T Paul Sek EcoPainting has been working with us on our various projects through the years. We always turn to them to get our projects done that always includes painting, staining and wood renewal done within our time frame, carefully and with precision. They’ve provided color consultation that is invaluable which has helped up create the environments we can be proud of. We love our 'new' house, thanks to T. Paul Sek Ecopainting! Before, it looked gloomy and uneven in its hues. Now, the walls look far lighter across the changing light of day, making the house more livable and attractive. Debbie's color consultation gave us very helpful advice on what colors to choose. We settled on a shade we hadn't initially considered. We also greatly appreciated the care taken by the workers to protect our furniture and move everything back into order. The finish was highly professional and very precise, with no discernible edge bleeds. We also expected to return to a house full of fumes but because they use low VOC paints, we were pleasantly surprised by very little detectable offgassing. We have a cedar-shingled house with a natural stain. A black mold had developed over about 30% of the surface. We were told that our only option was to paint it. Paul and his crew did a miraculous job of restoring our shingles to their natural state. They were on schedule, on budget, and they repainted all the trim as well. The house looks like new.

I've worked with Paul & Debbie on multiple commercial and residential jobs for over ten years. Paul is is is a fantastic down to earth & stoked guy. He's also an excellent painter! Paul was one of the first painters in the area to only use zero VOC paints and he even filters the air when spraying to limit the amount of paint from contaminating the environment keeping us healthy. Paul's pricing is straightforward and fair. He just completed painting the interior and exterior of our house and it looks incredible. Paul even loves dogs, our golden retriever loved hanging out with Paul, he was sad to see him go. Debbie and Paul were a pleasure to work with right from initial point-of-contact to the finished product. They are a well-oiled machine—a duo who work side-by-side with Debbie managing the contracts, dates and attending to the customer’s time and schedule and Paul working his magic to transform a house into something beautiful. Our new home needed some real TLC. We were on an extremely tight schedule and very much wanted the interior of the home to be painted before our interstate moving company rolled in. Paul and his crew worked tirelessly to meet that deadline. Debbie, who will work with the customer as a color consultant, crammed with me through the 11th hour to find the right colors. His easy-going manner and kind nature made him the obvious pick for the job. Debbie’s open and constant communication was a source of great comfort during the stress of a move. She responded promptly to emails and answered my SOS phone calls when we were up against tight deadlines. She is also a wellspring of referrals to other vendors—a real boon for me with so many issues to address in addition to painting. We are eager to have Paul come back to do the exterior. Wow! That is what I can say! Working with Paul and Debbie is amazing. Debbie has an acute ability to help with the design, color and hue. I have completed two exterior painting jobs and one interior painting job with Paul and Debbie in the past 6 months. All 3 projects absolutely upgraded my properties. The most professional and competent contractor I have ever hired! I have owned a home for 35 years and have never had an experience like this one. From the initial meeting/estimate when Paul arrived on time to the final clean up hours - I actually enjoyed having them at my house and was bummed to see them leave. They transformed my log home into a thing of beauty.

Debbie and Paul are an exceptional team. I have found them to be the best at communicating and performing quality work. Paul painted the exterior of one my clients homes in the Pajaro Dunes community. From the beginning I knew he would be the best fit for this project. As a general contractor I need to make sure my clients concerns are met with promptness and honesty. Debbie and Paul were never disturbed with any of my clients concerns and made my job as smooth as it could be. Overall this company is proficient , extremally personable, easy to work with and worth every penny.

Paul is one of very few painters who actually does his own work. You can trust him to do an excellent job. You get what you pay for, high quality work. I am a repeat customer, have had him paint both interior and exterior, and will call him again the next time I have a paint job.

We are big fans of Paul and Debbie (and their son, who also worked on the house - but I will not use his name in case he wants to avoid an online presence)! We purchased a renovated 1920s log cabin in the Santa Cruz Mountains. The old growth redwood logs with their bark still on had unfortunately been painted (and with the wrong kind of paint), and they were degrading. We contacted whoever we could think of to help us figure out what to do to make things look better and maintain the health/stability of the logs. Paul is an incredibly knowledgeable and intellectually curious person who takes his job very seriously. He clearly had more perspective on things than others, so we went with him. He and Debbie communicated very clearly and in a timely fashion. Working with them both was a pleasure. The work was scheduled in a timely fashion and execute on schedule. Paul went above and beyond. We have since had another log specialist come to handle some other unrelated structural issues, and he was impressed with Paul's work. We highly recommend T Paul Sek Eco-Friendly Painting!
