I slice the cloves and then dehydrate at 135 degrees for about 30-36 hours. I store the dried chips in a mason jar in the freezer and grind some with a coffee grinder 2 or 3 times a year.

Like Jack, I slice mine, but I do it quickly by peeling it all then tossing handfuls into the food processor with the slicing blade. It makes a thin slice then I spread it on the dehydrator trays. Like Jack, I use 135F and I dry them for at least 24 hours, then put them in jars. When I want garlic I can use the slices or throw some in the mortor and pestle and make it as fine or coarse as I like.
