    Yes, exactly. It's cast over plywood for rigidity and easy assembly; and finished with food safe wax - though I can't remember exactly what kind anymore.

        I like the open shelves and that underneath is the kitchen rack holding the spatulas and such.

        this hue of blue with the light and dark tan-yellow is nice. maybe window shades could be this color
