Burkett's Pool Plastering

Can’t be happier with the replastering job they did on my 26 year old pool. Absolutely gorgeous and great workmanship in every phase of the remodel. I went with the Wet Stone (Indigo Blue Plaster & Vegas Tile) look. Workers were professional, cordial and efficient. Communication during the project could have been a bit better, but Jaki M. (In office) was a rockstar coordinating the project and keeping me informed. Extremely pleasant and informative.

Let me start off by saying the plastering that Burkett's did was outstanding but the customer service and the treatment that we received when they cut through a light while making a repair was appalling. Chris is great to work with, but avoid Scott and Jeremy at all costs, they both will try to feed you a load of horse manure and obviously they don't know what job they were talking about before talking about it, Jeremy says "It wouldn't matter if light was taken out or not". REALLY because if you had looked at the job you would of seen that the light and pigtail were brand new, had been installed by Burtkett's, and had never been hooked up when your guys saw cut right through the wire because they did not even bother to check the depth of the electrical. Knowing that the pool was installed back in the 1960s and that the piping was more than likely suspect they went ahead and just started saw cutting the concrete without ever checking for buried cables. Now here's where it gets interesting... The J box for the light was right in the path of the saw cut, and by Jeremy's own admission they did know where it was buried, and instead of just pulling the brand new light and pigtail out before saw cutting they chose not to do so because as Scott told me "Older lights don't come out easily due to swelling of the cords over time and conduit movement underground" To which I said "Scott this was not an older light, this was a light that you guys had just installed not 3-4 months ago". HOW MUCH SWELLING AND GROUND MOVEMENT HAPPENS IN 3 MONTHS!!! Now they have cut the cord to the pool light and are saying that it is the customers fault because the conduit shouldn't be buried in the concrete. Isn't that why you should investigate the job before you do the job, Scott and Jeremy, and not the other way around. That way your customers don't have to pay an exorbitant price for a brand new light (twice + the labor) that you guys installed and then cut through it and now it's my fault because why.....Oh Ya I use Burkett's

This company is excellent! I had an amazing remodel done and I couldn't be happier. The crew and office manager Chris provided great service. Everything was completed on time and I was communicated with throughout the entire process.

They remodeled our pool, which came out nice. However, the cement work around the pool is horrible with huge discoloration from one section to the next. See photos attached. Stains are visible. We were told it would take 30 days to cure, there's been no change now after 40 days. Do not let them do your cement work. Communications were difficult throughout and work was late. Project took over 8 weeks.

One more step with a full remodel and a 5 star rating. From the beginning Burkett's staff has been so easy to work with and very responsive to any questions. Started the first phase almost 30 days before the expected start date. Every crew who worked on a phase of the remodel were hard working and very cognizance of causing any property damage and fully cleaning up after each project. The foreman of these crews stayed on top of each project. The Project Manager is very knowledgeable and easy to speak with. Crews were at my home around 7 a.m. each scheduled date. I have not had a crew show up late or leave me dissatisfied in anyway. Whitney at the main office has gone out of her way to help up with any questions we had. Easy to get a hold of and she has always given us early heads up as to a scheduled project. So, up to this point we are very satisfied with Burkett's and their entire staff.

We selected Burkett's to redo the plaster on our 20 year old pool. Good communication throughout the whole process. Workers on site were nice and didn't leave trash or anything around the pool during remodeling which is nice.

Burkett's is amazing! They originally did our gunite, plaster, and concrete. They were the most professional company I dealt with during the whole ordeal. Let's just say I had some nightmare experiences in the past! However, Burkett's came in and completely changed my opinion on construction and made the whole process go as smoothly as possible. I recommended them to my parent's and a few friends. If you're looking to remodel your pool, give these guys a call!

Burkett's was hired originally to do several phases of our pool that included plumbing, gunite, tile, decking and plaster. We have been very pleased with our completed project and have been enjoying our pool for many years. The most recent work that we have had done by them was the installation of our multi speed pump that has significantly reduced our electricity bill not to mention we were able to receive a $100.00 rebate from our electricity provider. The installation was handled quickly and professionally and we continue to be very happy with Burkett's.
