An elaborate paisley pattern, predominately done in deep blue, lighter dusty blue, gold, browns ,and grey, with touches of red and beige, forms a border around two scenes that alternate on the fabric. One is of a rider and horse standing in front of a country Tuder home which is surrounded by trees of light and dark olive green. The other is of a man pacing a horse in front of another building with a similar surrounding. The effect of this is of looking at a small scene through an opening in a wall, one is a watcher, not a participant in the scene.
The colors of both scenes are realistic and set against a background of tan or beige with a slight pink cast to it. The lightest color is the natural linen tone of the fabric, the darkest is black. The color saturation is excellent, so that even the smallest details carry well.
This is 58" wide. Measuring from mid-point of the paisley border, across the scene to the mid-point of the paisley border on the other side, is just over 3 1/2" ( 8.89 cm. ) across. The standing horse is about 5 1/4" ( 13.335 cm. ) from nose to rump. This has nice drape. It is a mid-weight, multi-purpose home decorating fabric that is perfect for curtains, cushions, totes, etc.
