Chameleon Pools & Concrete

We had a great experience with the team at Chameleon Pools. We started with a call to them asking to talk about having a pool put in our back yard. Bob came over and we discussed what we were looking for, what options would work for us and the best location in our yard. He was very helpful and explained the process from conception to completion... We talked with several companies about our pool plan and the two things that steered us to Chameleon were 1) Bobs open and conversational presentation, it was as if we were just two friends having a conversation, not a sales pitch; 3) that they did their own concrete work so we wouldn’t have to coordinate with other contractors for what we wanted; and 3) Bob was the only one who asked us about drainage for the deck areas… I asked the others about drainage plans and they didn’t really answer me. After the meeting with Bob we received a concept rendering in a few days, we asked some questions & made some tweaks to it and once the design was agreed to, we got an estimate of cost and we signed the contract and put down the down payment and we were on our way! They even helped us with financing through Key Bank... and it was easy! The construction phase was just what they explained to us... they gave us a project schedule/sequence so we knew what to expect. Dates changed, as we had to wait due to very wet weather conditions... but once started the process came off very well. We included additional concrete deck, fence and finish landscaping in the estimate so we could finance it to. That work was done seamlessly as they do all their own concrete work so no having to juggle contractors; And they have fencing and landscape companies that they work with to complete the process... they coordinated the work with these two so that it was timed with the completion of our pool. The one thing we would recommend to anyone looking into doing this is to ask questions and know what is going to happen... communicate so you don't feel out of the loop. They are more than happy to answer your questions and address any concerns. Don't wait to ask... do it early so if there is an issue it can be addressed upfront and won’t be a misunderstanding during the construction. One thing you should know... is that you should be prepared for the jump in your electric bill as the pump and heater use as much as running your AC all day. But with a pool you don't use the AC as much… ;-). We had solar panels put on the house to accommodate the additional electric use in the summer so we had prepared for it. We really enjoyed the crews and the work they do. They are obviously proud of the company and their work! We LOVE it... and use it every day.

Chameleon transformed our backyard into a resort. They were willing to build exactly what we envisioned and exceeded our expectations. There is no limit to what Bob and his team and design and build.
