Ryan, Mike, Terry and team were wonderful to work with. We originally hired them in the summer of 2018 to restore the facade of our historic row home. Not only did they offer a fair price, but they went above and beyond and completed beautiful work. This winter we had them back to work with us to create and install a small wet bar. We couldn’t find an upper cabinet layout we liked so Ryan built custom shelves out of reclaimed wood that pulled the entire project together. We plan to hire the Burketts again for future woodworking projects. They are diligent, talented, and easy to work with.

Burkett Building & Deign recently completed construction of a Powder Room and the total remodel of my Main Bathroom, Kitchen and Family Room. They also designed and installed custom storage cabinetry and a reclaimed vintage wood coat rack in the Family Room. The entire project exceeded my expectations - from the initial consultation/proposal through the final day of construction. The care taken with my home in their daily setup/clean up, quality and craftsmanship of the work, and attention to detail by the entire team was outstanding. Ryan and Terry were recommended to me when I was remodeling my kitchen. They were wonderful. I wasn't really sure what the process would be like and they walked me through every step and there were no surprises. I felt comfortable having them in my home and my dog loved them! I called Terry to rescue a remodeling project that had gone horribly wrong. Terry and his son Ryan were able to fix a terrible drywall installation, craft and install window, floor, and ceiling trim, and install a bamboo floor. To finish the job, Pat painted all of the trim and the wall repairs. The quality of their work is perfection and their performance is skillfully professional. Terry sized up my situation, provided excellent advice, and brought the project to completion quickly and reasonably. This family team showed up on time, covered my carpeting and stairs with drop cloths, built the window trim offsite to minimize dust, cleaned up at the end of every workday, and quietly got the job done.
