We live in a rainy area, so we keep extra umbrellas by the door, for guests or for when we misplace our own. Always a hit!

Thank you so much for the helpful suggestions. I thought I was pretty good at being on the ready but after reading your info it made me aware of a few things I had missed. I completely forgot about the blinds, I love the natural sunlight of the morning to wake up to but, I forgot that we are not all alike, oooopeees...........
