In my search for a window treatment for a door wall I went to the Sheer Shop located on 23 mile and spoke with a designer named Sira. After she listened to my concerns and goal to find a quality window treatment she directed me to a Hunter Douglas Vertiglide. I had experience and knowledge of a similar product by Levelor and I could see that what I was being shown was of higher quality and made better. Sira stated she had the same one in her home for a number of yrs and had no problem with the constant use it had seen. I decided to bit the bullet for the extra cost and had it installed. The installer was very professional, knowledgable and did a fantastic job. I hope to have years of use without any problems for this Hunter Douglas product and would recommend anyone looking for window treatments for their home or business to visit The Sheer Shop and see Sira for her expertise.

I have used The Sheer Shop for many projects over the years. The workmanship is always beautiful. This year I replaced my Silhouettes. I worked with Sira to come up with the best way to handle my large windows with multiple pains and I am very happy with the result. They also made unique valances and a custom large pillow to match the valances. Always a quality job.

I have used the Sheer Shop for many years and have always been extremely satisfied. Over the years they have been helpful if I needed replacement parts, or in one case a repair job on one of my blinds. Recently I purchased Hunter Douglas Luminettes for a rather large bedroom window. The in store designer was very helpful in assisting me to find the right room darkening product. The designer who came out to measure was professional and did an accurate measure. The installer was personable and did a very good job on the installation. The overall experience was a wonderful one and I am extremely satisfied with the end result.

We have worked with the Sheer Shop in three residences (more than 35 years). We wouldn’t think of getting window treatments from anyone else. Over the years we have had draperies, Roman shades, luminettes, solar shades and shutters made. We have also had custom bedspreads and pillows made. I’m in love with my new window cover for my extremely sunny door wall! I’ve had a terrible time, controlling the west facing door wall in my home with extreme amounts of sun heating up my house. I had The Sheer Shop, come out and give me an estimate for a window treatment that would be beautiful, and not a pain like vertical blinds that always break and cut out most of the light when you have to close them, and Kendra, who was so professional and friendly, suggested the Hunter Douglas Lumenette Sheer Vanes. They look like sheer fabric with rotating privacy panels inside, that can be opened or closed at different angles to control all the light. The Lumenette Sheers still allow light to come in when closed, which vertical blinds don’t allow that very much. I can move the privacy panels, depending on the angle of the sun. They look like draperies instead of blinds! They removed my old vertical blinds and installed my beautiful new sheer blinds in less than an hour, and instructed me on how to operate the remote control because I bought the remote control add-on. I love it! I highly recommend Sheer Shop. They are the best!

We just had a new home built so we needed blinds throughout. We knew that we wanted Hunter Douglas top down bottom up blinds. I had 2 quotes, the first one did not work out so well. Then Sira came from the Sheer Shop. She really knew her product and was great to work with for suggestions. She didn't try to "up sale" us but got us exactly what we needed in an upgraded blinds for the whole house. She was just great! Had Hunter Douglas Duette top down-bottom up shades installed. My designer was Linda and she was prompt and very professional with my appointment. She explained how they operate which I didn't know and had an example to show too! Ordering was very fast and installation was fast too! Highly recommend them and the price I felt was reasonable for the fine quality.

I replaced the blind's in my bathroom, great room and set of three sheer curtain's on my door wall. They are beautiful. Hunter Douglas is a little expensive but I believe you get what you pay for. All of the previous blind's were Hunter Douglas but after 20 years they were starting to look a little dingy and faded. Sara was very helpful assisting me make the right choice's. Ryan the installer did a great job with the install. I am very pleased with my purchase and would highly recomend The Sheer Shop.

They came out to measure, showed me several types of options, styles and colors, and I've been to their showroom to view a wide selection of choices that were available to suit my tastes and needs. They were very knowledgeable and prompt in every facet of the process. Even when there was something we weren't exactly sure was going to work in our place, they came through and made it right, that's what you want out of company you are dealing with! The Sheer Shop recently arranged for warranty replacement of a Hunter Douglas Silhouette blind that had failed. The effort of their representative, Sira Nauam, was exceptional, especially in light of the fact that the blind was purchased in 2003 from another dealer. Her knowledge of the product, the professional manner she exhibited in dealing with the manufacturer, and the customer care "follow through" she afforded me were all outstanding. I highly recommend the company.
