white on white on white?? why? you don't like color?
here's the triple white. the only thing that keeps this from looking like an OR is the addition of the lime green accents.
How about a slew of pics to get you thinking?
You have a beautiful space, (and I'd do something w/that coffered ceiling!!) doing your kitchen in all white would be a waste of opportunity.
Move your microwave to a built in somewhere (c my kitchen further down for how I did it)
bring in new pendant lighting. something a bit more decorative.
This is a similar kitchen layout, minus the kitchen sink area. what if you did the island in a darker color? I see you have the green chairs, what about an olive island? you could keep your wood
on the perimeter, and do something like Sea Pearl Quartzite for your counterot. here's what it looks like:
using sea pearl, (or even this Cambria quartz in the picture) here's a mood board I had saved.
You could do a total two-tone w/your cabs, or leave the perimeter (or leave the island) wood, and paint the others in the bronze-green. bring in natural textures/wood, new pendants, hardware.
Rather have something lighter? here ya go
or, do all of the cabs in this color. you could also do some glass in a few of the uppers, get a custom range hood (move your micro) and do this Calacatta Laza quartz just how it's shown
Here's another combo. And I like this one. You can leave your wood cabs as is (just add new hardware), but paint the island a darker shade like this thunderous satin (I did Wrought Iron on mine, and it's similar). add in the gold/ black hardware, new pendant lights, and these natural material and wood counter chairs.
Instead of plain white quartz, do something like TajMajal or Perla Venata (similar to taj but creamier) for the counterrtops:
You could always paint the perimeter cabs in the white if you like.
see about getting your cabs deep cleaned, and maybe they could tone the wood a richer color like shown here. do this ribbed glass in a few of your upper doors, farmhouse sink, gold accents
The taj, Perla or the sea pearl would all look great w/this style. (This is from Brepurposed. you can look up her kitchen remodel. )
BTW, this is Taj majal w/a zellige tile backsplash, plaster vent hood, and glass in the uppers like I mentioned. (many styles of glass you could do)
A lot of people are advising you to keep the wood, but update everything else. This is one option to that.
If you did a custom vent hood, you'd get this look with white cabinets.
(this is the Perla Venata quartzite)
I'd still do the contrast w/the island though. and I'd bring in the darker color in your coffered ceiling. You have the charcoal color in your sofa, right?
how about a two tone? Updated hardware, a must. glass in one of the uppers, move the microwave and do a small vent hood like shown here.
I'd see about having the wood on your cabs refresed. maybe a toner, or a warmer gel stain could be used.
Painting all of your cabs will be in the 8K range, maybe more IF you want it done correctly.
doing a stain refresh could be a bit cheaper.
another idea if you want to leave the wood as is on the perimeter. this dark navy looks beautiful w/gold and the wood tones. simple vent hood, a few shelves, griege backsplash tile.
if you really want plain white quartz, and a white tile splash (do this size tile w/the artisan look to it) then bring in some color/contrast w/the dark blue and gold.
This would look great if you kept your island as wood, and just painted the perimeter cabs. And your floors compliment any of these darker colors I've posted.
If you want white cabs, then please, no white tile. This glazed charcoal color brick paired w/more modern gold hardware and the natural walnut shelves is gorgeous. do the island w/that thunder color
this countertop is Cambria Brittanica
maybe you like a blue gray island color w/the wood perimeter? give you an idea of what it would look like (substitute this light blue for that navy above)
New countertops, new hardware, new lighting, (I don't like these smaller white tiles. we can something better for you. decide on your color first)
I used to have your kitchen. 14 yrs. custom solid oak cabs were in nice shape, but the finish was flaking.
I opted to reface my doors/drawers, paint, do away w/the ornate trim, the dark/heavy slate/backsplash, put in shelves in the island, move the micro (beneath the wall oven) , and some other things.
I also have a large pantry area to the left, as well as a black/white/walnut coffee bar.
to keep it from looking too sterile (which is exactly what your triple white would do), I have a black sofa and many walnut accesorie items, along w/colorful art.
I'd kill for your coffered ceilings!
If you still want to paint, what about white/black? You could do a marble-look quartz and nickel hardware/pendants
I know these are a lot of ideas, diff pictures, but this is why you need to have a vision of what you want. merely picking white on white because you 'don't know how', is poor excuse !
