This is beautiful. I would love to see the top of the windows -- Interested to see how the sheer curtains hide the roller shade.

The house is over an hours drive away and I would have to go there with a fan deck to do that. It is a very complex color with the glazing technique.

Thanks for noticing! The rug is a "one of a kind" found at Togar Rugs, here in Asheville. I'm sure they do not have another one, but you can google them and find a cool web site with many rugs. The first thing to know when searching for a rug is to know the size you are looking for. Good luck. All the best, Kathryn

Yes, these are adjoining spaces.....master suite of a home at Lake Toxaway in the mountains of Western North Carolina. The views from both rooms of the lake are lovely!

The Roman shades were custom made from a Duralee fabric, handwoven in India. That exact fabric is discontinued, but Duralee has similar in their collection. Duralee fabrics are "to the trade" only, so contact an interior designer in your area.

Or go for a decorative paint finish that mimics patinated metal or other materials. This is about as far from a cookie cutter, builder’s-grade bathroom as you can get, and that bathtub is fantastic. Tell us: Have you painted the exterior of an old or new tub?
