This was our first opportunity to collaborate with Deep River Partners and it was a true pleasure to work with such a great team of professionals. Richard Sherer and Chris Chambliss provided very detailed plans covering all aspects of the project. Their attention to detail made it easy for us to successfully build their client's vision. A skilled communicator, Chris was very quick to respond to any questions and was a respectful listener, open to our ideas and suggestions. This particular project was a remodel in a home designed by Russell Barr Williamson, a contemporary of Frank Lloyd Wright. Richard and Chris created a modern design that epitomized the original architect's aesthetic and surpassed the client's expectations. To be honest, in the residential realm it is always leap of faith based on anecdotal evidence, pictures you see online of previous work, and the initial impression received from the company you are about to work with. The beauty of Deep River is that they can put the ceiling of your project anywhere based upon your budget and preferences, but they will make your space as heavenly as possible with a million tricks up their sleeve. Deep River takes their robust, incredible architectural and design ideas to nothing less than artistic expression. What they did to my master suite is nothing less than sublime. I cannot believe that I get to wake up in a piece of art every day. 2) VISION. Their team walked through my house, which was in dire need of some updates and immediately started coming up with a cohesive plan that fit the architectural style of the house and a plan that utilizes every square foot of the house. Their concept of flow, space, and lines of sight still amazes me. 3) TEAM. The years of experience shows. Deep River works as a cohesive unit with the combination of architecture and design working together creates an incredible product. Having a bunch of superstars on your team is one thing (which they do), but seeing them all work together was something great to see. 4) SERVICE. They know the process can be frustrating and they handled all of our concerns along the way with he utmost professionalism. Every suggestion, every upgrade, every dollar was worth it in the end. That's right, EVERY DOLLAR. Also, all of the upgrades they suggested that we didn't get because we couldn't envision the value, we regret! Listen to these people, they know what they are doing! In short, what a positive experience! We lucked out, and you can to!

It takes an historical and artistic knowledge of architectural detail in order to make a house into a home. Deep River and Richard Sherer in particular, design at such a high level as to make the outcome look effortless...like it was always supposed to be that way. What is most sensational about Deep River is the reverence they hold for the value of light, and imbue their designs with it in the most loving way. You can always tell when you experience one of their homes. It's no wonder why their existing clients keep hiring Deep River: they can't get enough of this good thing!!
