You have a wonderful selection of ideas here - my suggestion - remove the placemats - thay can date the look of a table - place a runner in ivory down the middle. Set the table with silver and then rest a bottle of wine in the bowl - simple. Show off your beautiful table. Add some bling - napkinrings!

Whitewash is leaving some of the base color of the plaques, adding white paint mixture and gently skimming off 'some' of the paint. Leaving more paint in the deep parts of the design, The raised parts will be the metal color. A weathered shabby chic finish. Lightly sand them. Mix 1/2 glaze and 1/2 white paint. One at a time. Brush mixture on. Let it stand about 2 minutes. Wipe with a lightly damp cloth 'very gently' over the entire piece. Just skimming the raised surfaces that will remove some of the paint.

I will rewrite again. There are two bathrooms on the 2nd floor - one with white bathtub and one which is just a walk-in shower. I have to make a choice in selecting the shower tile and sink countertop for each of the two bathrooms. The choice is cream and white. The master bath is also on the same floor and is cream (cream marfil marble) for tile and countertop. I have no choice there. I like it very much. The choices for these other bathrooms are cream(but not crema marfil) and white. The cream is a bit darker than crema marfil and also has darker streaks. So, focusing on one bathroom, I have attached the picture with bathroom with bathtub for now. Bathroom #1: Has White Bathtub: I need to decide here. Two choices: Cream tile or white. The first two pictures show the cream choice - cream shower tile and cream countertop. The last two pictures show white shower tile with white bathtub and white countertop (the backsplash for countertop is going to be plain, and not tile as shown in the picture). Please let me know if it is still confusing.

Thanks! I do love that idea - so much so that I already have glass jars in another location in the space, so unfortunately, that would be too much. Also, I wanted to have a single item or, in the case of a bowl with globes or shells, they'd all move as a single item and be easy to move out of the way. A collection is more difficult to move out of the way in a relatively small kitchen.
