John P. Martin is a licensed general contractor with over 16 years of experience in construction, remodeling and home improvement with a proven track record of delivering successful projects of all shapes and sizes. With a background in both residential and commercial construction, John is a proven project manager with the know-how and skills to bring a full range of projects to completion. In everything he does -- from ground-up new builds, home additions, bathroom renovations, exteriors, and more -- John aims to deliver his clients’ vision on time and on budget. Since establishing John P. Martin Construction in 2017, John has built his reputation and his business on trustworthiness, dependability and the quality of his work. John is a skilled craftsmen! He built us the most incredible deck and it looks stunning! He is also easy to communicate with, a wonderful collaborator and problem solver; he's a true gentleman and highly professional. Our neighbors in Point Loma stop by daily to compliment his work! We are extremely impressed and he takes great pride in his work! We would absolutely hire him again!

If you need any construction done or a new deck, call John P Martin Construction! His work is done to code, structurally sound and beautiful to look at. He is friendly, knowledgeable and fast! Don’t waste your time looking for unqualified or unlicensed people to get your job done, you will waste your money and have to rehire a professional to get it done correctly... just like I did :) I would recommend him to anyone!

Major house projects

I had many major house projects that got completed in no time!! John is always on time, and always makes excellent material and product choices. I trust him 100% to complete everything that he says he will. He has wonderful connections for specialists when needed. Quality, quality, quality! One thing I really appreciate is that, with the exception of leaving behind excellent results, you don’t know he’s been there. Clean, clean, clean!

Bathroom addition

Very talented and trustworthy. He knows when to outsource to other professionals as well. He doesn’t cut corners. He gave us one of the lowest quotes but his quality of work could not have been better.
