The greater the contrast in colour with your brick, the more the garage door will become the dominating feature of the whole facade of your home.

That’s due to its shear size and because eyes are drawn to areas of contrast first.

If you need to repaint, I would pull a colour directly from the brick surround.

That way it allows your front door to be the key focal point, as it should be. 🌿

Lovely house! I would splurge on a pretty garage door that either blends with the brick or coordinates with the front entry.

Garage doors are a design feature when they figure prominently on the front of the house.

I don’t want people looking at my garage doors - I want them looking at my pretty house and front door instead. My garage doors are just plain, functional doors, so I would paint them to blend in.

Now, if I had fancy luxury garage doors, that would be a different story.
