My general rule of thumb is knobs on doors, pulls on drawers.... it has nothing to do with bases, perimeters, etc. Some people like pulls on both doors and drawers. Do what you like.

Thank you megs, that is what I was thinking.....do you have any thoughts on the differing placement of pulls on the drawers in the pics above ? Is there a rule of thumb? Centered on the drawer or at the top perimeter?

Most of mine are centered on the drawer front, meaning middle of the front both vertically and horizontally. I would have preferred that in the first pic. I do have some low drawers like that first one and all of mine are centered the way I'm saying. The only place I have a pull that is not centered that way is my DW panel. I hope that makes sense.
