What Houzz contributors are saying:
Built-in gas fireplace. The gas fireplace shown here uses a gas appliance, which is typically less expensive than an exterior, true masonry fireplace with a gas log set. The downside to a gas appliance is that it does not offer quite the same authentic look as a true masonry fireplace, but the reliable heat output can be fantastic, it usually costs slightly less and, when properly installed within a nice surround, it is an inviting element with a more reliable heat output than some masonry gas fireplace designs.See more of this outdoor space
