"Silk purse out of a sows ear". This house was a small beach house that had not been worked on since the eighties. The first floor renovation that Brandon Diem designed was so beautiful and efficient. Detail seems to be one of his high priorities, and it shows in the rave reviews received by our neighbors. The referrals 1+1 Design gave us were terrific. Contractor, counter tops,and cabinets were extremely easy to work with

Dishington Construction - Jensen Hus

I worked with Brandon on a Hingham addition/remodel that he designed. I was sub contracted by EKC Construction Management to build several custom built-in cabinetry projects. A mudroom bench with cubbies, large home office, creative master bedroom built-ins and an extremely challenging curved kitchen banquette. I was grateful for the opportunity to bring Brandon's designs to life. He was extremely detailed and was responsive when I had questions about the designs. I look forward to working with him again in the future.

We were very happy with 1 plus 1. We renovated a South End loft and they designed a completely new layout for a 2,700 sqft space, and did the bathrooms and the kitchen. Brandon clearly understood what we wanted to achieve and had great innovative ideas of how to make it the ideal space for our needs. The kitchen cabinets are fantastic. All custom, high end quality and a very good price. We shopped with others but nobody else could deliver the same value.

We were very pleased with 1 Plus 1 Design and the final outcome of our new kitchen. Brandon did an amazing job of listening to what we wanted and fulfilling our needs in the design. We LOVE our new kitchen and how functional it is - it actually makes home cooking a joy! I'd highly recommend Brandon for any architectural job. His vision is well suited for traditional to contemporary, and, remodels to new homes. He is easy to work with and understands what it takes to create a beautiful, functional living space. He was also very skilled at coordinating with the GC and trades, getting the project done on time and on budget. We would definitely hire 1 Plus 1 Design for any future projects.
