What kind of art works on a big wall? There is power in numbers - a group of landscape artworks featuring tress hung salon style packs a graphic punch and brings nature to the mix. While the bathroom portion of this project has received press and accolades, the other aspects of this renovation are just as spectacular. Unique and colorful elements reside throughout this home, along with stark paint contrasts and patterns galore.

This inviting sitting room features a dramatic vaulted ceiling with exposed wood beams, creating warmth and architectural character. A deep navy paneled fireplace wall with built-in shelving serves as the striking focal point, complemented by a natural wood mantel and light stone surround. Four comfortable upholstered chairs arranged around a round coffee table create an intimate and conversational seating area. Large windows, warm hardwood floors, and a soft blue patterned rug keep the space feeling bright, elegant, and welcoming.

This is a great small space that needed a total refresh. The project included fresh paint and lighting, new rugs, furniture, art and accessories. The dramatic change in the look of the space truly is from correct paint colors, lighting and furniture. The client was so happy!!!

Another excellent example of mixing the old and new. A treasured family piecrust table sits comfortably under modern collages and a contemporary lamp. Collectibles from the couples travels make interesting and personal accessories.

This modern renovation creates a focal point for a cool and modern living room with a linear fireplace surrounded by a wall of wood grain granite. The TV nook is recessed for safety and to create a flush plane for the stone and television. The firebox is enhanced with black enamel panels as well as driftwood and crystal media. The stainless steel surround matches the mixed metal accents of the furnishings.

When the homeowners found this painting on their travels, they knew right where it would go. And while the scale and drama of the piece could certainly carry it's own in the room, Chanie Laree Designs envisioned something more. Specialty moulding panels were designed and meticulously crafted, the interiors of which were then painted in an accent color. Fine Italian fabrics were crafted into pillows and after several years of very active use are still supple and beautiful and look as good as they did the day they were fabricated. Chanie then scoured every resource to find the perfect crystal wall sconces. Several thousand wall sconces later, these lovely ones from Fine Arts Lamp were selected. Their craftsmanship and hand applied finish cannot be beat.
