All I can say is aside from the fact he brought my dinings room table and cabinet looking better that when they were purchased many many years ago. He is a quality craftsman. He gave me more than I expected. Reliable, neat, and left the working area cleaner than when he arrived! Thank you Barry for a job well done

I would give a minus star review if that was an option. I contracted Barry to redo my grey dining room table. To touch up some scratches and cover a "water ring" mark left by a bottle of suntan lotion. HIs first attempt at the job was so bad, I had to call him back, he came....reluctantly, & full of excuses. The top of my table looked horrible, there were bubble marks of paint all over, a rough finish, the circle from the suntan lotion bottle was still visible, and he missed covering so many visible spots. He charged me $350 for this terrible job. Against my better judgment, I really didn't want him back in my home again, I insisted he come back and try to correct this mess that he had done to my table. $350 is a lot of money for such a poor job, His second attempt was almost as bad as the first. I had to hire someone else to fix what he had done to my beautiful table. And I haven't even mentioned what a mess of my apartment he made, & he even washed up in my bathroom getting grey paint all over my sink & brand new towels. What kind of a work man leaves a mess like that behind? Note to Barry, bring your own paper towels for your personal clean up upon leaving. I think Barry has been breathing in too much of the paint fumes over the years, his workmanship is horrendous. After no response to my repeated phone calls & emails, I am now forced to be taking Barry to small claims court. What a waste of my time to have to now do this, but I am writing this & taking him to court so hopefully I get my money back and no one else gets stuck with such shoddy furniture repair work

My dining room set is about 35 years old, when the chairs started showing some scratches and distressed finish I decided to have them refinished by a professional. I am very happy with the work done, not only the finish but the wobbly legs and a cracked arm in one of the armchairs, they were beautifully done. I am very happy with the job done in my home very tidy and with minimum disruption . Thanks.

LE Furniture was hired to repair and stain my front door. It is without a doubt the WORST repair job I have ever seen. It looks like a kindergarten class painted my door. The repairs were not done properly and the stain which is missing all over the door was sprayed on top of peeling wood with no surface preparation. Now the stain is peeling. Stain is sprayed all over the glass and never cleaned off. STAY AWAY!! When I called to ask him to come over and see the job, he agreed but NEVER SHOWED UP!! When I called him back he told me he would not come back and did not repair his job. Don't know how he stays in business with this attitude!

I was given a 5 piece antique bedroom set by my parents that was in good need of refinishing. LE furniture was recommended to me by a friend who lives in Manhattan; so I gave Barry a call. You just can't find furniture of this quality anymore and Barry made it look like new, changing the color slightly to make it fit in more with our taste. Everything was done in our home, which was left as clean as it was found. Thanks for the excellent work! We will surely be using Barry again!

Barry is great--not only as a person, but as a professional. He recently restored our antique kitchen cabinets and I couldn't be happier. They were literally crumbling apart and he made them new again. It looks like we purchased an entirely new cabinet set (but for half the price!) I would trust him with anything. As an antique collector, I will definitely be using his services again in the near future. Thanks, Barry!

The work that this "Professional" did for me should come under the heading of "Amateur" I hire him to fix a kitchen table that needed a new top and leg repair. He nailed a piece of unfinished Oak to the table top, stained and then used polyurethane to finish it. He told us not to use the table for 21/2 days which we did. We noted that the table top was very rough and that the rest of the table which was supposed to be stained to match was left just about the way it was before. The legs were even dirty and he went over the dirt. The repair of the leg was one but the table still tilts the way it did before. He came back to our house a seek after we called him, put another coat of polyurethane on the table top and said it was not rough anymore. We told him the top was two different shades and blamed that on the wood. However if it was the wood how come only the two sides and the two end are darker? As far as the leg, he said it was the best he could do. If you are foolish enough to hire this man don't pay in cash as he requests. However

We hired Barry to refinish our kitchen cabinets and couldn't be more pleased! From start to finish the whole process was smooth and clean (which is important bc everything is done in your home!) and the work was done in a timely manner. Once all was said and done with the cabinets we pointed out some scratches from our cats on the legs of one of our dining room chairs. Since they weren't too bad, Barry fixed them up right then and there for free. Two thumbs up!!!

Great work as always. Over the past few years, I've had Barry repair kitchen cabinets, refinish the wood on my futon frame and stain our wooden doors.
