HB Custom Cabinets

Hormoz did our cabinets for a full house remodel. He did an absolutely amazing job from start to finish. He thinks of every detail and spent countless hours with us making sure he understood exactly what our vision was. In addition he makes great recommendations throughout the process. He would meet with us on Saturdays and he would meet with us at our house. Of all the subs for our full house remodel he was by far the best. I cannot recommend him enough. If I ever do another remodel or build a house it will only be with him. a true craftsman passionate about his work and home skills over many years.

I recently (Nov. 2022) completed a full home remodel that nearly doubled my square footage. In choosing a cabinet maker I read numerous reviews and viewed numerous online galleries of many local custom cabinet companies. I could not be more pleased with my decision to partner with Hormoz at HB Custom Cabinets in Campbell, CA. Hormoz was amazingly responsive, reliable, and a pleasure to work with. I can be very particular in what I want and it was refreshing to learn Hormoz is the same. He takes great pride in his craft, as he should! Hormoz offered great guidance and wonderful suggestions and I could not be more pleased with the results!! HB's craftsmanship and attention to detail are unparalleled. Can you give a review higher than 5 stars? If so, Hormoz would get one. I couldn’t be happier with the custom kitchen and laundry room cabinets that Hormoz made for our home. We appreciate that Hormoz let us be involved with design process, offering great feedback to our proposed design. He was incredibly generous with his time, allowing us to come to his shop to review the framing, samples, colors and more. His work is absolutely second to none, everything has perfect fit and finish, with all the small details well thought through and perfectly executed. He clearly takes a lot of pride in his work and does not except anything less than “excellent”. I also appreciate how fair and straightforward he was when offering quotes, detailing out each part of his work. If we added or removed anything to the design, he was the first to ensure he wasn’t overcharging us. Hormoz also had to deal with lumber and part shortages while working on our cabinets, working overtime to make sure everything was delivered on time. While H&B may not be the least expensive option, I can assure you Hormoz provides incredible value. If I’m in the market again for new cabinets, Hormoz will be my first call.

Hormoz was the best thing that happened to our remodel!!! He is honest, generous, and fun to work with. We had a very difficult general contractor and Hormoz was able to give us insider tips on where we should be paying close attention to avoid mistakes. Hormoz’s attention to detail and creativity made for GORGEOUS cabinets!!We hired him to make our kitchen cabinets (including custom appliance garage and floating shelves), media wall (with customized doors for subwoofer), desk/office area (with custom file cabinets & floating shelves), floating vanities in 3 bathrooms, and our laundry/mudroom cabinets w custom laundry bar. Could not be happier with the end products!!! Highly recommend. As I said, he was THE best part of our remodel team.

Can't say enough about the customer service, professionalism, quality of work and pride in workmanship as if it was his own house that Hormuz provides. We had an initial design that was quoted and when he came over to get the final measurements, he listened to my wife and the design was modified ( some additions/changes) based on is suggestions. His pricing was still lower than the other 3 quotes on the initial design. The quality of the hardware, self closing door hinges and etc, is fantastic. He delivered on time. If you need cabinets, vanities, entertainment centers or whatever and want suggestions/recommendations from someone with 30 years experience, HB Cabinets is the place to go. It is not a big fancy place. Hormuz will also provide installation services.

My wife and I selected HB custom cabinets for our new house in Saratoga and are extremely happy how great our cabinets came out. For our house Hormoz, the cabinet maker and owner, helped us design cabinets for our kitchen, 4 bathrooms, laundry room and media cabinet. He was very patent and helpful throughout the design process, making great recommendations along the way based on his many years of experience that helped pull the overall design and theme together. I appreciate that even if it extended the design process, he would always make suggestions for my wife and I to consider if he felt it would improve the look or function of our cabinets, where others I spoke to would just tell us what we wanted to hear so things would move quick. Hormoz also went to our house during several of the stages of construction to double and triple check measurements. I can't underscore how important I realized this was after the fact because you learn that, even in a new houses, no floors or walls or ceilings are perfectly straight, there will be small variations (like on order of a half inch) from one side of a room to another. So I was very appreciative that Hormoz was so meticulous to ensure all the fine details come together perfectly -- it made a big difference in the end product. After working with many contractors, that you have to constantly stay on top of to ensure they get the details right and complete, what I appreciated most about Hormoz most was that, in addition to being a very skilled cabinet designer and builder, he takes tremendous pride and passion in his work and in making sure everything comes together perfectly. I never once had to chase after him to get something done right, Hormoz always went above and beyond and didn't stop until ever single detail was 100% complete.

Hormoz built and installed my kitchen cabinets, built in bookshelves and a desk surrounding my fireplace, and my closet cabinets. He was professional, friendly, helpful and very knowledgable about custom cabinentry. Hormoz was prompt to return my calls, and was a self starter -- he didn't need to be reminded or nagged to get my job finished. He made me feel like my job was his priority, even though it wasn't a huge job. His shop is neat and clean. He has many options and worked with my vision, while offering good ideas of his own. His drawings were clear and gave a great idea of what the cabinets would be like. He is honest. He is easy to work with.

I had a wonderful experience working with Hormoz. His attention to details and craftmanship is unbelievable.
