Land Of ELITE

I began working with David Katz on my pool project this spring. From our first meeting, I was excited about my new pool. David is very creative, but he also listened to what I wanted. His concept took into consideration my house and my yard. I wanted something natural - like it had always been there. The end product was a pool and landscaping that exceeded my expectations. There were some challenges along the way. David was very engaged - responding to texts and emails promptly. He assured me that my project would get done and I would be satisfied. That couldn't be more true. I have been so pleased with my experience that I will do another project with Land of Elite in the spring!

Our entire experience of working with Elite has been smooth, transparent, and extremely communicative. We contracted Elite to build a pool, including landscaping, in a slope that required a town variance due to its proximity to marshland. From the very first phone call, David Katz was clear in creating a project plan and keeping us updated on every step. Brad, the project manager, was responsive to every text and email, and we were impressed by their speed, and by how thoroughly they took care of everything. (They handled getting town permits, inspections, everything!) Elite was more expensive than some other contractors we spoke with, but I believe you get what you pay for: they are the utmost professionals, and quick! From breaking ground to actually swimming in the pool took 6 - 7 months. And of course, the final result: we are ecstatic with the pool. It's beautiful, and looks like it was always meant to be there. Everything looks gorgeous - the landscaping, lighting, the materials chosen for the pool surround, and the pool itself. We're thrilled with how it turned out and would enthusiastically recommend Elite!

We started on a journey of building a weekend home (pre pandemic) with two babies and were thrust into the chaos of pandemic and moving from the city. Having never built a home, it was overwhelming to say the least. We found in ELITE/ NEAVE, David Katz (and all members of the team) an honest, dedicated group of professionals that did all they could to deliver what turned out to be A RESORT!! That’s what our guest call it and that’s how we feel. You can be sure there was some crazy aspects, delays, product challenges and like any major undertaking- a lot of concern and trepidation. The ELITE/NEAVE teams project Manager Brad and all who worked on our project were clearly dedicated to doing professional level work. Truth be told, we had many hesitations when it came to selections, designs and final result. Its hard to know what the result would be and while we wanted to trust David, it wasn’t easy given our own perspectives. In the end, we could not have hoped for a better result and only one year in, the transformation (pool, patios, plantings, experiences) are flourishing and providing our young family and visitors something that literally an every day vacation at our own home!! The ELITE / NEAVE team handles questions, follow up, commitment, adjustments, etc as well as one could hope. Without hesitation we offer a resounding recommendation!! After completing a large remodel, the majority of our property was left in literal dust. We felt overwhelmed thinking about repairing a torn up driveway, sprinkler system, fence, and yard. As soon as David Katz stepped onto our property, he had an immediate plan and vision. His plan was more than we thought would be possible for our property, we went from dull landscaping to very apparent, professionally designed landscaping. The rest of his very professional team facilitated a pristine installation of a driveway, new sprinklers, custom fire pit with patio, over 100 plantings, pruning and plush sod. The group of landscapers that were here daily, for weeks, we extremely respectful and professional. We also ran into a town watering restriction due to drought. David and team coordinated huge water tanks be delivered so that we could make sure our new plantings could be watered properly. Land of Elite and Neave are a no worry, complete full service landscape and design service.

I first reached out to Land of Elite to inquire about their property maintenance services. Through that inquiry, however, I ended up talking with David Katz about landscaping for our newly purchased half acre property. The yard has great potential, but has been left to grow somewhat wild. I was very favorably surprised by the time that David put into the complementary consultation. He visited our house twice and shared a significant number of ideas and thoughts for general flow, feel, and even types of plants. While we are still deciding on the scope of the project we want to do, we are very happy with the consultation and will certainly be reaching back out to Land of Elite if we decide to move forward with a full-scale project.

David came out to do a consultation on our property and he truly is a visionary (which is obvious in his work)! He immediately pointed out where things should go and gave us pointers on the flow of our property. He was so much fun to talk to and very knowledgeable. I would absolutely use him for your landscaping needs!

We have worked with Elite Landscapes since we built our house 27 years ago. At that time we hired David Katz, the owner and design expert to do landscaping, patios, sidewalks, plantings, trees, and everything that one would need to create a beautiful setting for a great new house. His design and creativity were beyond our expectations. We found him to be honest, creative and extremely hardworking and dependable. Our relationship with David Katz and Land of Elite has continued over the years. From doing more design landscaping, extensive lighting and creative sidewalks ,to selecting beautiful flowers ,building a trex deck and stone patio in our backyard to building our family an award wining gunite pool. We have had many family celebrations on our property that he designed and created. We recently had the pleasure of working with him and his son and team. I called and spoke to him in the morning and he was at our home that afternoon. Under his direction we completed another extensive project. I highly recommend Land Of Elite and hope that we will have the pleasure to work with them again! Their work is absolutely beyond expectations !

Our experience with Land of Elite has been nothing short of spectacular. From our first meeting with David and throughout the design, permitting, construction and landscaping phases, he and his wonderful team have been beyond exemplary in every way. Our unique property presented a number of challenges, and after lengthy discussions with other designers, no one came close to the inspired use of space and imaginative design that David conceived. He looked beyond our original vision and came up with a plan that incorporated many more aspects of our unique property into a more cohesive and fluid design. The pool and patios now feel like outdoor rooms that fit with the architecture of our home. We are especially grateful for the talented and hardworking team members, who arrived like clockwork and were unfailingly courteous and pleasant. What was once a dream made up of ideas and pixels is now a beautiful reality. We wake up every morning and never want to leave our beautiful oasis!

Met with David in July, very informative and relaxed. We came away with a better understanding of the possibilities for our project. While we have not made up our minds of how to proceed, the information will be very helpful.

David is amazing to work with! From our very first meeting to a few years after the project was completed, he has always been very responsive to any questions or concerns. He has a unique creative gift for being able to envision the potential of our backyard space and transform it into our backyard paradise. He listened to our needs and incorporated them into his design. The scope of the project involved creating a waterfront deck with stone firepit, a meandering walkway to a beautiful wooden Japanese style bridge (which he built) to a small island with a sitting area. He added a Zen garden and a shade garden, all which are watered by a sprinkler system that recirculates water from our pond. The lighting is just beautiful. Subtle uplighting and pathway lights allow us to enjoy the backyard in the evening. He even installed a large spotlight for winter nights when the pond freezes and becomes an ice skating rink. He really thought of everything! Highly recommend!

David and his team are great: very creative, practical, very easy to work with and a great crew. Great timely execution. We're very happy with our first project with them and have scheduled a second, larger project for later this year. We recommend them without reservation.
