My firm, McCarthy Companies, has worked with DiCecco Architecture on several projects over the last 35 years. Mark and his team did the architectural planning for our tear down, ground up home replacement on a lot/neighborhood lived in for over 25 years. We had a vision, and not only did he execute it perfectly, he allowed a progressive design process that probably took a little longer than some. However the results are the most beautiful home in the neighborhood.... WITHOUT it looking out of place or foreign in its environment. We have EXACTLY what we wanted with high end details, provided within a budget that was reasonable and executable by a builder without a lot of costly upgrades or change orders. His work was thorough, professional and of the highest standards. On top of that Mark is a delightful person. He's knowledgeable and extremely easy to work with. We can't say enough about Mark and Di Cecco Architecture. You would never find anyone more well rounded and competent. He gets the highest marks from us and from everyone who has ever seen our home. It's been in a "Home Tour" event, and was the most liked out of 5 properties.

When we need a fresh design or a fresh revision of an old design, we call Mark Di Cecco. He has designed fully custom homes for our customers, as well as home plans for our subdivisions. Along the way, he has redesigned our elevations and the lot layout for a subdivision. Mark's work is inventive; he sees what we need to accomplish in ways that we don't see. In each case, the results have been a good surprise, thoroughly functional and very good looking. As builders, we find Mark easy to work with. He appreciates the nut-and-bolts side of home construction and the benefits of energy efficiency and cost efficiency. DiCecco Architecture, Inc. was a joy to work with. Very professional, easy to work with in that they could accommodate the clients changes on the fly with relative ease and composure. Thankfully because Mark is so talented there weren't many changes needed. They worked well with everyone on my project which were many as this was a home starting from the ground up. Contractors, designers, etc were able to approach them on just about anything that came up.

Marc was the architect I hired 14 years ago to build my house in Pacific Palisades. It was a classic Spanish Santa Barbara style house with the "old world" feeling, but at the same time with all the comforts of the new technology built in. My house from day one had the charm of an "older house" but has not aged a day in 14 years. It has all the classic detail of a home built 100 years ago. The home is 6000 sq. ft. on almost 3/4 acre. It was a real pleasure working with Marc as he is very talented, but it is his charm and personality and lack of "ego" that made him so easy to work with.
