About nine months ago, Joe overlayed flagstone on our concrete front stoop and sidewalk, in addition to building a low wall surrounding our front porch and did a beautiful job. He was very accommodating to my design preferences and offered good solutions when my ideas were not practical. The 'curb appeal' to our home has improved immensely from his artistic, unique work. He also replaced some spalled bricks on our chimney, so he does it all! I highly recommend him!

Mr. Morgado just finished overlaying flagstone on our concrete front stoop and sidewalk, and did a beautiful job. When I originally called him to get an estimate, he responded promptly, came by the house to look at the job, and promptly provided a written proposal. When we accepted, he gave us an estimated timeframe to start, and started work well within the time he said he would. When he came by the day before starting, to preposition the materials, he had two suggested additional flourishes of stone work to suggest, including an additional step at the front door and curved edges at the driveway end (at no cost above his original proposal), both of which we accepted. We are glad we did, as they really enhanced the attractiveness of the result. He did all of the work himself with one helper and finished the job well within his projection. My wife found Art Masonry at the Houzz website and based on the gallery of his work decided to call Joe. Joe came to our home, spoke with us about what we wanted, made suggestions based on his years of experience, took some measurements and within a few days, as promised, provided us with professional drawings of our project and his proposal. However due to health issues with my mother we were not able take on the project at that time. Fast forward a year and a half later, we contacted Joe and informed him that we were interested in beginning the project and he was kind enough to work us into his schedule. Joe arrived promptly at the time he told us he would start and did so every day until the project was completed. Joe is a soft spoken, kindhearted person that enjoys what he does, and brother does it show in the work that he produces. He has what I think is a rare gift these days and that is, along with being a hard-working professional at his craft, he is very creative and meticulous. He seeks perfection and, in our case, we believe he achieved it. Joe removed our eye sore brick walkway and replaced it with a work of art. He dressed up our bare concrete porch by adding brick and stone matching our new walkway. While working out the layout of the porch, Joe suggested we add lighting and wow what a great look. I addition to the walkway and porch, Joe built a retaining wall on the streetside of our home that is the envy of the neighborhood. I decided to upgrade the hardscaping for my brick front house. Joe did a magnificent job creating a wider brick trimmed flagstone walkway with a landing, added stone and brick to the front porch and stacked stoned walls on each side of the porch. The quality of the work was so beautiful I had him add a 40 ft. stacked stone retaining wall on the side where I had taken down some trees. I love the finished product and have gotten so many compliments on the look. For the quality of the work delivered, Joe's pricing is more than reasonable. He constantly communicated with me, made suggestions and is just a professional artisan. Would recommend him without hesitation.

Mr. Morgado replaced our front steps and walkway with beautiful flagstone. The steps and walkway were original builder grade 36+ years concrete. The steps had openings on the sides from settlement and it wasn't all very pretty. I had no idea what I wanted so I just told Mr. Morgado to do what he thought would look best and he did. My walkway and steps are beautiful. He also suggested a small retaining wall to the right of the walkway which we did and it adds such a nice touch. I would definitely hire Mr. Morgado again. He is extremely hard working and a very nice person as well. I am extremely pleased with his work. He is an artist of stone.

I used Joe to replace my front sidewalk and to upgrade my front porch. Out of the seven houses on my cul de sac, I was the fourth homeowner to use his services. Obviously, I relied on my neighbors' opinions and they were all very satisfied with his work, including one who is very into DIY projects and could build a house for scratch. Rarely does he use contractors for anything so when I saw him using Joe for his sidewalk and porch, I was sold! He showed up on time, finished on time and did a great job! Down the road, if I can come up with the money, I'll call him for additional work - stone walls around my front mulch bed. I don't know how he keeps working outside in the cold weather we've had here but he never complained. You won't go wrong using Joe for your masonry project!

Joe did a brick and flagstone walkway at my townhouse. His work is beautiful and he makes sure he leaves a happy customer.

We had a flagstone walkway put in in 2002. The mortar was crumbling but most of the flagstones were in good shape. We had several quotes and everyone except Joe said we should gut the whole thing, buy all new flagstone, etc. Joe stopped by and said the base was still in good shape, he could reuse most of the flagstone and replace the few pieces that were broken. He not only saved us a lot of money, but when asked gave us great advice about caring for our flagstone. He is meticulous in his work and it is beautiful. I think our walkway looks even better than it did when it was first installed. He also beveled all the edges and it's just stunning. He is honest and a professional. Thank you Joe!

Art Masonry just completed a repair job on a paver patio at my home. They also put in a designer walkway and porch in the front of my home. The work was incredible. I could not be happier with their work. They came when they said they would and worked until the job was completed. We initially didn't plan to have a stone patio since it would be the most costly type comparing to other materials. As we search for contractors, we came across Joe from Nextdoor. Art Masonry Inc. built a us an amazing patio with curved knee walls ending with pillar columns light that created a perfect outdoor oasis. The patio construction style is irregular slate with a custom inlaid compass design that perfectly divides the dinning area from the sitting area that has a custom fireplace, mantel, and hearth. Art Masonry Inc. was very professional and worked with us through every step of the process to ensure we were 100% satisfied.
