I recently had the pleasure of working with Mark and his crew on a big project. I was absolutely blown away by their level of skill and professionalism. Mark went above and beyond several times to assist me in problem solving and re-selecting, when tile was out of stock due to covid. I could not be happier with how beautiful the install turned out in each space. The Tarkus Tile crew are all extremely skilled craftsmen, and are all so pleasant to work with. They meticulously executed the details of my designs, with no complaints at all, which is so refreshing as a designer. I look forward to working with them on many more future projects, including my own home. They truly are the best of the best!

Mark, owner of Tarkus Tile, recently completed a tile floor in my entry and laundry area. His attention to detail was obvious as he worked and in the finished project. The hexagonal tile and the pattern are just gorgeous! If you have to wait a bit to get on this guy’s schedule, it is totally worth it! He is a busy guy because he is a true artisan of his trade. He is pleasant and professional , as well!

I was in desperate circumstances in late January ‘19 b/c of faulty construction of 3 showers in my 2 story town home in Park City, UT. Mark Christensen of Tarkus Tile was the 4th person to look at my problem. Two people said they could not handle a job like that.. The third person said he could do it but could not get to my job for several months. I believe he did not want to do it when he saw how hard it would be. Mark C looked at it and said he could start anytime. I asked him what he would do. He said it was basically a waterproofing problem in all 3 showers and would require complete demolition to find and repair all the moisture damage and then total reconstruction of each shower. If he did that then he would guarantee his work for life. I said that is going to be a tough job. He said he likes a challenge. I asked how many people it would require. He said he wouldn’t need anybody else. He has been running a tile company in SLC for over 20 years and handles this kind of problem all the time. My showers are finished now and they are beautiful. They are better now than when they were new. Mark C did a masterful job; he is a tile-artist. When he was finished, there was no trace of a problem or all the work that had been done. His attention to detail was amazing. He exceeded all my expectations in every way. Also, he was delightful to work with throughout. I would give him the highest recommendation for any job he says he can do.

You can't go wrong with Tarkus tile. If you are looking for the best, you can stop looking. His attention to detail and quality of work is amazing. I am very picky with who I recommend to others and I recommend Tarkus to my close friends and family.

We have worked with Mark Christensen twice, on two separate areas of our home. He created a gorgeous tile backsplash in our kitchen and did all of the tile work in our bathroom, including a new shower. His tile work is top-notch and he is an absolute pleasure to collaborate with on designs. We plan on contacting him to do our upstairs bathroom when the time comes and to add a backsplash to our downstairs bathroom. I've also recommended him to my mother for an upcoming project in her home.

Tarkus did a lime stone shower, with a hidden drain, and bathroom floor for us. It was an intricate pattern that continued from the bathroom floor into the shower, with no dam, and a wainscot in the toilet room. Tarkus was meticulous and the product was flawless and beautiful. The work was performed on schedule and on budget. We were very pleased and would recommend Tarkus to others.

Tarkus tile is reasonably priced with unmatched quality. The work site was kept clean and organized. They took the extra time to provide creative ideas and solutions to match the new project with the existing decor. It turned out perfect. I would hire Tarkus tile again in a second.
