Who needs a two-car garage, when you can have a "carbana"!?!
This formerly unused garage has been converted to a very user friendly cabana-playroom-gameroom, and all around amazing hang-out space!

Family in need of more space converted their attached 2 car garage into a new family/play room. Convenient to the kitchen and laundry, we bumped out the 16' garage door opening and raised the floor to meet the interior spaces. Bump out finished as a nice bright bay window.

This Dallas home originally built in 1958 had a one car garage that was filling up! The homeowners desired to turn that garage into living space for their family and build a new garage on their lot that would give them the storage and car protection. We came up with a plan and found materials that matched their home and the new structure looks as if it was original to the home. We built a new 2 car garage with plenty of space for extra storage and large attic above. A separate door entrance makes for easy entry to the new garage. A large timber bar that runs down the length of the outside wall is perfect for entertaining large groups of guests. We then renovated the old garage and turned it into an awesome living room. It features hardwood floors, large windows and French doors to the patio with an additional door to the driveway. We used reclaimed brick to fill in the outside of the home where the previous garage door was for an exact match! Our clients are thrilled with how this new garage and new living room enhance their home! The floors were stained and then glazed in a rust color, recessed lights were installed throughout, along with three ceiling fans. An air conditioning unit was also installed for the Summer months. The game tables included foosball, air hockey, a card table and a pool table. Plans for the future are to include a bar, sofa and possibly a flat screen TV. The Seaholms have been enjoying this fun space.

The benefits of living in sunny Florida are not needing to protect your car from the harsh elements of winter. For this garage makeover, we transformed a three-car garage into 3 unique areas for gathering with friends and lounging: a movie, card and pool table area. We added a fun removable wallpaper on the far wall, giving the room some fun character. The long wall of velvet curtains is not only for not feeling like you're in a garage, but they were added for acoustics and to allow the garage doors to still open as needed. Lots of fun to be had here!

The owners of this home in Mount Vernon Alexandria, converted the Lower level carport into an enclosed sunroom, with optional garage space, an unfinished attic space was turned into a game room with a ping pong table, and future study for their loved grandchildren. There is added extra space footage to the attic space, a cedar closet, new French doors, direct & indirect lighting, new skylight lights to brighten up the attic, triple triangle window. Also, used etched glass garage doors, created extra garage space, and used client’s provided wooded door connecting the sunroom to the patio.
