Larry Haan is a craftsman. His attention to detail is remarkable. Our house is old and has multiple quirks in the roof with valleys, skylights, saddles and reverse gables. Haan roofing had the experience and commitment to take the time to address these issues properly. Larry worked with us on timing and budgeting in order to make our roofing project more affordable.

Haan Contracting removed our house’s failing concrete tile roof and replaced it with a plywood deck, underlayment, and aluminum shingle system in 2009 and to date we couldn’t be happier with the job. The fact that Larry takes great pride in his work and encouraged us to go look at his previous projects was a selling point for us and it proved true. Larry worked on our house himself almost every day and he did all of the important detail work himself. Since I work for a large general contractor I usually have difficulty with most residential contractors (like the guys that did our windows and siding) but having Larry work on our house was a real pleasure. He is a true craftsman that doesn’t cut corners and pays close attention to the important details.

Larry Haan did great work on my existing metal roof repairing my Rustic Shingles roof and working with the manufacturer to assist me in having this work covered by my warranty. I liked his work very much and decided to have Larry tuck point my chimney and rework my existing gutters and install gutter screens. Larry describes his work plans in a very professional manner and met all work completion dates that were agreed upon. I would recommend Larry for all roofing work that you may have. I hired Mr. Haan for a quick roof inspection to search for a leak. He was at my residence for 45 mintues with another guy. I received a bill a week later for $310. That's an obnoxious hourly rate which was never disclosed prior to the job. If you are looking for fair pricing this probably isn't the spot.

I hired Haan Contracting after interviewing 9 roofing contractors. He wasn't the cheapest, but I was convinced that he could handle my metal roof project professionally. I was impressed with the care and time he took to take care of the smallest details. My 30-square roof took about 4 weeks, but every detail was finished to perfection. He even applied special siding on my chimneys to make them look better. Larry did much of the work himself, and I was pleased that he gave the project his personal attention. See my attached photos.

Larry Haan re-roofed our house in 2003. He was low keyed and pleasant. He provided us with estimates for alternatives and did not pressure us to decide right away. He had to do a complete tear off of our cedar shake roof. He did his work on time and did a great job of cleaning up any waste and left the yard clean. We selected the metal rustic shingle. The roof looks great and people are amazed when we tell them it is metal. Bernie Madden
