LMD Architecture Studio

Luis Murillo of LMD Architecture Studio is a highly skilled and dedicated professional. My husband and I initially found it difficult to find someone who understood the style of the home we were wanted to create. Luis took on our rather ambitious renovation and transformed our home into a unique, modern Australian masterpiece. Living on a walk street, privacy was important to us as was outdoor entertaining space, Luis was able to create a home that gave us these things and more. Some of the materials we wanted to use were less common in the US but he went out of this way to source what was needed. He managed the subs in a professional manner and persevered until he was completely satisfied with the outcome. He treated the entire project like he was designing and building it for himself. There was not one moment in the 2 years that it took to complete, that Luis didn't give a 100%. We count ourselves lucky to have met and worked with such an amazing architect and would highly recommend the services of Luis and the entire team at LMD Architecture Studio

We highly recommend this detail orientated and highly skilled architecture firm. They re-imagined our tired old 1939 house to a contemporary bungalow in a year. We used their design expertise all the way through the construction process and beyond to helping with hardscapes, perimeter custom gates and a pool design.

Luis is amazing. He is a great listener, problem-solver, and designer/architect. We gave him multiple challenging tasks and he was always up for bringing his A game. He comes with years of experience at KAA, so he understands the high-end home builders needs.

Very organized and on top of all issues associated with permitting. Collaborative approach to design issues. Understood all cost considerations.

If you are looking for an INCREDIBLY TALENTED AND DEDICATED Architect then Luis Murrillo is someone you should seriously consider. In life we rarely come across people who are as passionate as we are about our own projects. Luis took on our very complicated 7200 square foot home with a yard and pool on the top floor. He treated the entire project like he was designing and building it for himself. There was not one moment in the 3 years of the process that Luis didn't apply himself 100%. With all the challenges of building in a busy market, Luis handles the subs and the expected changes along the way with nothing but the best attitude. He was also very clear and considerate of the costs involved. I could go on and on but ultimately if you are reading this review, you are fortunately to have come across LMDesign and I couldn't say enough great things about Luis Murrillo.

Luis worked on our two-year contemporary oceanfront home which was very complicated; and we were most satisfied with the quality of his work and the management of our project. He is not only a talented architect, but he has high integrity and is extremely professional. His project management skills and attention to details are also exceptional and a key to his success.

My husband and I have used LMD for our last 3 projects. Luis is a brilliant architect. He is intuitive, listens and creatively blends the clients needs and desires with his own vision for the project. We live in a beach area of Los Angeles where the lots are tiny and expensive. Luis finds a way to create incredible interior and exterior spaces within a small footprint. We love Luis!!
