"I have a wonderful family, whose goal for a long time was to own our own home. This was a challenge that took time, and as time passed, the meaning of the word 'home' grew in depth. When we finally found our country home, it was like a missing puzzle piece. It needs work, and always will. But that journey is our home. It is a growing love of the space we live in. It is with this understanding that I find great satisfaction in providing a service that allows others to shape their homes over time to become the spaces that they Love to Live in." I have collaborated with Harvest Building Company on a variety of high end custom jobs. Adam is extremely detail oriented, and one of his best strengths is his ability to communicate a project from conception to completion. He continues to think outside the box which leads to jaw dropping results!
We hired Harvest Building Company to rebuild our back deck and to build a brand new front porch. After receiving bids from multiple contractors/builders we decided on Harvest Building Company - not only because their referrals were good and the price was right, but we also felt the "fit" was right. They listened to our ideas, shared their ideas and as a team we moved ahead with the projects. HBC is reliable - our projects came in within budget and timeframe quoted; easy to work with - changes midstream were not a problem: creative - when asked "how wide/high should that bench be?', the answer was, "we're carpenters, we can do whatever you like." Everything was custom built to our specifications. Adam and Dave are were wonderful to work with, they love what they do and we look forward to working with them again in the future!
Harvest Building Company converted one bay of our three-car garage into an entry room and the entire second floor into an office and guest bedroom and full bathroom. One of the unique features was the dividing wall between the bedroom/office/sitting room spaces. The wall was a bookshelf, which had a center panel, which rotated (they figured out that the mechanism for a windmill would allow the panel to rotate 360 degrees in both directions). While one side contained a bookshelf, the other side had a plain wall so that we could mount a TV on it, thus, allowing the TV to be viewed in the sitting area or in the bedroom. Their tile work, carpentry and sheetrock work was some of the best that I have seen. I really enjoyed working with them, not only because of their meticulous, high quality workmanship, but also, because they really loved and took great pride in their work.
