I am sorry for your loss. I was really complaining about the contributors who rarely if ever check these questions...

Wow, such attitude. I'm just thankful that people post lovely pictures on houzz. When they answer my questions, great. When they don't, fine as well. One needs to recognize that these architects / designers / photographers who post pics have regular jobs. Sitting around forums answering random strangers' questions is probably NOT their priority in life. (Kim, sorry for your loss).

Hi Vicky , all natural no wallpaper , this house cuts in to the side of large hill , the hill is now landscaped with sandstone since these images where taken. The has been a wallpaper Mural made from the kitchen photograph for use in a commercial setting.

        14. Mural magic. Wallpaper is always a commitment, but hiring a wallpaper company to fabricate a custom mural from a cherished photograph, like this landscape of the home’s hilly site, is an unexpected and modern way to take a leap of faith in creative kitchen design.

        7. The outdoor kitchen. This creative outdoor experience literally extends the inside to the outside, mimicking the white and stainless steel materials found in the kitchen within to create an outside room that would be welcome in any home. With the back wall of the house open to the outside, the two kitchens appear as one. The durable stone countertops of the internal kitchen are used outside and the traditional stainless steel oven and cooktop appliances are replicated with outdoor appliances in the form of a barbecue and side burners. Even the cabinetry of the outdoor kitchen takes its design cue from the kitchen cabinets within. What makes this outdoor kitchen-dining area work so well is the integration of all the design components that work well together. The proportions and site lines are carried through from inside to outside and appear seamless.

Or how about incorporating a fully decked-out kitchen with built-in barbecue, sink and wine fridge? Your countertop could continue out from an indoor island or along a shared wall.
