Fuchsia seed pods (berries) do you remove or leave on plant?

My fuchsias have berries along with the blossoms. I have been removing them but wanted to know what other fuchsia lovers do. The majellicas are way too big to try to take them off, but the uprights and trailers - in pots - are smaller and not too much trouble to clean up. All plants are still blooming and beautiful.

For maximum flower production, remove the berries, if you can be bothered. They are edible, btw.

I only grow the hardy fuchsias/magellanicas and I can't be bothered to remove the berries. Plants are too big, removing berries is too fiddly and it doesn't seem to slow down flower production at all. These guys will continue to flower until really cold weather sets them back.......around here that would be December or later.

You can make wine or jam with the berries if so inclined :-)
