a box store, but it was apparently for $500 more than we were selling it. You subsequently demanded a refund for the difference. After discussing your expectations we decided we were not the right custom installation firm for you. We issued you a refund the same day. Small businesses have seen unprecedented challenges in these past 2 years. Fortunately, you are the first client who would not accept that we were doing everything in our power to make your project happen as on time as possible. We wish you the best of luck with your future home projects.

Joe and his team installed three televisions and an electric curtain rod in 2009. Everyone was very respectful of my home, polite and extremely clean. Whenever I had a question, Joe responded immediately. Our experience was so positive, I had him upgrade one of the televisions a couple of years ago.

Hard to find great service in the Av industry. Working with the guys from Soundwaves changed my thinking on that. They show up when they say they will, do great, neat work and stand firmly behind their hardware and software. they monitor my system remotely and fix any problems before AI even know about them. Best group I have ever worked with and recommend them highly.
