I live in Alabama in zone 8a. I am looking for advice on what to plant on the side of the fence. Previously, there were 3 trees there, but unfortunately I lost multiple trees from strong winds about 2 years ago. I have 2 dogs, so it would need to be safe for them. Thank you.
