You will see hand carved Ebony inlays on the newel post of the wood stairways. There is a hand carved piece above the fireplace that was done on site out of one piece of mesquite wood. The wood work paneling on the walls in the great hall was all done using natural maple, cut and set in place by two genuine New England carpenters. So, it took two years to build but it was a constant bee hive of activity and creativity.
