Beach City Stairs

We had a phenomenal experience with Beach City Stairs. (Nov-Dec 2020) The entire team is incredibly professional and made sure all of my questions, concerns, ideas were addressed in a timely manner. They also brought my 20+ year old home up to current safety codes for stairs, which was very important to me with a disabled child in our home. The crews arrived on time, were friendly, didn't wreak of smoke, didn't cuss and were very professional all around. Matt on sales and carpentry. Keaton on demo and finishing. Henrique on carpentry. Charlie and Josh on finishing & stain color matching magic and Steve on finishing. I can't forget awesome Amber working at all hours answering my emails and Mr. Ian the project manager that kept everything running smoothly. Bottom line: I love my new stairs and I HIGHLY recommend the team at Beach City Stairs for your stair remodel needs.

Beach City did a big project for us that included rebuilding a staircase, installing wainscotting, and all new railings. Andy listened to my requests and was extremely knowledgable about his industry and was able to immediately design what I was looking for and communicate it in a way that I could easily understand. We are very pleased with the final product and get compliments all the time from our guests. Would use them again in a heartbeat.

Craftsmanship was outstanding. Alec did an absolutely beautiful job on our railings, posts and banisters and he was always very punctual. Andy was initially good at follow through with showing up when we were planning the project. Then he set up a start date and they didn’t show and we didn’t hear from the company for a week. Left messages/emailed and no timely follow up. This continued to be the case through the whole project. What was supposed to take 3-5 days, turned into 3-4 weeks because no one would get back to us in a timely manner to schedule the next day. Also we were told he would give us a receipt, and that was two weeks ago. Nothing but great things to say about Alec. Very personable and does beautiful work! The rest of the company was just flaky and didn’t seem to really care.

Today Beach City Stairs completed our stair remodel project and we could not be more pleased with the experience and outcome. Tom, our project manager/designer was a great communicator and a huge help making our ideas come to life. He and Keaton protected our furniture and put up sheeting that truly did a great job of minimizing dust, etc. Carpenter, Carlos, was meticulous in all of his woodwork, Josh perfectly matched the stain to our unusual floors! He and Austin worked so hard all day. Today, Joe did an awesome job installing the iron. Beach City Stairs transformed our ugly pony wall stairs into a work of art. Friendly, tidy, creative, hard working and professional. Our sincerest thanks and apologies as we probably forgot to mention someone. We had a standard stairway. White posts and ballisters with an oak rail. It was also not as secure as it should have been. I have hated it since the house was built 13 years ago. We had talked with a contractor that told us they could replace it for us....and use a kit!! That was a concern. After seeing the website for Beach City Stairs we had a consultation with Andy and designed our new staircase. The detail and workmanship by Phil, our installer, far surpassed our expectations! He is an amazing craftsman! Allen and his crew stained the project with exceptional care and the end result is BEAUTIFUL!!

Kevin and his team were amazing. Andy came up with a great timeless design as I was not sure what I wanted. Curtis had to create a custom stair to match the other hardwood raisers and it looks fantastic. They were courteous and kept their work area's clean. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

I wanted to write how much a thoroughly enjoyed working with Kevin at Beach City Stairs! He was polite, kind and very knowledgeable. They did the work quickly and did a great job! There was one day that I got a little aggravated with the construction going on at my home as there were several contractors and Kevin let me get crazy and calmed me down even though the aggravation was not the fault of Beach City Stairs. I received several quotes and theirs was the best! I very highly recommend using them!

Found the stair design we were looking for on Houzz and were VERY pleased with the whole service from Kevin. They did everything on time, perfectly, and within the quoted budged amount - and were extremely pleasant to work with. What more can you ask!!!

I have worked with many contractors with remodeling my homes. I personally enjoyed working with Beach City Stairs for their ideas,suggestions,and helping me lower my costs and building a beautiful piece as you enter my home.
