Hard to say. Some purplish coloration in foliage is normal in some varieties during winter. I saw some white or gray areas that might be powdery mildew (never water the leaves, water only the soil)... or maybe it is residue from alkaline water... hard to say from the pictures.... There are some leaf eating pests, probably weevils or leaf cutting bees. I would not worry about old azalea leaves as they will soon be replaced. But if you have powdery mildew, I would pick up leaf debris and throw it in the trash -not the compost pile- until the PM problem is corrected.

I don't see any problem with the azalea other than some insect damage. And I don't know of any disease azaleas and fuchsias share other than possibly powdery mildew and I see no indication of that either (although the two plants will have different strains of PM so not really the same issue).
