I would highly recommend Texas Custom Patios for any addition you might be considering. No other company in our area compares to the quality of work they provide and the design expertise and professionalism we experienced. TCP had completed a patio for my sister several years back, so we were already aware of the quality of work they provided. Now the timing was right to extend our own patio adding on a living space, fireplace and kitchen. Like other reviewers, TCP will not be the cheapest contractor but in my experience, you get what you pay for. We decided it was not worth saving money if we had to sacrifice quality, so TCP was our first call. Ryan Guikema worked with us in the initial phases of our project and was the lead designer. He was very patient as we worked through multiple design layouts and answered the many questions we had without hesitation. The 3-D visual renderings he was able to provide made a huge difference. Ryan has a wealth of knowledge and made some great suggestions for our final plans. Our project manager was "RJ" Roman Rauda who treated our project like it was his own. He made sure all work was completed to perfection and always went above and beyond to keep our project on schedule. He also had some great design suggestions that really made a difference. We also experienced regular communication along the way from RJ which was very important to us as customers. We could not have asked for a better project manager. I will also say that TCP was very respectful of our property and always maintained a clean work area at the end of the day. This is a great reflection on their consideration of the homeowner. Also, I will say the secret of TCP’s success is their trades. The Mason and Electrician I believe are the best in the business. I have never seen such amazing stonework and super clean electrical work. One brick wall had to be extended in height and you would never know there was an extension. The brick match and layout were perfect. The plumbers also went above and beyond and corrected all issues they ran into even making sure to fix a plumbing issue we didn’t realize we had. Also, the roofers did an amazing job tying in the patio to our existing structure and were able to create a solution for an odd, angled roof. Andrea, TCP's designer, was also very helpful when assisting us in picking out our project materials. We appreciated the opportunity to truly make it our own through the design selections we were offered. Our patio is now complete and has exceeded our expectations. We now have more entertaining space have received lots of compliments from our family and friends. This was definitely money well spent!

We couldn't be happier with our new outdoor living space by Texas Custom Patios! We had no less than 6 different quotes for this project, and while TCP was not the cheapest, they certainly offered WAY more for our money than any of the other companies we profiled. From the start, the Project Manager- Logan and Main Contractor-Jon handled everything! They walked us through the entire process and what we should expect as far as timing and materials. We especially liked how they structure payments throughout the project. Other companies demanded half the money up front, and then half upon completion. TCP spreads the payments over the entire project, only receiving funds after a specific part of the project is completed and has passed inspection. That is called integrity. They handled all the HOA requirements, permits, scheduled inspections, all of it! TCP had great finish options, and used quality materials. They only schedule specific crews because they have very high standards of workmanship and every one of the sub-contractors that worked on our project were highly skilled and completely professional. To sweeten the deal, they offer an incredible warranty on all of their projects. Our project, though not as large as most, was still treated with the utmost personal care. We were in constant contact with our team throughout the entire project, and no question ever went unanswered. Quality of construction of our outdoor kitchen and fireplace is very high. Used same stone as on our house & used first-rate construction techniques. Finished product exceeded expectations. Delivery of appliances was delayed due to COVID supply issues; add time to your schedule accordingly. Easy to work with.

We are overwhelmingly satisfied with all the great work Texas Custom Patios (TCP) did to give us the patio of our dreams. We realize the building/construction industry has a bad reputation for not responding or showing up for jobs, but we experienced none of that with TCP. Everyone from TCP, including all the contractors working on our project, were responsive, professional, and highly skilled in their jobs. We have watched the frustration our next door neighbors have had, and still are experiencing, working with a different company. We are giddy (can we say smug?) with our decision to go with TCP!! :) We were absolutely thrilled with Collin Jarrell's design work! We had several initial meetings with Collin to design our patio, in which he was responsive, patient and professional. As part of the initial consultation and quote, Collin created our project using online 3D software that we could see via Zoom calls. Other companies we talked to would not provide an online visual until after we signed the contract. Collin made changes real time and provided explanations and suggestions to give us a gorgeous patio. Collin has a great eye for designing patios! Collin was the reason we decided to choose TCP as our contractor. Our project manager, Rob Baird, is great at his job. He moved our project along smoothly, even when dealing with delays due to COVID. Rob was patient and responsive to our (ok…mostly my husband’s) many texts asking for updates and status. We were very impressed with how well Rob kept track of the many moving parts…and were happy with his willingness to make changes when we wanted upgrades, or when we had a few hiccups. Rob was always pleasant, responsive, and very easy to work with. We already miss seeing him in our back yard! We are truly delighted with everyone at TCP for making our patio building experience painless and pleasant. We really enjoyed meeting everyone who worked on our patio, and are humbled by the expertise and professionalism. We will think of TCP fondly while enjoying our wonderful new space for years to come.

My wife and I worked with Justin Meyers and Logan Schell to design and build our new backyard resort. Justin knocked it out of the park and brought to life what we asked for and more! He thought we were crazy at first when we told him how large we wanted it to be, but he is a phenomenal designer and he listens to what you want and he makes it a reality. Logan was fantastic to work with as the onsite project manager and he was extremely responsive to each and every question and call along the way. The sub-contractors that TCP use are extremely reliable and absolutely expert craftsmen in each of their trades. The new patio and deck area is as large as our first home and has every single aspect that we wanted and then some. We use it constantly and have had so many neighbors come and ask to see it. We researched companies for months to do this project. There are many less expensive companies that do this type of work. If you want the best in the area, call TCP.

These guys did great quality work and they stayed the course until everything on our punch list was completed, big or small. They did a great job communicating with us throughout the process and their workers were always respectful and easy to work with. We had an idea of what we wanted, and Justin was able to utilize his super cool software to make our ideas come to life. Rob was then our man on the ground working with us and the crews daily to be sure things were going according to plan and schedule. They truly do excellent work from start to finish and we would highly recommend Texas Custom Patios.

I have been dreaming about a backyard makeover for the more than 6 years since I bought my house. I chose TCP after Justin was able to efficiently (and patiently) walk me through options and show me a design for a new patio and cover that blended perfectly with my house and fit my budget. Then Jon, my project manager, saw to it that the final result was even better than I had envisioned. TCP’s work is the highest quality. Jon really listened to any concerns I expressed during the build and never hesitated to make changes that ensured I was happy with the final result. The new patio looks as though it has always been here. I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. I’m not going to lie. As with any construction project, some of the delays due to permit issues, supply issues, and the truly awful weather were frustrating. But in all the areas that truly matter, TCP exceeded expectations, and I highly recommend them.

Incredibly professional and thorough from design all the way through completion of build. Collin listened to what we wanted and made great suggestions that resulted in renderings that really helped us visualize the project. Handoff to Rob for the build was great. Good management of subs and communication throughout. Despite challenging conditions (weather, coordination, materials), TCP worked with me to develop solutions and delivered the final product as promised on time and on budget. We are very happy.

We have a pretty small backyard that was not usable. Justin Meyers came up with a rendering that provided a fire pit, built in seating, retaining walls, and enough space for our grill and a small table! We went from having zero space to about 500 SF of an amazing backyard with a screened in patio. We get nothing but compliments when people walk by. Justin took care of everything from the rendering and concepts all the way through construction. The crews he had working were very nice and professional too. If we ever need work done to our house, we will call Justin again.

For some time, I was considering extending our back porch so we could have more screened in space for the family. I did a lot of research before deciding on the company that would work on this project. I decided to go with Texas Custom Patios and it was the absolute correct decision. For starters, they assigned me an all star Project Manager, Logan Schell. He was on top of this project from the start and he communicated with me almost on a daily basis until the project was completed. More importantly Logan and his subcontractors worked very hard to meet our expectations and to make the necessary adjustments if we wanted to make some modifications to the original plan. The entire process of adding on a new porch was fairly easy. Collin assisted with the design and was very helpful. He was able to design exactly what we wanted. Once the construction started, we were provided updates frequently throughout the process. Any small issues that came up were resolved quickly and professionally by the project lead Rob. All the crews did a great job and cleaned up good after each job was completed. We are very pleased with our new porch!

In December Texas Custom Patios completed a screened-in porch addition on my home. I am thrilled with the results, as it was just what I wanted. The profile matches well with the existing house. Taylor Campbell and Logan Schell supervised the work. The site was kept clean during the construction period, and all of the people who worked on it were very accommodating. Whenever a question arose, I could easily get the attention of Taylor or Logan to address the issue.

We got 3 bids from different companies and we choose Texas Custom Patios (TCP). We knew going into this project that it was going to be expensive so we had to be careful to select a company that was not just competent but personable as well. We found that with TCP. From the moment we met with Ryan Guikema we liked his professionalism and his persona. Ryan designed our patio based on what we had visualized. He was upfront and honest with everything and the contract we agreed to. There were no hidden tricks or additional fees. Michael Fickle was assigned as our project manager. If you decide you ever want to do an outdoor living space and select TCP ask if Mike can be your project manager. Mike made good on every action throughout the process. He is personable, professional, and courteous. Also I need to recognize Andrea. We met with Andrea and she helped us decide on the stone, floor tile, and even the grout. She is was very professional and most of all patient with us because I think we took longer than we should have and asked her 10,000 questions. The carpenters, masons, tile setters, electricians, plumbers, concrete workers, they were all simply amazing. I saw how hard they worked and how much pride they took in their craft. I fed the workers lunch several times and made certain they always had plenty of water to drink. So for us and our project we are beyond satisfied. I highly recommend Ryan, Mike, Andrea, and all the folks at Texas Custom Patios.

We had 4 companies come out for quotes on our outdoor patio. Texas Custom Patio was the fairest quote with the scope of work we wanted done. The workers were all very professional and did a wonderful job. Our project managers were reliable and consistently checked in during the duration of the project start to finish.

We just completed our outdoor living and kitchen space, and love it. We worked with Collin during the design phase, and then Rob was our project manager. As with any project of this magnitude, there were hiccups, but Rob and Collin responded well and solved issues quickly. We are very happy with our patio, and with the quality of workmanship of each of the trades that worked on our project. Can't complain about the timeline, especially during COVID time when so many people are starting these type projects. We signed an agreement in July, work started in August, completed in December. I would not hesitate to use TCP again!

As everyone should do, I reached out to several companies to get quotes. I weeded it down to TCP and another company. TCP’s Ryan G. listened to what we wanted, made recommendations, and came back with excellent drawing of what we wanted. He allowed you to give your input and ideas. The process of HOA approval was all handled by Ryan. Our project was rather simple in comparison to other work TCP does. Mike F. was the project manager and did a good job of responding to questions and communicating project status. We are pleased with our new outdoor living space and recommend TCP for any plans you have for your backyard.

We are extremely happy with the job Texas Custom Patios did updating our patio. Although we wanted to extend our covered patio to include a dining area, during the design process, Collin offered several suggestions regarding lighting, ceiling and flooring options. The overall result exceeded our expectations! TCP were able to successfully deal with the HOA approvals and met their original schedule. Rob kept us up to date on all the activities and did a fantastic job managing all the subcontractors. We were very impressed with the quality of the work done by all the subcontractors. Midway Hollow area of Dallas. UPDATE May 2021. We are about at the end of the project, and although it hasn't always been perfect, the final overall result is amazing. Collin is the designer, sales man, and head of the Dallas office. He made a few appearances to discuss our concerns and get the project back on track. He is sincere, reasonable, and willing to work together to resolve issues. The trades did excellent work. When you hire a contractor there is often a great deal going on, and the homeowner is usually the only consistent person on site the whole time. So, it is necessary for you to be involved, observe the work, and ask questions. Feb 2021 TCP is currently seriously over booked. Buyer be ware - expect several months of delays. We started a patio extension in May 2020 and it is still not done. We signed in March, waited a few months for county clearance due to COVID, got the county approval, and have been plagued by multiple delays. They have great renderings and the pitch guy is very good. I've been told several times that since people are not traveling those who can are doing work on their homes. The work is good, but they are too scattered and can't manage their time. There are not enough qualified project managers, or trades people to keep up. In the most recent 6 months a 3,500 sq. ft. house has gone up behind us, and we are still not clear when this will be done. I have to make a couple of decisions on a patio wall, but the kitchen appliances have been in for 3 months and the granite is still not done, there are still cartons of unused stone sitting on the patio for 3 months. They could finish quickly if they would tell their trades to get it done, but instead I am having to put this in writing.

First off, I want to address something other reviewers have commented on. Yes, when I first reached out, a sales lady did talk to me about budget. I did not feel condescended. I felt like this was just laying some ground work and each side was gauging the expectations of the other. We do not regret choosing TCP to build our patio! Our designer, Ryan, made a few suggestions that were just right for our project. Not to mention, his 3D model right off the bat was impressive. We hit a pretty big bump in the road with the concrete, but TCP was happy to make it right. We feel like, had we gone with another company or person, issues during construction could have been an absolute nightmare. But with TCP, we were taken care of without a fight. We did have a few more bumps in the road as the project went on. After all, it was built by people, and sometimes people make mistakes. But every time we had an issue, our project manager, Mike Fickle, was prompt and happy to get it handled! His goal is absolutely, 100% customer satisfaction. He went out of his way to take extra special care of us on more than one occasion, and we were grateful to be able to work with him. Our patio is beautiful and matches our house perfectly. Mike made the process go smoothly, even during the hiccups. If we end up needing to use our warranty, we trust TCP to stay true to their word and make any corrections that may need to be made. Overall, we would absolutely recommend Texas Custom Patios!

We could not be any happier with the fabulous looking Outdoor Kitchen project completed by Texas Custom Patios ! The stucco, structure, and roof are amazing. Chris & Brian kept us up to date with all of the planned activities and every crew did a fantastic job! The team was always responsive in answering any questions along the way and made a strong effort to make sure we were very pleased. Enjoying the outdoor kitchen and entertainment area already and look forward to spending as much time as possible grilling and relaxing. We had an outstanding experience with Texas Custom Patios! They created a beautiful screened outdoor living area for us including an outdoor kitchen and a sitting area. Worked with Josh at TCP to build a covered balcony with stone arches and drop down screens. This replaced the builders balcony which was wood and open to the weather. Under the balcony there is now an outdoor kitchen with a very nice grill and an exhaust hood. Finished job meets my expectations and was completed on time and on budget. We have used the outdoor space more in the last 4 months that we did in the previous 12 years.

Our just completed project exceeded our expectations in every way. Alot of extras were included that we were not expecting for the price. From beginning until the end, Chris & Brian, the construction crews, and other crafts were so professional in the way everything was done. We recently built an outdoor room with Texas Custom Patios . The outdoor project consisted of a structure with a fireplace, living area, outdoor kitchen and tongue and grooved ceilings . In addition , we also remodeled an existing patio . TCP was efficient . We worked together to create a beautiful project . Brandon was very amicable and easy to work with . If there was a phrase that could describe TCP, then it would be "Great Customer Service". Our experience with Ryan and his team was nothing but positive. We appreciate the time they took to understand our wishes for the project within our budget. Our outdoor kitchen, patio, and roof were completed within 3 months (this includes the whole process of drawings, permits, and construction). If there's anyone that is interested in building an outdoor kitchen, a general rule of them in this industry is that for every linear foot of counter space, it's $1k. However, consider more room for your patio. The patio space was considerably less expensive, which is good since that's where you'll be spending time. Great advice and honest guidance were provided by Ryan & TCP. Again, we were pleased with the results of the project and the entire experience.

TCP over delivered. From the first initial meeting to the final delivery of the project, Collin, Logan and their team did an outstanding job. Their constant communication on updates, scheduling, etc... made the building process enjoyable. They were very transparent, reliable and stayed within the scope of the project and did all the heavy lifting with the HOA, city, etc... I interviewed four contractors for my dream project- transforming our uninviting back porch and yard into a lovely outdoor kitchen and patio garden room. Two days after meeting with Dan Vedas of Texas Custom Patios, Dan presented me with a detailed, professional plan to make my dreams come true. On computer he walked me through rendered views of the project proposal and tweaked the design. Such a good decision to hire TCP for my patio project! A very professional company that takes care of everything. We work full time and are out of the house early, Ryan would meet with us before we left or later in the evening to accommodate our schedule. Great workmanship completed on time and on budget. They even tore down and replaced a whole days work of stonewall, when it didn’t look quite as I had imagined, with no problem at all. Nothing was too much trouble. Texas Custom Patios did a great job on our Patio rebuild. Chris Clark was our contractor on the job. He sat down with us in the beginning and discussed what we wanted. He drew up the plans and gave us a cost estimate of the project. He stuck to the cost estimate even though we had some changes to our original design. He also supplied a complementary outdoor TV as a cost free bonus to the project. He was easy to talk with and discuss the changes and he implemented them with minimal changes to the cost estimate. He was attentive to our needs and desires for the finished project. His crews were also very good and efficient in the work that they did on the project. We were sold on Texas Custom Patios the moment we saw the rendering of our patio project and learned of TCP's "exact quote" pricing. Our project developer Brandon was always accessible, always kept an open line of clear communication and took care of everything. Brandon was always on top of things, which we really appreciated. We love our finished product of a covered patio complete with an outdoor fireplace and (something we added on) improved yard drainage. With anything, you certainly get what you pay for, and our TCP patio has met all our expectations in quality and appearance.

Texas Custom Patios came highly recommended by a number of our neighbors. When we bought our house, the “patio” was a plain cement slab that was unusable in the summer, marginally useful in fall, winter, and spring, and unsightly in all seasons. Brandon from Texas Custom Patios helped us design our new patio (and avoid a few near-miss design mistakes) and walked us through the construction process. The process was turnkey and quick — far faster, in fact, that we had been told. Compared to other remodels that we have been through, the construction process was remarkably smooth, clean and non-disruptive. The owner of the company came out to inspect our job (which was not a large one, by the way) personally and found one small issue, which was promptly corrected at no cost to us. The result was a patio that looks like it was originally part of the house and has really increased our enjoyment of our backyard and probably the value of our house. Just finished our patio extension with a built-in kitchen addition. It looks awesome! We were very pleased with Texas Custom Patios. Our General Contractor - Joshua Murray was great to work with. He always kept us posted with where we were and what was going to be done next! Our roof line was tricky to work with but TCP was able to get it done and now it looks like the roof had been built that way from the beginning. Very pleased with the outcome!!

Texas Custom Patios did an amazing job on our new patio/fireplace/outdoor kitchen project. The bid was very organized and included detailed 3D drawings of our project. We wanted something with the wow factor and that is exactly what we got. Any issues we had were resolved without question. I had a few outside the box requests with my fireplace and brickwork and they were willing to work with me to create exactly what I wanted. I would 100% recommend Texas Custom Patios for your next outdoor project.

I've had patio covers built at other houses and never before have I experienced such a thorough and detailed job. Would I use TCP again? Answer: Yes. Would I recommend TCP to others? Answer: Yes. Why didn’t I rate TCP a “5”? The short answer is because “5” would have required execution of the project without significant miscommunications, delays, or surprises. Even though we experienced some of these, TCP worked to resolve the issues and provide quality solutions to our satisfaction. I would have given TCP 9 out of 10, but the scale was 1 to 5. Our TCP project manager stated from the beginning that they would seek to complete the job correctly rather than quickly. This was true to our experience. Our initial contact with TCP was in January, our contract was signed by early February, construction started in early March, and final punch list was completed in late July. We were very pleased with the quality of the craftsmanship and the attitude of the tradesmen. Flatwork (concrete), framing, roofing, electrical, trim, and painting were all done extremely well. It was evident from the construction materials and methods used that TCP has high standards and wants customers to be satisfied. TCP’s project payment schedule and flexibility for changes within the scope of the original budget were fair and reasonable. TCP generated a relatively realistic concept drawing of our project, but did not produce blueprints or engineering drawings for any of our project. I believe they do have access to engineering and architectural resources if needed (at an additional charge), but it was not clear to me at the beginning of our project that no blueprints would be generated. So, if that is important to you, or if you want exact dimensions and design characteristics specified in writing, let TCP know in advance. The existence of blueprints would have eliminated some of the miscommunications and surprises on our project. In the end, TCP delivered a high quality product that is complementary to our existing home architecture and is a definite enhancement to our home and its appeal, both on the inside and outside.

Collin and Joshua and the rest of the TCP team did an awesome job. There were a lot of things that we wanted to do, but because of other projects, we designed our backyard living area in phases. The initial phase was the extension and covered area. Collin worked with the architect and after much back and forth with the City, we were able to get the best design possible. Though it delayed the project, it was well worth it. The patience and dedication they presented during this time was commendable. Once permitting was achieved, Joshua took the reigns and it was off to the races. This was a significant project so from start to finish it took almost 6 months. The results were outstanding and it was a true teamwork effort that modified the details as things progressed and certain looks had to be adjusted based on conditions. That did not stop Josh and his team and in the end it seems that we have an awesome finished product. As Joshua can attest to, I am a detailed oriented person (engineer by education) and there were a few times that he asked me to trust him that the look would turn out the way we envisioned and it was true. So for future customers that have Joshua as the Project Manager, feel at ease that he will get you what you want as long as you keep the lines of communications open and consistent. In the same manner, he was open to our suggestions on things that at the end of the day, he felt turned out extremely well. The bottom-line is that they will work with you to get the look and feel that will make your backyard living area exactly what you imagined. Josh Murray consulted with us before the build on options, designed a patio that was better than imagined, worked with us to include our ideas and allowed us to view a couple of open projects before beginning our project. From the time the permits were approved through when the last item on the punch list was completed, our project developer, Josh Murray, was actively involved every step of the way. Having built a house in Cinco Ranch in 2012, with one of the biggest lots in the subdivision, we had our sights set on creating an upgraded outdoor space that would enhance the aesthetic appeal of our home (people can view our home from the back as their is a walking trail along a lake) and have setting to relax, enjoy the outdoor air watching some sporting events and enjoying some adult beverages and my passion for grilling. We were impressed with a project completed on our neighbors home the previous year. When the timing was right, we called Dean Pyfferoen to come out for a visit and talk about some plans. We had a couple of requests in terms of what we were looking to do: 1) incorporate a design that still leaves room for a swimming pool in the future and 2) with our existing "vaulted ceiling" on the patio cover, we wanted to the extended cover to incorporate an "open" feeling, as we didn't want it to feel like we were in a cave. TCP delivered to our expectations on this - the patio cover turned out great. We also included an outdoor fireplace, and Dean incorporated some great ideas to angle the fireplace to give it a look which feels a lot more connected to the rest of the project. I will say, because of some weather issues, TCP project loads and other things outside of their control, we did have some delays in reaching some milestones on the project, but we knew that the build quality, attention to detail, and their willingness to correct things that weren't up to our "liking" or "preference" were made right. The end product was fantastic, and outdoor space has been wonderful to entertain, and most importantly watch every step of the Astros run to the World Series Championship!! The disappointing thing is that our winter in Houston has almost been too cold to even enjoy an outdoor fire feature! But plenty of nice early Spring days await! Our Project Manager, Dean is very knowledgeable, personable, and had great suggestions for incorporating what we wanted with our budget in mind, and while he was extremely busy over the summer, he worked with us on every issue we had during the process even though we leaned on him pretty hard sometimes! Further, the workers who came to our house during the project, were very respectful, professional and competent in what they were doing. Our patio was "different" in that it presented some challenges on finishing out the underside of the cover, with a lot of angles and cuts of wood. It turned out fantastic. All in all, I highly recommend Texas Custom Patios. They will work with you on just about any idea you have, and they'll give you their opinion on whether something looks good or isn't worth your money. They value the relationship with their customer and I trust that they'll be there if we have a problem in the future! With any project of this undertaking, I would tell others you have to exercise patience with the timeline. It almost always will take longer than you think, but the end product is well worth the wait!

You get what you pay for and in some cases a whole lot more. Jeremey presented us with a design that beautifully integrated the patio into the garage and complimented the architecture of the house. Quality of construction was was excellent and the finish work very well done. Short of building a complete home, they will do as little or as much as you want. He did say that when the guys are not building their patios they are constructing custom homes for high end homebuilders. Jeremy was also wonderfully accommodating as well and took care of absolutely everything. Think, "Peace of Mind". We we rewarded with a cozy outdoor living space that is thoroughly enjoyable.

Our patio addition was designed exactly to our specifications and delivered on time. Because we wanted the addition to look like it was initially designed and built at the same time our home was, some demolition to our exterior walls was necessary. TCP maintained a clean work site, the crew was courteous and even suggested sometimes less expensive and innovative alternatives when it came to certain design ideas and materials. Virtually no "punch out" items were necessary as all was addressed during construction and when minor items were found necessary, everything was fixed quickly. We find ourselves using our outdoor space far more frequently than even first anticipated. There is no question our outdoor living space has enhanced our home!

We are a Very Satisfied customer of Texas Custom Patios (TCP). After meeting with several other contractors for potential design ideas and price quotes I noticed an advertisement by TCP in the Dallas, TX edition of "The Home Mag". Their ad included a picture of a patio that indicated a refinement of design and workmanship that we had been looking for and seemed to be missing in the designs we had been considering from other patio contractors. We didn't want to build a structure that looked "attached" to our house simply to provide additional shade. We were looking for a beautiful extension of our living space that looked like came with the original house. An Outdoor Living Room that could not only be enjoyed during the hot days of summer but especially enjoyed in the shoulder seasons when its cooler outside and may even be raining! We were equally impressed when we met with Bryan, a representative and partner in TCP. His building experience, demeanor went a long way in our decision to work with his company. The work crews (carpenters, electrical, plumbing, painters) were timely, pleasant and courteous,...even when they had to show up multiple times to get something corrected to my liking. TCP's professionalism and flexibility during the project never wavered from day 1, and as an ever-present homeowner overlooking the process, I put that to the test. I felt like Bryan's worst nightmare as I asked for adjustments in the original design, or took additional time to sort out our priorities,...but he never gave any indication of it. He never rushed our decision making and always considered any changes I suggested. In turn, he offered his experienced opinions in his answers. The end result is that we are not only loving our new Outdoor Living Room, it was a very enjoyable experience too. We are now planning some additional work in our backyard (rebuilding a retaining wall and improving an "open air" patio space)...and of course we want TCP to build that for us too!

Todd Smith was the project manager on the building of our patio. He listened to every detail of what we wanted, and not only delivered, but went well above and beyond. He was on sight every single day making sure everything was perfect. Someone was here working every day from day one to the end of the project. I should also mention that Todd was very flexible in working simultaneously with our pool builder. Todd never once tried to up sell us on upgrades. He knew our budget and stuck to it. I highly recommend this company and Todd Smith for any outdoor living extension. Matter of fact, we will cal them again when we are ready for our outdoor kitchen. Texas Custom Patio under the leadership of Justin Meyers completely transformed our lackluster backyard into something very special. We have remodeled our entire house within the last couple of years, but in my mind this was the most life enhancing change we made. They tore out our tiny concrete patio and poured a beautiful contoured space which they overlaid with travertine, built a decorative rock ledge wall and built a pergola over it complete with ceiling fans and outdoor lighting. We needed some wood replaced in our breezeway and Justin went beyond what was necessary to repair it and replaced it with a beautiful wood plank ceiling. He assisted us in finding contractors to replace our windows and gutters too. They are definitely interested in making sure you get a great finished total product, not just their part of it. We met Rob at a Houston home and garden show in February 2016. We liked him and photos of his work on display, so we contacted him for a bid to build a covered deck and patio. (I wanted a deck, and my husband wanted a patio so we compromised and got both!) Our daughter was getting married in July, and we wanted it done in time for wedding-related parties. Rob visited us and had a design ready about two weeks after our first meeting. We loved what he designed and went with it. We couldn't be happier! Rob was easy to work with and very responsive to our requests and timelines. His crew worked efficiently, and he even met with our landscaper to coordinate some issues. The work is beautiful and functional and was completed ahead of schedule! All of our wedding visitors loved it as well as our neighbors. Everyone has commented about how it looks like it was built with the house, which is 20 years old. The only thing wrong with the whole process is that we drug our feet and didn't do this years ago! Texas Custom Patios did an amazing job changing a narrow, low ceiling outdoor patio (22' by 8' with a 8 foot ceiling) into a large, covered outdoor living area (22' by 18' with a 12 foot ceiling) which has become our main summer living space. Bryan Jones, our project manager, was on site daily to check on the progress of the subs and make sure all the work was done to our agreed specifications. We have an "C-Shape home built in the 70's and our goal was to make this patio extension match our existing home and look like it was always part of the house. We met with several different contractors and originally were going to build a small portico in the back part of the backyard. Steven was the only one who questioned why we were doing that when we had the space to extend the roof line and build a bigger and better patio when you walk out to our backyard. It was basically adding a new addition to the house. It is the best decision we have ever made for our home, aside from remodeling our kitchen. We were very happy with the quality of the work, not just the construction crew, but the electrician and tech support. We are constantly entertaining on the patio and practically live out there. We extended and covered our backyard patio. I normally have a difficult time envisioning the final project, and I find making decisions a challenge. Brian took away that challenge. He worked very hard to meet our needs while staying within our budget. He stayed with the project every step of the way. He also made very good suggestions on things we hadn't even thought of (such as placing electrical outlets in the columns and soffit, placement of fans and lighting, and adding an outdoor TV), but he never pressured us to do anything. The crew was very knowledgeable and respectful and cleaned the work site daily before going home. They were also respectful of my neighbors. Our finished space is beautiful and we couldn't be happier.

I used Texas Custom Patio's to design and build a 275 sq ft "screened-in" porch for my home in Dallas area. Texas Custom Patios help make our backyard our daily getaway. They installed French doors from our bedroom to our patio. They also built the covered patio, outdoor kitchen, fire pit and an area for a hot tub. We finally have a place to sit and relax!

Very easy to work with. Adaptable to our wishes and had great suggestions of how to improve on our original idea. The project took a little bit longer than expected but everything was completed so well that we didn't mind. They were excellent at cleaning up after each phase. Steven, the Project Manager, was great and his advice on what we should and should not do was always good. We have a much nicer room than we had ever dreamed of, mostly thanks to him. We moved a window, extended the roof line, replaced flooring and enclosed an area of approximately 30 x 12 feet, with brick/wood and screen. The ceiling is natural wood; the flooring is stone and both exceeded our expectations. The crews were mostly very good, timely and courteous. If we did not like how something was done, it was fixed. We never expected perfection, and it is not perfect, but I would definitely recommend Texas Custom Patios to friends, and in fact, have done so.

Custom Patio project. By far the most detailed and personalized proposal. Work included: all permits and HOA approvals (huge by itself!), demolition and removal of existing wooden patio and pergula, new concrete deck, custom hard roof extension and finishing, Texas Stone knee wall, Texas Stone fire pit, all gas work, all gutter work, electrical, lighting and painting. Ryan G. was there throughout the entire project and after. We dealt with our rainy spring and finsished on time to enjoy this summer. We are very happy.

My project involved adding on a custom patio across the entire width of my home. When I was looking for a company to do my patio addition, I researched several companies. My major concern was that I wanted the patio addition tied back into the main frame of my home such that the patio addition would look as if the home was originally built with the patio. I scheduled a meeting with a TCP Project Manager and shared my hand sketched plans, ideas and budget. TCP Project Manager (Mark) took my plans, ideas and budget and added the well known TCP Flavor and went straight to work. Mark was a Professional and did an excellent job in managing my projects implementation to high quality standards.. TCP was very Professional every step of the way through the construction milestones.

Texas Custom Patios did an absolutely stunning job creating the perfect living space for our backyard. Our project included a covered patio, a kitchen area to house my husband’s Big Green Egg, stamped concrete, a seating wall, and a gas fire-pit. Everything that I requested was heard and respected and even expanded upon, and I was able to see the backyard that I had envisioned (and much more) become a reality in a matter of weeks. Ryan, our project manager, was both attentive and patient with every request, question, and concern that I raised at any point throughout the duration of the project. He was always a phone call or text away, responding every time in an impressively timely manner. He listened to and accommodated my requests, but he also offered suggestions to broaden my imagination as to what I could create with simple adjustments to our design. (I actually went with his suggestion on the stain of my pine ceiling, and I could not be more pleased!) In addition, I am beyond impressed with the quality of the materials, the sub-contractors hired, and the overall final appearance of this project. This was my first experience with a contractor/home improvement project (beyond changing out shower heads, etc.), and I must admit that I am a little terrified to tackle anything else... I have been spoiled by Texas Custom Patios. Thanks, guys!

TCP built an outdoor living area for me and my wife - dining room, kitchen, fireplace, living area, and fire pit The company does great work. I've gotten rave reviews from friends/family who have seen it. The owner worked closely with my wife (who owns a real estate business and has renovated several rental houses) on the project. This was a "no hassle" project and it was a good experience. Even though the project took a bit longer than expected, we are very happy with the result and I highly recommend TCP's work.

Texas Custom Patios took my husband's idea for a covered patio and worked with us through the design and construction process so we ended with a product that was nicer than either of us had imagined. Once the design was decided, Jeremy Williams handled the details. He got the design approved through our HOA and managed all of sub-contracting. We were told when to expect the cement workers, electricians, carpenters, roofers and painters. If there were any areas that needed attention, he followed through quickly. Ryan and his crew at Texas Custom Patios did an amazing job in creating my backyard patio. I had a vision when I purchased my home 2 years ago of what I wanted it to look like. We are so very happy that we used Texas Custom Patios for our construction project. Our new patio is beautiful and has added so much liveable space to our home. We sit outside every day now whereas before the patio was built we never sat outside. Working with Rob Douglass was a pleasure. Great experience with the entire staff who built my patio. Project manager was professional and answered my questions and returned my texts/calls in a very timely manner. I was given a timeline of my project so I always knew in advance which job was being completed on each day. Excellent workmanship and customer service.
