End Grain Woodworks was selected amongst 3 other companies to custom-design and build a wine cellar. Kieran, the owner, came for a site visit on a late evening to accommodate our schedule. He was given very specific instructions and a few pictures of exactly what we were looking for. He took some measurements and started the design process. A couple of weeks later, we were invited to his workshop to review the progress. The installation took place within a month. The final project exceeded our expectations. He demonstrates great integrity, provides excellent customer service and his craftsmanship is remarkable. Kieran is very professional, accommodating and a pleasure all around to work with. We highly recommend Kieran to design and build your carpentry work. His pricing is competitive and he will complete the project in a timely manner as promised. We are fortunate to have had the pleasure to meet him. We would not hesitate to hire him in the future for other projects.

We had significant water damage to our siding, garage trim, window frames, and a door. This was an ongoing issue; three other contractors had replaced the rotting wood and then repainted the new boards but the problem persisted. Kieran was the fourth professional we consulted, and he's the only one who solved the problem. It's been nearly two years since Kieran completed his work - he replaced the entire north face of our home - and it remains dry to this day. Important to note: the north side includes an enormous Marvin bay window and we were concerned that the years of wet framing would compromise it. Kieran's solution was thoughtful, thorough, and saved us a tremendous amount of money.

The End Grain Woodworks team, led by Kieran Maccauley, are impeccable professionals. They have framed rooms, mounted windows and doors, and provided molding and trim work for our sunroom. They also designed and installed our main staircase. Their work is well thought out, done in a timely fashion, and with excellence. We love to look at their work everyday in our home.

I am a home owner in Wilton, CT. Kieran McCauley has done a few projects for us over the last few years, including: a new banister for a staircase, a new fireplace mantle and a new entertainment built-in for our family room. His work is very good and his attention to detail is outstanding.

Kieran, the proprietor of End Grain, is a true craftsman that takes immense pride in his work. I am lucky that he did most of the trim in my home (as well as some very nice millwork) and highly recommend his work. I particularly appreciate his attention to detail and knowledge of how to create an end product that will last and continue to look great for years. He also is a pleasure to work with.
