Sea Pointe Design & Remodel

We just recently used Sea Pointe Design & Remodel and completed a six-month remodel of our entire home. A complete kitchen remodel that included the relocation of all kitchen appliances. All bathrooms, living room, dining room, bar area and laundry room etc. The project started with the design process. Our designer was Jacqueline Fortezzo, who was just incredible to work with. I can’t imagine any other designer in the entire industry that could possibly be better in their specific field than Jacqueline. She stayed with us from the design period until the completion of the project, including the final walkthrough. Jim Mathews was our project manager. Jim also did an incredible job. The communication between Jim and my wife and I was impeccable. Jim’s team was also a pleasure to have in our home, as they were all very polite and their craftsmanship was second to none. We can’t imagine the headache we would have had with such a large project if we did not choose Sea Pointe.

We feel incredibly fortunate to have partnered up with Sea Pointe for the remodel of our first home. The house had spent its past few years as an airbnb party house, so it was in pretty rough shape when it became ours. Luckily the SP team design team (Robert & Cynthia) weren't scared off by the grim conditions and helped us bring out the potential in the tiny but mighty property. Our contractor (Johnny) and his awesome crew (Roger, Jesse, Dane, & Eddie) really did incredible work and totally transformed the spaces we are now enjoying every day. They were kind, accommodating, professional, honest, and reliable throughout the entire process. This was so appreciated since these projects really are a large commitment and you spend a lot of time with the entire crew. They also kept the worksite incredibly clean, which was so helpful while we slowly moved our items and ourselves in. When it comes to a bathroom remodel project, the options around the design as well as the construction process can be overwhelming. We are so glad that we chose Sea Pointe Design and Remodel to finish our project and are truly impressed with the outcome of our bathroom remodel. After reviewing several companies that could remodel our bathroom my wife and I felt comfortable selecting Sea Pointe. And we are confident we made the best choice. Our project was completed a few weeks ago and the results are amazing. We are retired and saw the daily progress unfold. The quality of the work parallels the consistent professionalism of everyone on the team. Ben protected our house with floor and stair coverings as well as isolating the project to minimize dust. Jack and Pat’s talent in their trades was obvious as we observed the day to day progress. David modified one cabinet drawer to adjust to the plumbing after the cabinets were installed. He was very explanatory as to what he was going to do to fix the issue. I cannot stress enough that the Sea Pointe team is easy to work with and are concerned your project is exactly what you want. My wife and I cannot thank them enough.

We had a 1970's kitchen that needed help but we really wanted to keep our midcentury modern vibe. We were struggling with all of the different material possibilities, design choices and the daunting task of a project this big. We found Sea Pointe and the stress was immediately gone. Our kitchen project came out amazing - so happy!! From our design team (Robert & Cynthia) helping us bring our vision to life, to our project manager (Dane) for keeping it all on track, to Antonio's skilled tile work, to John G and Erik's talent with the cabinet install and carpentry to Eddie and Cristian pulling it all together - the team was friendly, professional and highly skilled. We are thrilled with the results of our remodel and exterior upgrades by Sea Pointe. Like most projects ours was not without hiccups, but Sea Pointe (Scott [SENSITIVE INFORMATION HIDDEN], design consultant and Ray [SENSITIVE INFORMATION HIDDEN], project manager) kept us updated and in the loop. Collin, Leo, Jorge, John, Erik, and Shane were all very professional and excellent craftsmen. At the end of our project we had virtually no punch list of incomplete or unacceptable items. We recently completed a remodel of our downstairs, including a complete gut of our kitchen, a remodel of the downstairs bathroom, a re-do of our fire place, and new cabinets in our family room. We also had our entire downstairs hard wood floors refinished. From start to finish, we could not have been happier with the result or with the services that we received from Sea Pointe. Our initial contact was with our designer, Jacqueline, who worked tirelessly with us to help bring our vision to life. She listened to what we wanted and made valuable suggestions. She continued working with us throughout our project to ensure that everything we wanted was done. Our project manager, Chris, made a major construction project seamless. Any time we had a question or a concern or a problem or there was an issue, Chris was immediately responsive and got the job done. All of the other people from Sea Pointe that worked in our home were unbelievably skilled and incredibly professional. We were particularly impressed with Danny and Caitlin, who went above and beyond. Everyone that we came into contact with from Sea Pointe were always friendly and courteous and made sure that our house was clean both inside and out each day. We wish we could give more than 5 stars for this review--I would recommend this company to anyone and plan on using them again for future projects. I recently worked with SeaPointe for the SECOND time and their work continues to be exceptional, professional and efficient. Carolyn was my designer, Dane was my project manager, and the team included Antonio, Cristian and Eddie. During the process of remodeling three bathrooms, this project was completed ahead of schedule and within budget. The result is beautiful and I could not be happier with the design and workmanship. As a repeat client, SeaPoint has once again exceeded my expectations!

Mike, Dane and the crew at Seapointe were beyond exceptional. Our kitchen remodel went so smoothly, and the results were exactly what we had in mind. Eddie was an especial standout, answering my questions and taking care of every little thing. John, the cabinet maker did an excellent job matching our existing cupboards, and making cupboards under the island. I would recommend them for their professionalism, promptness and communication.

We just completed a master bathroom and kitchen remodel. After seeing a friend's completed project, we knew we would be happy with Sea Pointe. Our design team, Cynthia and Robert immediately understood our vision, style, and needs. We were focused on having a design that would transition as we get older. We could always count on our Project Manager, Johnny to solve any issues that typically come up during construction. He constantly made sure everything was done correctly. His communications were timely and he was on site frequently, constantly monitoring progress. His team, Roger, Jesse, Dane, and Eddie were organized, efficient, and highly skilled. Sea Pointe made every step of our home remodel incredibly easy and efficient. Their team, from design to project management to the individual tradespeople in our home each day, was incredibly professional, courteous, and thoughtful. When we decided to overhaul our home completely, the initial decision on who would help us get through design and remodeling was difficult. Sea Pointe has validated our choice at every turn. For context, there wasn't an area of our home left unaffected by the remodel. We moved out of our home and put everything in Sea Pointe's hands. The design process with Cynthia and Robert was a complete pleasure. They helped narrow the overwhelming number of options into choices that fit our style. The design decisions we all collectively made reassured us going into the remodel phase. Dane, our project manager, and his team, Antonio, Cristian, and Eddie were easy to work with and fast to resolve challenges onsite. We were constantly updated on progress and what was coming next. Special recognition to John, Erik, and Shane who did the cabinet work in our kitchen and bathrooms. Also, Antonio for incredible tile work throughout our entire home. Note, we were sure that due to the size and obviousness of our remodel to our neighborhood we would be unpopular quickly but the Sea Pointe team was so polite and respectful that we heard nothing but approval and referral requests. Finally, as the ultimate sign of approval, we are looking forward to working with Sea Pointe again when we upgrade our garage and outdoor space. The quality of the work and the attention to detail in the design and onsite management make Sea Pointe our first choice and our strongest recommendation.

After 30 years in our home, we were very much in need of a kitchn remodel. We were told about Sea Pointe by friends and how happy they were with their whole home project experience. We were assigned Jacqueline Fortezzo to be our design consultant and we couldn't be more pleased. She was knowledgeable in all aspects of design, sensitive to our needs, communicative, and most helpful in choosing materials and finishes. So far, she has made this process seamless and are looking forward to the completed project.

We were looking for a full-service design and construction team for a home improvement project. We feel extremely fortunate that we found exactly that in Sea Pointe! We worked with Sea Pointe on converting a bonus living room into a home office/study and updating doors and windows throughout our house. We are absolutely thrilled with how the project turned out! Working with Sea Pointe was night and day from our prior remodeling experiences with hands off contractors. Everyone we worked with from Sea Pointe was fantastic, from design, to project management, and construction. Natalie and Aaron on the design side were a pleasure to work with and helped us figure out how to bring our vision to life every step of the way. They were creative and patient with us as the scope of our project changed multiple times during the planning phases. Once the design was completed, they seamlessly handed the project off to our Project Manager, Dane Shimp. Dane and his team of Antonio, Eddie, and Cristain were everything you could hope for in a construction remodeling team. They were hard working, professional, friendly, and clean. The construction work was well scheduled and planned in phases to contain the work and limit the disruption to our use of the remaining areas of the house. All unexpected occurrences were navigated in a thoughtful manner with various options presented and clear communication. One thing that really struck was that they regularly demonstrated that they truly cared about the quality of their work and the finished product. Dane was in regular communication throughout the project on scheduling, status, and updates. The entire team was committed to all finishing work once the project was nearing completion and ensuring we were completely satisfied with the final product. Needless the say we are very satisfied and would highly recommend Sea Pointe to anyone considering a design and remodel project! We know we will on all of our future projects.

We have done a number of home improvement projects over the years. In this case we renovated two bathrooms in our home. Our experience with Sea Pointe was among the best. From the start, we found everyone to be very professional. The design team of Cynthia and Robert offered good ideas and were mindful of managing the budget. The field team led by Project Manager Jim Matthews were punctual and a pleasure to work with. They took great care to protect our home from dust and any potential damage as our project was on two floors of our home. The quality of the work performed by Pat, David and Jack was top-notch. They were very good at soliciting our opinion on various aspects of the project so that things were done right the first time. Without hesitation, they addressed any issues that we saw as the work progressed. We were also impressed with Erik and Shane who did the cabinet work for our project. Sea Pointe also handled the permitting process and inspections with the city without a hitch. I think you will find Sea Pointe is not the least expensive option, but we felt the investment we made paid returns in quality, ease of conducting the project and getting the work done in a timely way. Above all, the people were worked with were professional and just nice people who were in our home every day for the time it took to complete the work. We would recommend Sea Pointe Construction to anyone considering a home construction project or renovation.

My husband and I recently completed a major remodel with SeaPointe and enthusiastically recommend this company. We needed to have our kitchen and master bath be accessible for someone using a wheelchair. Our original plan was to redo the kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Quickly we realized that we needed to do more. We took out walls and pillars, raised ceilings, remodeled the fireplace and installed new doors. Along the way we discovered that we needed to replace the drainpipes through out the house, as well as upgrading the electric panel. Our designer Robert was a miracle worker. He took our often half baked ideas about what we wanted and created a well thought out cohesive plan. The number of decisions that have to be made in a remodel of this size is daunting. Robert spaced out our design sessions so that we were never overwhelmed. We came to rely on his suggestions as he quickly understood what we were likely to prefer. He was there for us during the entire process which greatly reduced any anxiety we were feeling. Before construction began, the project was gotten started by our project planner Mike. Bryce did the site measurements and coordinated the electric panel upgrade. Jennie helped us select the many fixtures we needed especially lights and mirrors. The construction phase was was in the extremely capable hands of our project manager, Jim. Jim kept the project on track even with unexpected developments such as the drainpipe replacement requiring huge trenches thru the house and yard and the front door breaking and needing to be replaced. Neighbors commented that there was always someone working. That was Jim, shifting the schedule so any delays were minimal. Jim also improved our project with thoughtful suggestions such as moving the site of the electrical panel. He responded quickly to any questions or concerns and kept us informed of progress with weekly emails. Working with Jim was so easy, he smoothly took care of small problems before they grew larger. Erik, John and Shane did a great job of installing all of the cabinetry. 3 different heights in the kitchen, 2 in the master bath and cutouts for wheelchair access required many adjustments. They were done thoughtfully and well. John made the custom maple trim for our exhaust hood fit perfectly and look just as I wanted it. Jack, Pat and David were here so often and doing so much. It seemed like Jack was here every time we came by, always working hard. He took great care of us, making sure the entryway was accessible after the plumbing trenching was finished. the subcontractors SeaPointe used were excellent. The electricians, painters and plumbers were experienced and did qualify work. The attention to detail for installation of baseboards and tile was exceptional. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to use SeaPointe. It is a quality company with great employees, and they stand behind their work.

I just had my guest bathroom remodeled by Sea Pointe Construction and I was not disappointed. My husband and I are extremely happy with the result and our neighbors (through word of mouth) have been asking to see the “stunning” remodel. The remodel began with our Design Consultant, Jacqueline. She is a good listener and has a great mind for design. She walked my husband and I through the entire design process by listening to what we envisioned, helping us to select the beautiful accessories and answering questions as the project ensued. Jim, our project manager, was knowledgeable, available to us, and promptly answered our questions via text messages or phone calls. While it is never easy to have strangers in your home, every worker was skilled, professional, and kind. From demolition to clean-up, Pat was excellent and became a trusted friend. Jack did a phenomenal job as well and was one of the kindest professionals in the group. Erik and Shane arrived to install the bathroom cabinet despite the pouring rain and arrived with great attitudes and did a terrific job! This is the 2nd time my wife and I have used Sea Pointe (full kitchen remodel a few years ago and now a kitchen restoration job due to a pipe burst in our wall). We can't say enough good things about our experience with Sea Pointe. They come with our highest recommendation! Primary Bathroom remodel - Although the project is ongoing, working with Sea Pointe has been a pleasure. We hired Sea Pointe to remodel our primary bathroom, and we couldn't be happier. Given the fact that I travel for work, I appreciated the flexibility of Natalie and Aaron our designers and their ability to bring my fuzzy ideas into focus. Once the work got underway, Jim, Jack. Marcos, Patrick and the crew were exceptional, their workmanship, attention to detail and their respect of our space. I would like to give a special shout out to Patrick because of the attention to detail and care he took with his work. Overall, I would recommend Sea Pointe to anyone embarking in a remodel.

Choosing Sea Pointe for our kitchen remodel was one of the best decisions we've ever made. From our first meeting with Robert, our Designer, to the final walk through with Johnny, our Project Manager, everything was done in a most professional manner. They listened to us, offered their suggestions on how to make this happen and they did! They met our goals for project completion before the holidays. In fact the timeline given us at the start was 60-90 days and it was completed on day 90. Even our neighbors were impressed at how the project kept on schedule and with very little disruption in the neighborhood. All of the workers, Eddie, Jose, John and his cabinet crew Eric, Kaitlyn and Shane were awesome. All were courteous and expert in what they do. Eddie was here the most and always let us know his goal for the day and what was coming next. Johnny updated us weekly on the status of the project. Any concerns (of which we had very few) were addressed immediately to our satisfaction. The team also developed a rapport with our neighbors and kept everyone happy. Since we live across from the community mailboxes they saw quite a few of them! One neighbor stated "this is the first project that addressed noise, parking and clean-up and he has never seen a project done better from start to finish. If we did it all again it would definitely be Sea Pointe. They exceeded our expectations.

We engaged SeaPointe Design and Remodel to completely renovate four bathrooms and our kitchen. As a family with young kids we were looking for a professional and experienced company to handle the entire process from helping us pick out the materials to executing on the construction and remodel. What really stands out with SeaPointe are their people and processes. Every person we’ve had the opportunity to work with or talk to has been friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and respectful. Johnny Propst is our lead Project Manager. He is solution oriented and as always with construction, surprises arise, but he brings well thought out solutions. Johnny is straightforward and honest and unlike our past experiences with other contractors, he will tell you the truth not what you want to hear. we are so thankful to Johnny who stayed focused on our project and planned resources in advance to get the project as complete as possible before our baby was born. You can tell Johnny loves his job and makes it seem like it’s his own home he is working on. We’ve been lucky to work with other high quality SeaPointe staff - Roger, Dan, Jose, Dane, Brent and Antonio are always willing to lend a hand when we needed something. They have been team players and it felt like they care about the quality and timeline of the work. These are people I trust in my house and around my family and who care about the work they do. We are glad we decided to work with SeaPointe on our remodel and would highly recommend the entire team!

They say you get what you pay for, and so far, I’m very satisfied with the quality work and communication I have received from Sea Pointe! I am having a small guest bathroom completely remodeled and my fireplace is being redone, too. One thing I love is that Sea Pointe is a “one stop shop”. They take care of it all…permits, HOA communication, design, electrical, plumbing, etc. …which is what I really wanted. As a teacher, I have ZERO time during the day to coordinate any remodels, so this company has been the best choice for me. The staff has been a true pleasure to work with. James, Aaron, George, Randall, Adrian and Elias have shown the same respect for my home that they would have for their own home. I’m very pleased and excited to see the final products!

Over the past year, SeaPointe has redone my entire first floor—kitchen, living area and powder room, my master bath and second bathroom. It is all beautiful! Working with the SeaPointe team was a pleasure. They are professional, creative, responsive and great to work with. Janna, my designer, was key in the design and detail. Aaron and his team, especially George and Elias, kept things on schedule and made sure all done right. The whole team and contractors did a quality job on cabinetry, tile, flooring, etc. I highly recommend SeaPointe for any remodeling project.

22 years ago, Seapointe designed and built a new kitchen for us in our home. (And, five years later, two new bathrooms, a new deck, and a new powder-room.) We finally have to replace the SubZero refrigerator they originally installed, and we are working with their Warranty and Handyman service to get some new door panels to match the existing cabinetry. While planning for the new refrigerator, we have been reminded of how much we still like Seapointe’s original concept for the kitchen, and of how well the materials and installation have held up. The kitchen has seen some hard use, but the Omega cabinets look pretty much just like they did when they were installed. This is just to express our thanks for the great design and build Seapointe did so long ago. We have not done any major renovation since then, but we have recommended Seapointe to several of our friends, who are very happy with the work they had done. We’re not surprised.

From initial design meetings to final installation, the team at Sea Pointe did a great job bringing our 25-year old builder grade primary bath into the 2020's. Our designer, James, helped to interpret our modern coastal vision, and, with Jennie, guided us as we chose materials to bring that vision to life. Our project manager, Aaron, put together a talented team of craftsmen (George, Elias, Adrian and Randall) who stayed on schedule, were very respectful of our time and our personal space, and kept the workspace clean and tidy throughout. As with any remodeling project, there were a few minor glitches but those were dealt with quickly and professionally. We love our new bathroom!

This was our first ever remodel project which included a whole house remodel with the addition of a California Room that expanded our indoor space into an outdoor living and entertainment space. After consulting with a couple different remodel companies, we selected Sea Pointe. We were convinced Sea Pointe was a company capable of managing every aspect of our remodel project from concept to completion. We met with our design consultant, Scott Benz, and found, Scott to be easy to talk to, very personable, with a quick sense of humor that immediately got what we wanted. As we began working thorough our concept, Scott guided us through the 1,000s of details that come along with a major renovation like we were preparing to embark upon. His incredible design ideas along with his extensive expertise about materials, design elements and resource lists were a tremendous benefit to us as we decided what makes the most sense from a cost / benefit perspective. He was sensitive to our ideas while introducing us to other options to expand our design knowledge. He went above and beyond to make our vision materialize. Scott is an excellent communicator, and I am sure there could not have been a better consultant for us to work with. As we moved into the demolition and construction phase our Project Manager, Jim Matthews became the driving force of our project. Jim’s time management skills and knowledge of every detail of our job amazed us. He was up front and honest about issues that arose and offered suggestions to make our vision happen. We appreciated the fact that he offered enhancement suggestions, of the final design that significantly improved the outcome. (Just ask him about the knot-less cedar ceiling for the CA room.) His weekly updates were greatly appreciated and kept us in the know about what was going on that week and what we should expect the next week. We would also like to give a personal thank you to Pat, Marcos, Jack, John, Erik and Kaitlyn, our on-site crew, for their attention to detail. Our home is beautiful thanks to all your hard work. We were also impressed that whenever we visited, the site was neat, clean. We always received friendly greetings, and each of you were courteous and helpful even when we were interfering with your workspace. Lastly, we could not have finished the project without the help and hard work of Jennie Grafas and her researching and sourcing of all the fixtures and finishing hardware for our project. There was never a time she showed anything, but the upmost positive, professional attitude. We are extremely happy with how everything turned out. We are so ecstatic with our kitchen remodel from Sea Point Design & Remodel. Working with a company who takes care of you from the beginning to end was very important to us and they did not disappoint. We started the design process with James (Sensitive Information Hidden) who really listened to our needs and desires. He helped us choose great materials and gave advice in areas where we wanted to save money. He checked on us throughout the process and you can tell he really took pride in what he does and cared about our experience. Aaron (Sensitive Information Hidden) was our Project Manager who sent us weekly reports on what was completed and what to expect the following week. He was very accessible and fun to work with. We loved Elias who was the do-it-all, careful, amazing craftsman who really became a part of our family (our dogs loved greeting him each time he was here). George, Adrian and Randall were also great! They were easy to work with and fun. You can tell this group of people really like each other and enjoy what they do. They were very concerned that we were happy along the way, very clean and very professional. If you are thinking about any type of remodel, Sea Pointe Design & Remodel is the company for the job! We will be back and are 100% satisfied with not only the work but the experience!

We went to Sea Pointe for a home addition and remodel. They estimated $500k-$700k. We paid $4,100 for design and feasibility on 7/14/21. They then estimated $1.2 million and said without the addition, the project would go below the original estimate. So we removed it and paid $3,600 for design services on 8/20/21. They spent 6+ months struggling with a stairs remodel and offered options with estimates ranging from $300k-$750k, the high end required additions to the stairwell and garage. They said a stairwell couldn't fit to code. We got another opinion from a stairs specialist who told us it will fit as is. I researched the codes in Laguna Beach and showed Sea Pointe. They provided an option that required no additions. The estimate was $390k-$515k. They told us windows, floors, and paint (previously included) would be less expensive with folks who specialized in them. We followed their advice and removed them. On 3/10/22, we paid an engineering fee of $15,300. We also made a final payment of $5,500 for interior design, all told $28,500. On 9/21/22, Sea Pointe delivered a final agreement at over $1 million! We told them it was unacceptable. They said it went up for two reasons: inflation and because we're on a hill. Inflation may account for 10-20% (unlikely in 6 months), it doesn't account for more than doubling the high end of the estimate. Our home has always been on a hill, their whole team (who visited many times) knew this. On 10/17/22, we met with the VP of client relations. She was the first to acknowledge that the team messed up. So we ended the relationship. We reached out for a month requesting plans, engineering, and design which we paid $28,500 for. They said they only make plans for their construction. After several requests they insisted we sign a waiver to get the plans. The waiver told us we could not rely on any of their work, hold them responsible for it, and it couldn't be used for construction. We got a PDF but they stamped nothing, stood behind nothing, and marked “not for construction” on every page. We spoke to engineers and architects to draw up new plans. As we searched for an engineer, we learned Sea Pointe used a third-party engineer not an in-house one. We asked why they didn't tell us but they had no good answer and told the engineer he had to start from scratch. Sea Pointe said this is because there’s a paragraph in their contract that says: “Per Contractor State License Board, all designs and plans are for the exclusive use of Sea Pointe Construction and are not intended for use by 3rd parties.” This seemed irregular, so we reached out to the board and filed a complaint. The board found they had unlicensed folks signing contracts and this part of their contract was inappropriate and had to be changed. Buyer beware. Sea Pointe will give you low estimates to trick you into paying for engineering and design then more than double the price and say you don’t get any of the things that you paid for.

I am beyond happy with my decision to go with Sea Pointe for my master and guest bath remodel. Jenna came up with an incredibly beautiful design and walked me through the entire process when I did not even know where to start. Aaron, the project manager, has kept me posted every step of the way and has been so responsive throughout the entire process. Antonio’s tile work is superior - he is an artist! And George’s work has been immaculate with great attention to detail. Thank you also to Randall, Adrian, Elias and Christian. You have all been so professional and made this project go so smoothly. I will definitely be calling Sea Pointe again when I do my kitchen remodel!

This was the largest remodeling project we’ve done. We selected SeaPointe because they take care of just about everything: design, demolition, contracting, construction, building permits, haul-away, painting, and no doubt other things that were invisible to us. The project scope included a new kitchen, downstairs bath, and family room/fireplace. With all the options and normal communication challenges, design was difficult at times. Kudos to our designer (Lisa) and team for helping us realize our vision. Unlike other large investments, it's hard to see what you are buying beforehand. SeaPointe created simulated photographs of how things would turn out. Pictures of our new kitchen are darn close to those simulated ones. The SeaPointe field crew was great - courteous, skilled, communicative, and willing to patiently answer questions. They were reliable, coming on time and completing work on schedule. Seapointe found excellent contractors as well. Everyone involved with the project wanted us to be pleased with both the process and the end result. They worked with us every step of the way, mitigating the impact the project had on our daily lives. They all seemed to enjoy their labors. There were a few hiccups, where minor elements of design didn’t quite play out in implementation as expected, or things didn’t turn out exactly the way we wanted. This is normal for a project like this, and SeaPointe’s project manager (Johnny) and his team were willing and adept at addressing issues. We would like to acknowledge Jose, Adam, Eddie, Antonio, Dan, John, Erik, Kaitlyn, Shane and especially Roger for their good work. We are very happy with how it turned out as many of our former problems with the rooms were eliminated and our new spaces are now roomy and bright. Thanks SeaPointe!

We have had a very positive experience with the Design/Build team at Sea Pointe. They provide true “soup to nuts” service. Starting with the project designer, Robert Jobes, it has been easy to design and implement the project. His consultation with us in making decisions about overall architectural design and material selections has been extremely helpful. He has been consistently present and available throughout the entire process. Jennie Grafas was quite helpful with suggestions for plumbing and lighting fixtures. Aaron Grim has kept the work flowing expeditiously such that the rate of progress has been highly satisfactory. He has kept us well informed about work scheduling and has been highly accessible. Elias was particularly helpful during the initial phase of the project Involving initial set-up, demolition, framing, and most importantly multiple inspections. He was very pleasant to interact with. Overall, the implementation process has been efficient and well organized starting with management of on-site storage of materials and appliances. All the members of the Sea Pointe team and of the subcontracted teams have been polite and responsive. Each day’s work has been concluded with good clean up and site maintenance. Disturbance to our daily routine has been minimal. The demolition was done efficiently and waste was handled neatly and disposed of quickly. The dry wall team did excellent work. The electrical work has been great. The electrical team came up with an elegant and simple way to avoid additional dry wall work by employing “modern technology”, i.e., an RF device, to solve a problem with light switch location. The Surf City Tile company did an excellent job with the tile floor and backsplash installation. The work on the backsplash tiling in particular was excellent. Luis, Carlos, and Kevin did a great job and consulted with us as needed about decisions on tile layout. The wood floor installer did a nice job with the flooring In our living and dining rooms. The cabinetry team did a great job during multiple, staged visits. The subcontracted work on the countertops was done in a very timely way and the countertops look great.

My wife and I highly recommend Sea Pointe if you are considering a high-end kitchen remodel. Their designers, project manager and staff worked together to deliver a terrific outcome. Since most of the work is performed by their own employees, there is little reliance on subs. Our kitchen is beautiful and we are very happy we chose Sea Pointe for our kitchen remodel.

We used sea point for a master bath and powder room remodel. Their works showed up on time and worked hard throughout the days. The finish turned out great and any time we had comments, the team was quick to respond. Would definitely recommend them.

We collaborated with Sea Pointe on a gut/remodel of a 2200 sq. ft condo. It was a pleasure to work with Sea Pointe for many reasons, the first being a full complement of services: from concept to design to demolition to building. The second one is the people. Our project underwent multiple changes requiring robust flexibility and patience on the part of the designer Mike Hollander, and subsequently the project manager Jude York, both of which did an exceptional job throughout. Considering the fact we mostly participated in the process while living 1,700 miles away, it is a testament to the excellent communication we maintained with the company. Mike was great to work with as he really grasped our vision and helped develop it further. The team worked seamlessly together as Jude kept the project flowing with keen attention to detail, despite being in the middle of the pandemic. He has great people working with him - can't say enough about Adrian and Oswaldo, Roger and Jose, and Antonio - all true craftsmen that really take pride in their work. Of course, there are many whose names we don't remember, but whose fruits of labor we enjoy daily. In conclusion, we are confident that Sea Pointe was the only outfit, out of many we sized up for our large, challenging, and complex project, that could have done it, and done it so well! We are so happy with the whole remodel experience with SeaPoint. Our design consultant Scott was amazing. He was able to take our somewhat muddled ideas of what we wanted and translate them into tangible results. He found us beautiful ‘just released’ Italian tiles and a slab of beautiful quartzite that elevated the whole space. And the rest of the team were also top notch pros. Shout out to Ray the project manager, Colin, Brent and Cesar as well. Because of our positive experience, we have decided to start another project with Scott and hope to get the same group for the new venture.

I was very pleased with the results of my bathroom remodel. It was an extensive project that included the removal of a bathtub. The remodel and new shower turned out exactly how I envisioned it. James Bailey is an excellent designer. He made very good suggestions regarding the shower design, shower tile, sink, vanity, floor tile, sink fixtures and lighting options. It all came together beautifully. Aaron is a great project manager. I was provided with a written project timeline. Aaron kept me informed of any necessary changes to the schedule as well as delivery dates for materials. He was always available by phone and when on site, he took the time to answer my questions.. He was very knowledgeable about the project. He made sure the surrounding rooms, floors and furniture were well covered to avoid any dust. Aaron made frequent visits to monitor the progress. George’s workmanship was very good. He paid attention to detail and conferred with me to ensure everything was completed to my satisfaction. He was very neat and the work area was cleaned up each day. James, Aaron and George were very professional, friendly and great to work with. I would recommend Sea Pointe to others.

i located Sea Pointe Design & Remodel on the Houzz website! I had been considering a cosmetic update to my house for several years, had interviewed several contractors during this time, but, none instilled motivation to move forward until I read the Houzz encouraging review and then made an initial consultation with one of Sea Pointe’s team members, Scott Benz. After our initial introduction, I moved forward, confidently, hiring Sea Pointe to update my house. My enhancements entailed replacing my kitchen countertops, backsplash, range hood, repainting my kitchen island, refacing my fireplace, replacing bathroom vanities and updating master bath. Scott Benz, my Design Manager, was not only a gentleman, throughout, he assisted with excellent design suggestions with an always happy demeanor, constructive advice and wonderful sense of humor, as a bonus. I especially appreciated Scott attentively listening to my house vision, without insisting I alter my own design perception. Designers I interviewed preceding Scott were critical of my taste and not respectful. Scott was a breath of fresh air. He offered alternate suggestions from time to time, which were productive, helpful and gave me prudent second thoughts which changed my course for the better. Last, but, not least, Scott was always available to answer any questions and returned phone calls in a very timely fashion. Sean Ryan was my Project Manager. He instilled, from our first encounter, much competence and a strong work ethic, thereby insuring this project would be in good hands. Through my design enhancement, Sean monitored the progress, offered experienced and practical suggestions. Sean updated me when necessary. He was easy to reach and good at timely response. I especially am grateful for his invaluable input insuring my fireplace refacing was built to perfection. My design intention for this latter house enhancement was very specific. He respected this and oversaw its’ creation through completion. Both Jennie Grafas and Sally Shore sourced my fixtures and each so very pleasant and helpful selecting the aforementioned, always keeping my taste in mind and when necessary, offered their own excellent advice, which I gratefully heeded. I realize, as well, there are so many others who worked on my project I did not meet, except Christian, briefly, twice, who insured my house was orderly and clean at days end and expertly installed my new vanity light in master bath. I extend much gratitude to all Sea Pointe employees who dedicated their time towards my house facelift. Thank you all, so much!

We recently had a guest bath and cabinet project done by Sea Pointe. We are very happy with the work that was done! Our designer, Jenna, was really fun to work with and understood the look we were going for. She also helped us stay in budget while creating a beautiful space! Antonio does beautiful tile work – it is like having a piece of art in our house. The entire crew, Project Manager Johnny, Dan, Jose, Roger, and Antonio were polite, always willing to answer our questions, and were a pleasure to have in our house. They cleaned up the work area daily and made our project beautiful. The electrical and plumbing crews were also great. We would recommend Sea Pointe and look forward to working with them again on our next project.

Sea Pointe remodeled my master bathroom and I love it! The experience was great from initial design conversations to final sign-off. Everyone I worked with was pleasant and helpful. We met with a few contractors/teams to do our kitchen remodel. We chose Sea Pointe because they were so responsive, prepared, and professional. The over all project experience was very well executed! Janna was an excellent designer, we highly recommend her. She is extremely creative, very good at listening to our ideas and transforming those into the look we love. We were always informed of any schedule changes or delays (we were doing construction during covid so a lot of shipment issues were out of their control), updates to products, etc. Janna and team were always open to our input, conscious of our budget, and respectful of our home and family life while the project was happening. We love our new kitchen and living space and look forward to working with them again for our next project!

Sea Pointe Review I am delighted to provide a review of our experience with Sea Pointe. They performed a remodel of our Master Bathroom and I could not be happier with the result. First off, if you are contemplating a major project, you need to realize that 1) it will cost more than you intuitively think, and 2) it will take longer than you intuitively think. Given those facts, you at least want to get the most bang and best service for your investment of money and time. This is where Sea Point shines. From the outset they give you REALISTIC estimates of the total cost of the project and how long it will take. Then, they live within the cost estimate and the time estimate. When I did share concerns or questions about specific costs or temporal issues, everyone I engaged with was cheerful and responsive. What a pleasure. There are a few individuals I want to point out as being especially helpful: Our designer Mike was masterful at turning our aspirational and often mutually contradictory ideas into concrete ideas that managed to follow the physical laws of the universe. When we were unclear as to what we wanted, me delicately and skillfully eased us into decisions that we were comfortable with. Among the skilled craftsmen who spent time in our house, George, Brent, and Adrian stand out. Not only did they work to impeccable standards, they were pleasant, respectful, and personable to boot. Having people in your house for extended periods of time can be intrusive and stressful. Not so with any of the Sea Pointe workers, particularly these three. Finally, and most importantly, I want to commend the work of our project manager, Aaron. He inherited our project with the unplanned exit of his predecessor, and from our end the transition was seamless. Project manager is easily the most critical role, and Aaron excelled. He was ALWAYS responsive -- I never had to wait long for his reply. I truly felt that Aaron (and everyone at Sea Pointe for that matter) as committed to our satisfaction with every phase of the project and the finished result. I cannot recommend Sea Pointe highly enough.

We attended an informational evening sponsored by SeaPointe a few years ago and were impressed by their presentation. When we had an opportunity to remodel our 1960's home, we started by meeting with them. We were so happy with the plans they produced, we didn't look any farther for a contractor. We love our new home. I love to cook and entertain. Our new kitchen is large, open and has lots of windows for natural light and for great views. That's where I happily spend most of my time. While I did not learn the names of many of the workmen, they were all friendly, polite and professional. The workmanship was exceptional. Mike and Jude were always available by phone, text or email if we had questions or concerns. Jude sent us a weekly progress report in addition to a schedule for the upcoming week. Sea Pointe recently completed a major renovation of my home, including the moving of walls, construction of new bathrooms and more. The value of Sea Pointe is in the integration of design, construction and management. It was nice to be somewhat hands-off while Sea Point managed all of the various subcontractors and workers required to complete our project. The other wonderful part of working with Sea Pointe is the 5 year warranty on their work (hopefully I won't have to use this very much!). I got to observe several of Sea Pointe's best working on my home, including Jack, Marcos and Pat, who were all very professional and courteous, not to mention very good at what they do!

We’re at the halfway point in my master bathroom complete remodel project - absolutely amazing experience all-round. The design process was thrilling, I felt like a kid in a candy store selecting from the beautiful tiles in the showroom. Mike is a true partner in the design process, vastly knowledgeable, patient, a very good listener, and a joy to work with. Loved receiving the 3D mock-ups of what my future bathroom would look like. I appreciate the fact that even though my project is pretty small in scale compared to a lot of projects Seapointe undertakes, it was given the same level of attention and care as the big projects get. Renovations can be rocky. Jim Mathews, the Project Manager, works his magic to make sure it goes as smoothly as possible. He is straightforward, accessible, answers your questions and keeps his team on track. He is so well-informed and reassuring, it’s really soothing in the midst of all that decision making. Then there’s the on-site crew. Leo and Jack go above and beyond to do things right, to leave a clean worksite at the end of the day - and in a case like mine, where I’m living in the home while the work is going on, to create as little disruption as possible. They’re respectful of the neighbors, which is super important in a HOA situation. There’s attention to detail, there’s good communication - and a general understanding that we’re all working towards the same goal. I’m going to give you a specific example of how awesome Seapointe is. Before the on-site work began, I returned from being away for several weeks to water standing in my garage - the water heater started leaking while I was away. During the design process, we had already included the replacement of the water heater in the project, so thankfully it was already permitted. Getting home that evening after a very long flight and seeing the puddles and the soaked walls was awful. I left Mike a voicemail that evening, letting him know what happened. Jim was responding first thing in the morning, and he had his plumbing team with a brand new water heater on site by lunchtime. In less than 24 hours after I let them know about the issue, the water heater was replaced, the old leaky one hauled away, the work site cleaned up. Complete magic. I am immensely grateful to be working with the Seapointe team.

From start to finish, all of the staff at Sea Pointe Construction are top notch. My designer Allison Joyce was a great listener, really understood what I was trying to accomplish, helped narrow down the overwhelming number of choices, and was very knowledgeable. Project Manager, Johnny Propst, was very responsive and made sure everything happened on time and answered all my questions with patience. The rest of the crew is awesome and amazing. Tile wizard, Antonio, did a beautiful job on my shower, which was not an easy one. Roger was fantastic with my cabinets, and Dan, Adam, Leo were incredibly hard working with a ton of attention to detail. Everyone at Sea Pointe is a joy to work with. I have been very pleased with Sea Pointe Design and Remodel. Scott has been professional, accommodating, fun, happy, very helpful, pleasant and efficient, throughout. Sean, also, has been so reliably moving my project along, offering excellent suggestions and instills such competence. Both Scott and Sean have exceeded my expectations. We could not have picked a better company or team to tackle our first renovation. We gutted our kitchen, removed a wall and remodeled our powder room + laundry room. Our designers Natalie and Aaron listened to our ideas and what we wanted/needed as a family of 6. They gave us new ideas & SO MUCH STORAGE! They really just made the entire design process enjoyable and stress free. Our PM, Jim had great communication and really cared about our project, making sure we were happy with every choice, layout, etc. The crew who was with us from start- Dane our project coordinator, Cody, Jack, Marcos & Roger who were all attentive to detail and their hard work didn’t go unnoticed. They also left our house clean at the end of every day. The office staff, Sally, Michelle and Trent were quick to assist with any change order we wanted or billing questions we had. The process from beginning to end was very streamlined and we always knew what was going on or who would be at our house with the ap Sea Pointe uses. Being in the know was so important to us especially having 4 young kids. We feel so lucky to have found Sea Pointe & 100% would use them again.

Our remodel consisted of the kitchen and main bathroom. Carolyn Hall was our designer and she was fantastic, leading us through the entire project from design to completion. The results were stunning. The workers on the project were professional and efficient. Adrian was so very pleasant at all times and so very dependable. Most of the subcontractors were amazing, i.e., tile, plumbing electrical and slabwork.

SeaPointe has been great to work with. We were looking for a design and contractor one stop shop for our kitchen and home remodel. More importantly, we were looking for a team that would not only help us build our dream home, but one that would do so efficiently from a financial and timing perspective. My husband and I are longtime customers of SeaPointe and have once again been blessed to have SeaPointe working in our home. For this project, SeaPointe completed a beautiful built-in home office, guest bathroom/bedroom remodel, updated our hall closet storage for improved appearance and functionality, installed new baseboards, canned lights and better placed electrical outlets. They also installed new doors and hardware throughout the upstairs. I’d like to thank our entire project team including Carolyn Hall, Brent, Jack, Luke, Josh, David, Jimmy, Roger, Antonio, and Riley who are each creative, professional, and skilled at what they do. In 2020, Carolyn helped me to reconfigure our entire master bedroom space to design a beautiful master bedroom, exquisite spa like bathroom, and expanded closet space. So, with Carolyn as our designer I knew the design of the rest of our upstairs space would be fun and result in spaces that are special and beautiful. Her creativity, knowledge of space planning, material selection, and ability to understand customer needs resulted a stunning built in office space for my husband. We also now have a an elegant yet slightly whimsical guest bathroom because of a spectacular floor-to-ceiling mosaic tile that runs the length of the vanity wall. Thanks to Carolyn’s skill as a designer and the construction skill of the SeaPointe team our new office and guest bathroom/bathroom spaces exceed our expectations for beauty and function. Additionally, the construction team of Brent, Jack, Luke, Josh, David, Jimmy, Roger, Antonio, and Riley were hard working, skilled at their trades, and so courteous. They did a wonderful job of collaborating with other service installers to ensure that all cable and electrical outlets were properly placed within the office cabinetry, the bathroom, and the updated bedroom. They also coordinated their work with schedules for wood flooring installation and their recommended painters. We are very grateful for the work they have done.

It was truly a pleasure to work with the team at Sea Pointe Design. We hired Sea Pointe for not just one but two design build projects. We started our initial contact with Janna, the lead designer on our project. She listened to our needs/wants and was very attentive in helping us compile the design with the right material selection. Seapointe is a first rate Home renovation contractor. While we had other options, no one would own the process from design through construction. We didn’t go wrong as Seapointe was professional, timely, and communicative through the entire process. Jude was the best project manager we could of had and corrected things when they were wrong, took pride is his work and staff, and ultimately made our large expansion and renovation smooth from start to finish. Seeing Jude bring James’ design vision to life was inspiring as well and the end result became the talk of the neighborhood. Without James design approach and Jude’s guidance I don’t know if we would have been as happy. I had never so much as painted, when I made the decision to update my bathroom and bedroom. Enter Sea Pointe. A friend had recommended them and I saw the outstanding work done on her house. It has been an amazing experience and not as stressful as one might guess as there was support and explanation at every step. Aaron giving me weekly updates and always being available as the project manager made it seamless. Getting the permits, advising on specifics and having tribal knowledge made it an easy process for someone (me) who really had no idea of where to start. A special shout out to Eddie, Elias, Jose and George for being professional, respectful, and always willing to answer my question of "what are we doing today?". The plumber and electricians were also fabulous- they were the first wave and I never asked their names! And finally, Lisa as the designer who made a direct impact on this process and the final outcome. A wonderful mixture of listening (finding a place that used recycled glass to make hand blown light fixtures -as I am always earth conscious), challenging (suggesting things I did not know I needed and then explaining the rationale behind the suggestion when I was initially hesitant at which point I said- your are soooo correct), being a sounding board and steering in a direction that resulted in an amazingly beautiful outcome. People said it was going to be a trying time and it really just wasn't. Having Lisa and Aaron as focal points made the communication instant and consistent. The whole process makes me want to fix other things! Cannot do that quite yet, but when I can, I am calling Sea Pointe to get it done correctly, beautifully and professionally with the least amount of stress

We couldn’t be more pleased with our home remodel. Sea Pointe Construction is exceptional in every way! Prompted by a downstairs flood we decided to embark on a whole home remodel. Since we used Sea Pointe several years ago on a smaller project, we decided to contact them again. From the first meeting with Carolyn, our talented Designer, we knew Sea Pointe was the right choice. She listened to us, asked questions, and made expert suggestions. The design process was a true collaboration of our vision and her expertise. We used Seapointe to remodel our master bathroom and we are very happy with our experience. We had never remodeled before and everyone was so helpful during the entire process. Jenna was our designer and we loved her. She understood what we wanted and designed it exactly how we wanted it. All the materials she showed us fit into the aesthetic and price range that we were looking for. Seapointe didn’t begin the project until all our materials had arrived and were in the warehouse, which we appreciated because there wasn’t any lag time once the remodel began. Bryce was our project manager and he did a fantastic job. He was very organized, communicative, and detail oriented. We appreciated how he took care of everything and made sure the job ran efficiently. If a problem arose, he was on site almost immediately and made sure it was resolved quickly. The team who worked on our bathroom: Adrian, Roger, Jimmy, Cody, Antonio, and Rafael were talented and very good at their crafts. Everything turned out beautifully. Seapointe is not going to be your cheapest bid, but you are paying for high-quality work, craftsmanship, and materials. After a slow start and a few bumps in the road, our experience with Sea Pointe Construction was exceptional. I hired Seapointe to remodel my kitchen after struggling to pick the right materials on my own and coordinate vendors individually. It was seamless with the Seapointe team from day 1. Jenna was my designer and immediately understood the aesthetic I wanted. Her suggestions were on point. The install team (Robert, Antonio and Jorge) was very professional, respectful and detail oriented. Robert kept me informed every step of the way and was very responsive when I had questions. I plan to hire them again when I’m ready to remodel my master bath and powder room.

We recently finished a master bath remodel with Sea Pointe and are beyond impressed with the finished product. We highly recommend their services. They will not be your cheapest bid and likely your most expensive. However, the initial contract they provide is EXTREMELY detailed and they stick to it. Everything was done and charged exactly per the contract. With our prior projects, this often wasn’t the case as “surprises” were added to the cost along the way. Also, we leaned very heavily on our designer Janna throughout the process, and in the past that has of course been charged hourly by an independent designer and it WILL add up. With the high cost came very high expectations, and they were met in every way. The finished product is just stunning. The design is gorgeous and timeless (thank you Janna!). From Janna’s first visit to the project to see the site, she completely reimagined the space (the shower in particular) in a way we and a handful of other designers had not. Janna understood our rather expensive taste (so. much. marble.) but found us relatively cost effective ways to including that in the project while saving in other areas to make it all come together in our budget. The transition from Janna’s design phase to the construction phase under the expert eye of Jude was seamless and professional. Janna did not disappear! She was very accessible through the whole project with a quick email or text to answer questions before they became problems. Jude was our project manager and so incredibly capable, patient, noncomplaining, hardworking and just all-around good person. He always came up with a creative solution to issues that would arise, and always assured things were done with top-quality workmanship. We had one major issue with the shower tile which was caused by a faulty marble tile being shipped from the manufacturer. Jude, Janna and Sea Pointe addressed the issue and handled the matter with their tile supplier and had the entire shower replaced mostly at the tile manufacturer’s cost. We were extremely impressed with how Sea Pointe worked and put their name on the line to make things right. I can’t think of another contractor who would have gone to the lengths they did to fix the problem. While all the employees were hardworking and skilled, Antonio stands out as the best contractor we have every worked with. His skill with the tile layouts is honestly pure artistry. So, when we had to have the shower redone, we insisted it was done by none other than Antonio himself and he did not disappoint with the most beautiful shower. In addition to the skill of all of these employees, without exception they were all wonderful, good people that were a pleasure to have in our home. Antonio is always smiling and sang while he created his MASTERPIECE shower. We did find out that Sea Pointe takes care of their employees with full benefits and it shows. You will not regret hiring them.

Lisa was amazing helping us with our bedroom and bathroom room addition. She really listened to our vision and added thoughtful suggestions which showed her understanding of the scope of the project. Throughout Lisa’s support and attention to detail enabled us to finish in a timely manor and stay on budget. We love the final result!

Sean was our so called contractor he wouldn’t show up when he said he would workers broke things in my house the plumber argued with the inspector over how to route the plumbing and the inspector said “well I hope you are insured “ when plumber demanded to do things his way. When project was finished I had to call sea point back to fix sink. New plumber said original plumber put hoses to garbage disposal and dishwasher in reverse. Then I got cited by gas company because they attached wires to gas meter and they aren’t allowed to. They have refused to fix it. I have filed a complaint with the better business bureau and they refused to respond to them Don’t use this company they lie to you daily,

We hired Sea Pointe to remodel our kitchen, bathroom, bar area, laundry room, and to do some work in the family room as well. Embarking on such a large job was a first for us, but on our first morning in our new house a year ago we experienced a slab leak and much of the first floor had to be ripped out to re-pipe the house. Quite the introduction to California, right? We went through a long process of interviewing contractors and to our surprise, decided on Sea Pointe with no other good choices. It’s not that the Sea Pointe decision was surprising, but how could it be that having spoken to so many contractors, there were no others we trusted with this job? Well, with the others, they either lacked the experience, worked with lower quality products, or we just plain did not like or trust them. (There was the business owner/designer who at the height of Covid did not use a mask in his own showroom or even in our house!) Sea Pointe was a good decision for us. Carolyn, our designer, thought outside the box and came up with a workable and beautiful design for us. Robert, our construction manager, always kept me in the loop and let me know what to expect and when it would happen. He was caring and easy to deal with, understanding and helping me work through my anxiety about such a big project. And the workers were respectful and competent. Jorge did a great job installing appliances and on much of the finish work, and he did it with a smile. Jimmy always worked hard on whatever he was doing and like Jorge, made the effort to please me, which I appreciated. Hymie (not sure whether he worked for Sea Pointe or the drywall sub) worked harder than anybody I have seen in my life; really, this was someone whose work ethic was extraordinary. Overall, everyone who worked at my home made the effort to be quiet, respectful, and capable, as well as kind. I truly felt like my voice was being heard in this process. And my kitchen is drop dead gorgeous now. The rest is, too.

Lauren did fantastic job helping me pick out the new hardwood flooring, baseboards and door casings. I liked that Seapointe keeps to their time lines. After contacting many companies, architects, and other builders, we decided to work with Sea Pointe Construction, who completely rebuilt our house ten years ago. We were so pleased with the company and all the team members, and have had so many positive comments over the years on the details they executed and the professionalism with which they rebuilt our home. We often have people knock on our door and ask about specifics regarding the construction and the design. We recently needed to install grab bars and a new shower head/wand system in our master bathroom. We were concerned that our beautiful marble might get damaged or chipped during the installation, or possibly damaged in any way. Robert Hogg and his team assured us there would not be an issue, as they remembered the original construction in the shower and the bathroom from ten years ago. We worked with Sally Shore to select the new items, and she perfectly matched the new items with the ones we had selected ten years ago. Thank you Sally for being so diligent and helpful with the order, and keeping us advised on the shipment date. Once the ordered items came in, we were promptly notified by Robert, and a scheduled date for installation was made. On that day, Jorge arrived exactly on time, and we were so impressed with him, his professionalism, his knowledge, his expertise and his very polite attitude and demeanor. After Robert gave Jorge the specifics of the two projects to be accomplished, Jorge installed the three grab bars, new shower head and wand system, cleaned up the entire area, gave us instructions on how to use the system, and proceeded to our second project that was outside. When our home was rebuilt ten years ago, SeaPointe built a handrail outside the house with access steps on both sides. Over time, the wooden base of the handrail had begun to rot and decay. SeaPointe and Robert were able to find an even better option than ten years ago. The molding Robert found looks amazing, and the material nowadays will not decay and rot. Jorge removed the old trim, repainted the area, and reinstalled the new base trim. He did an outstanding job, cleaned up the entire area, and was agin so very professional. We are so grateful to SeaPointe and their team for continuing to take an interest in our home and projects. Thank you again, Robert, Sally, Jorge and all those who worked behind the scenes to get our repairs done perfectly, and at a very fair price.

We used Sea Pointe for a major remodel on the main floor of our home (kitchen, family room, office, dining room, living room, master bedroom and master bathroom). Unfortunately, thanks to COVID-19, the design and permit process took a little longer than what we had expected. We first reached out to Sea Pointe in August of 2020 and construction began at the end of January, 2021. By the first week of May, the project was 98% complete with the exception of a few punch-list items. As with any large construction project, there were hiccups along the way, however, Tanya (designer) and Jude (PM) diligently worked with us to iron out the kinks. Jude, was on-site almost every day and on Fridays would send us a recap of the week with a heads up on what was coming down the pike. The Sea Pointe crew including Adrian, Oswaldo, Jorge, Roger, Leo and of course the tile master, Antonio, were polite, professional and hard working. The subs for electrical, plumbing, counters and floor installation were good as well. If we had to do it again, we would pay more attention to the details of the design and would include an overall design for furniture layout. Also, Sea Pointe recommended Pirch for all of our appliances which ended up being a bit of a nightmare as Pirch’s customer service and response times were sorely lacking.

My beautiful kitchen remodel is now done, and I couldn't be more pleased. From Tanya, my fabulous designer, to Sean, my knowledgeable project manger, the remodel went smoothly and was finished before the promised time! Sean's team, Juan, David, Josh, Christian & Luke, were very professional and considerate of my home and time. They all had their specialties and were experts at their trades. Sean was in touch with me everyday to keep me abreast of the scheduling, which was greatly appreciated. Taylor, along with Tanya, came to my house to take pictures of the finished kitchen. Once again, I was greeted with friendliness and professionalism. I would highly recommend Sea Pointe Construction and will definitely use them for any future remodeling needs I have.

We are repeat Sea Pointe customers, certainly because of the superior workmanship and stunning results, but also because Sea Pointe treats us like family. Our designer, James Bailey, is a standout professional. Like he was during our first project in 2017, he was attentive, responsive, honest and instrumental in helping us select the ideal materials for our 2021 master bathroom remodel. We requested that project manager, Jim Mathews, oversee this remodel due to the care and competence he demonstrated in 2017. Jim was key to keeping the project organized and completed on time. He served in a quality control role and managed the remodel as if it was his own home. He kept us informed weekly on the progress and what we could expect for the coming days. Lastly, although it took many craftsmen to complete the remodel to whom we are thankful, we'd like to recognize Jack for all of his work. Be it framing, tile, floor or installations, he did it all. Jack is not only a true master craftsman and artist, he was a sincere and kind gentleman. Some remodel customers tolerate poor customer service in exchange for quality. With Sea Pointe, you don't have to make this compromise. We'll be back!

Sea Pointe construction remodeled our 20 year old kitchen about 6 months ago and we couldn't be happier. Our designer Janna did a great job start to finish with all the design work and coordination required to get the project done. Our project manager, Jim was amazing getting every aspect of the project completed with various contractors in and out over the 6 weeks we were out of our kitchen. Team leaders Ralph, Jack and Blane could not have been more professional while working in our home while we home schooled our children during a pandemic! Overall, can't emphasize enough how strongly we recommend their services, especially for a big complicated job.

SeaPointe did a fantastic remodel of our master bathroom in 2020 so we engaged them in 2021 to do our kitchen. Our designer Jenna did a terrific job of translating our vision and sketches into our dream kitchen. Jim, our project manager, brought that vision into beautiful actuality. He mapped out the project into a job plan that we could understand and follow along. He kept us up to date on any changes and listened to our comments and concerns. As this project was designed and built during COViD, glitches did occur which SeaPointe took care of to our satisfaction. We recently updated our kitchen, bathrooms and laundry room by Sea Pointe Construction. The remodeling was designed by Carolyn and the construction was supervised by Jude. They both are professional and very experienced; Carolyn always made sure that we had the best design and Jude was on top of any issues that we had. Jim Matthews is always prompt in returning calls. Seapointe is honest and fair and keeps to their time lines. Their prices are higher end but the payoff is in quality and service. Jack is an excellent tradesman and his quality of work, especially in texturing is outstanding. You cant tell there was a repair. I highly recommend Seapointe and their team.

If I could select more than 5 stars, I would! Our kitchen and bathroom remodel were not only painless but ended up exceeding our expectations. I work from home and seriously was not disturbed at all by the construction / remodel! Carolyn, our designer, was able to truly understand the aesthetic we wanted and presented us with gorgeous tile, countertop, cabinets, etc options. Everyone who steps into the kitchen says "wow, this is amazing". Jim, our project manager, executed flawlessly. I appreciated the calendar in the portal and his frequent text/call/in person project updates. His teams are not only expert craftsmen, but artist and magicians :-) . The whole team is very professional and thoughtful. Jack and Marcos did perfect plumbing (and much more), Ralph and Roger nailed the drywall and carpentry, and Luke's expert door work is stunning. I think I have told Carolyn and Jim that everything they've done is truly a gift. We will enjoy sharing our remodeled home with friends and family for years to come! PS. Sea Pointe Construction designed and built out our house remodel (kitchen and baths). Ken Grider helped us pull together a great design that worked within our budget. Jude York and his construction crew made it happen on time and on budget. Jude communicated well, was very pleasant to work with, worked quickly to address and resolve any questions or issues, and made sure that everything was done to our satisfaction. The work space was always left neat and tidy. Adrian and Oswaldo did a masterful job on our Omega cabinetry. Antonio is a real craftsman with tile. Roger did a great job with the siding and all the finish detail. Jorge also did a great job installing our plumbing fixtures, and both Jorge and Roger finished the drywall nicely. All in all it was a job well done and we are very happy with the result. We highly recommend Sea Pointe, Jude, and his team.

I highly recommend Sea Pointe Construction to anyone looking to do high quality customized upgrades or remodels to their home. This is our second time remodeling with Sea Pointe. This time we remodeled our kitchen, which suffered some water damage and had unsatisfying cabinetry from a "cookie cutter" home builder. Our process began with our lovely designer at Sea Pointe, Janna, who translated our ideas into actual computer renderings. These pictures allowed us to visualize what the different budget ranges would allow, and set the expectations for everyone. We are especially thankful to Janna for her patience in revising the budgets and triple-checking our material selection. She even brought goodies for our kids! We were expecting a baby, and she was so helpful in defining our constrained timeline, as well as giving us some motherly suggestions. When the day to demolish the old and kick-off the new project came, Jude was on top of the timing and scheduling of the different trades, in addition to communicating with us about what was happening and who would be showing up. Adrian and Oswaldo did an awesome job installing our custom made Omega cabinets, and they made sure they were square and opening and closing correctly. Antonio installed our glass tile back splash, and he made an impeccable job making sure they were level and flush with the surrounding elements. I am pretty handy at home, which made me believe the plumbing to be pretty straight forward at first. However, reinstalling the water filter under the sink was a challenge since our sink was designed with a marble apron that greatly decreased our under-sink space. Thanks to Jorge, my preferred water filter was able to fit. It took him a few tries and a lot of water leaks, but he got it just right in the end. Luke built our custom hood, which looks amazing and really pops out in our kitchen. It has black colored horizontal slats with a maple band, that adds character to an otherwise very bright white-colored kitchen. Brent and Roger did the final detailing, which gave our kitchen a very premium look. They filled nail holes and did a lot of major and minor touch ups. Raul did a great job removing and replacing our hardwood floors. This was a tougher job, since we only replaced the damaged pieces and not the whole space. We are very happy with our kitchen and with the workmanship of Sea Pointe. If you are looking for a company that cares about their quality of workmanship, want finishes that are a step above the average, and have a project that involves different trades, then Sea Pointe Construction is a top option. As an extra insight, we sold the first home we remodeled with Sea Pointe. This former home of ours had been rented out a few years, and there were no repairs needed when the time came to list it for sale. The custom cabinetry, countertops, and fixtures installed by Sea Pointe held up!

Start to finish this was the best remodel experience we've ever had. Our Sea Pointe team of Janna and Jude were the best combo of experienced pros possible. Janna Par's advice and direction was excellent throughout the design process. She responded with expertise and flexibility to every need and request we made without missing a step. Jude kept us informed with continued and timely updates throughout the entire project, and was always prepared with answers to all our questions. The crews involved in our project all did timely and exceptional work, I especially want to mention Kevin and Jimmy who did an outstanding job leveling our counter tops. The electrical work completed by Oswaldo and Arturo. The work done by Al on our counter tops nothing short of elegant. The overall job done by Jorge on our back splash, new floor and plumbing were outstanding, and finally the finishing touches done by Adrian and Roger were a perfect end to our project.

Decided on SeaPointe Construction for a kitchen remodel after a subpar experience with another contractor on a separate project. I feel incredibly lucky to have had Janna as the designer! She immediately identified my style, not sure how she does it, and created the most beautiful space. I have truly valued her attention to detail, knowledge and guidance during this process. Sean is the construction/project manager coordinating construction schedules, inspections and constantly checking in to ensure all is on track. He also checks in to just ensure I’m hanging in okay with all that’s going on in the house. The SeaPointe crew is also top notch. They are so friendly, polite, and even kind to my cat. If they say they will be at the house at 7:30 a.m. they are ringing the doorbell right on the dot! I remodeled three bathrooms, and after experiencing disappointment with the first two, I decided to try Sea Pointe Construction for my primary bathroom and was I ever happy about the decision. I could not ask for a more professional and efficient group of people. Lisa was the absolute best designer anyone one could ever ask for. She made the entire experience pleasant. A true designer has an eye for any type of decor whether it be contemporary, traditional or transitional, and Lisa has it all along with the best personality! Sea Pointe is so fortunate to have her. The construction crew was managed by Sean, who ran the project in a timely manor and followed though with all the details. I have very high standards and I must say the quality of work was perfection and the follow though was prompt and all my construction questions were taken care of. I just completed a remodel that included complete new flooring and windows throughout the home, a Kitchen refresh including new cabinets and redesign, a Master Bath remodel and redesign, a redesign of the stairway to open it up, and a solution for my home office that exceeded my expectations. The team members were great. Always showed up on time cleaned up each night and were very respectful of my home, my neighbors as well as being friendly and helpful. Mike and Sean who were the Designer and Project Manager were great. Both kept me up-dated on progress with photos and made great suggestions that improved the overall project end result. The other team members that I recall included Juan, Christian, Brent, Roger, Jorge , Oswaldo, Jimmy, Sally and Taylor. They all were great and made this - my first big project as smooth and easy as it could be and all this during a global pandemic!

We are all aware of the nightmare stories, so we decided to go with a design and build team. Our design time was extensive. Carolyn, our designer, spent endless hours working with us on our design as well as material selection. She listened to what we wanted and assisted us to design our home, not hers. Sea Pointe coordinated the electricians and structural builders to assess the design concept. This was very important to us and very reassuring when the project started. Every employee we met through Sea Pointe was so positive, knowledgeable, polite, respectful, and trustworthy. Jim, our Project Manager, had the ability to coordinate all the moving parts while keeping us informed at all time. Our project was always on time or ahead of schedule. After having SeaPointe remodel and enlarge our kitchen, we knew we wanted SeaPointe back to remodel our master bedroom and bathroom. Carolyn Hall, our designer, reconfigured our awkward space into a bathroom with a walk-in closet and a private entry from the bedroom to the bathroom. Thanks to Carolyn’s collaborative spirit and creativity our new bathroom exceeds our expectations for both beauty and function. Chris Jay, our production manager and project manager, is gifted at managing each stage of the project including materials and coordinating his construction crew so that there is no down time. He was responsive to questions we had and was terrific to problem solve with when we wanted a few tweaks during the installation. His crew: Jack, Luke, and Brent were hard working, skilled at their trades, and so courteous. We are very grateful for the work they have done and look forward to working with SeaPointe next year to complete our upstairs remodel.

I am very glad that I made a right choice to select Seapointe to do my Kitchen remolding project. Lisa Greiner is a very professional designer. She has a lot of great ideas, experience and taste. She worked very carefully to every detail. She came to the site quite often during the construction phase to communicate with me and the workers to accomplish the perfect design. Sean Ryan, the project manager, was very responsible for the project. He arranged the project schedule carefully, corrected the problems during the construction in time, and cleaned the kitchen at the end of the project.

If you are looking for a company to take you from start to finish,call Seapointe construction. We had an excellent experience with Aaron Golden our kitchen designer. He was professional, easy going and very knowledgeable. He returned calls,texts and emails promptly. There was never a time that we felt out to dry. The consultation process was easy and Seapointes construction contract is clear and easy to understand. The construction process was beyond expectations, When the remodel started it was non stop,continuous and on schedule. Our project was finished 2 weeks early. Seapointe work crews and sub contractors were always on time, professional and friendly. The quality of their work was outstanding. Jack is a tradesmen in many fields. His trouble shooting skills and commitment to doing it right was obvious from day one. Roger is a master at drywall and texturing. We had a lot of drywall work and we can not tell work was ever done. Dane is an excellent cabinet, molding and finish carpenter. His attention to detail was well noted. Ralph also a big help and tackled alot of the "less popular " work that needed to be done and done right. Finally Jim Matthews our project manager was simply outstanding. Calls,emails texts were answered promptly, often within 30 minutes or less. His coordination of the work was excellent as everyday crews were in and out, often overlapping.When issues arise as they do in any project, Seapointe did not whine or pass the buck, they fixed it period. I will certainly call Seapointe in the future for any remodeling work.

From the first moment of meeting our assigned Design Consultant, Mike Hollander, I was feeling positive vibes about what could be done to renovate our kitchen. Mike has the much needed listening attribute that made him hear every detail of what we were looking for in our kitchen. There was great communication by the organization, and the model renderings that we received gave us a complete picture of the end project. Their team of workers from Ryan, Jack, Dane, Ralph, Mike to name a few, conducted themselves with the utmost professionalism and respect for our home. They never left without cleaning up and were always available for any questions we might have. The sub-contractors that they used were also very professional and did a wonderful job with the electric and plumbing. We could not be happier with our kitchen, and would highly recommend this organization.

We did a complete, down to the bare floor and walls Kitchen remodel with Sea Pointe. It was the first time we have done this and they were there for us every step of the way...from the design phase with Tanya Poland to the construction phase with Jim Matthews the project leader. What we also like is the continued excellent service and accessibility. Jim and his crew continue to be available for questions and any other needs post the completion. In short, Sea Pointe exceeded every expectation we had for our home's first-floor (kitchen, dining, great room, powder room, den) project (the end result which is captured in the Projects section; 2017 Ladera Ranch-Kitchen Remodel; James Bailey). I was first introduced to Sea Pointe after getting an invitation in the mail to attend a presentation where the company and its services would be introduced. The presentation was informative, brief, and without pressure to pursue services. Friendly designers and staff were on-hand and answered questions. I made an appointment to meet a designer the following day and was paired with James Bailey, who treated me, but more importantly, my wife with the utmost respect, courtesy, and professionalism throughout the entire project. After agreeing to work with Sea Pointe, James remained our primary point of contact well into construction. Design, materials, budget, length of project (promised at nine weeks, etc.) were all explained at the onset and then weekly in detail as the project evolved. James was always available for my call or email, was very responsive, honest, and understood our needs. He gave us a professional referral for our new appliances, which was very convenient and was helpful to me as I wanted as much of a one-stop shopping experience as possible. The unending materials options for a remodel made my eyes spin, but James and my wife worked well together and bounced ideas off each other. James was always honest about what materials complemented others and when they did not. He NEVER tried to upsell us and was always respectful of our budget. Once demo and construction began, Jim Mathews was assigned as our personal project manager. Jim was exceptional, a true gentleman, and a complete and competent professional. The only snag in our entire project came not as a result of Sea Pointe but because of an uninformed county inspector who was unaware of the safety features of modern electrical outlets we selected for the kitchen. Jim put my mind at ease, respectfully educated the inspector, and ensured electrical passed inspection. Jim was physically onsite almost every day, was always communicative with me via calls/texts/emails, and oversaw his team of incredibly talented tradesmen, who were all employed by Sea Pointe; no subs. The tradesmen were polite, friendly, skilled, on-time, respectful of us and our property, and trustworthy. Jim and James quickly became our friends and took personal interest in how the remodel was progressing, as though it was their own home; truly exceptional customer service not easily found these days! The time period from demo to the end of project was exactly nine weeks, just as promised. The end result was simply stunning, as was our entire experience with Sea Pointe. We highly recommend Sea Pointe and although a customer is likely unable to select their project manager, if you do business with Sea Pointe and are assigned Jim Mathews, consider yourselves fortunate. If you are looking at a kitchen remodel, we wholeheartedly recommend James Bailey. Best regards on your project!

We wanted to remodel and update our kitchen for quite some time but didn’t because we weren’t sure who to call. While talking to a friend, she suggested Sea Pointe Construction. We contacted Sea Pointe for a consultation. Once Carolyn Hall, Sea Pointe Design Consultant, arrived and we began discussing what our dream kitchen would be like, I knew it was the perfect fit. She listened to what we wanted and shared her ideas and suggestions that proved she was a true professional with the talent and experience to take us through our project. From the first stages of the design, then the exceptional attention to detail, and all the way to the end she was there to guide us and suggest what would make our project what we were hoping for. We are so happy with the end result. Sometimes I stand in my new kitchen and can’t believe it’s mine and how much I love it! The others involved in the project were professional as well. Jim Mathews, our Project Manager, oversaw the actual construction. He was very organized and effectively communicated throughout the project. The hands-on Sea Pointe crew was conscientious, courteous and respectful. The subcontractors were all very capable and courteous as well. Throughout our project we felt there was a culture from all involved to please us and leave us with a kitchen that we will enjoy for many years to come; they succeeded. This review is long overdue! From start to finish SeaPointe Construction was fantastic through the entire process. And here we are a year later and they are quick to follow up with any hiccup we have. Lisa is extremely professional, organized, and talented in her designs. Chris is a high quality contractor and his crew are not only professional but pay close attention to every detail. The entire company care tremendously about not only the final product but the happiness of their customers. I cannot recommend them enough.

This was our third remodel project with Sea Pointe, and we, again, could not have been more pleased with the results. We totally remodeled three downstairs bathrooms and the results are absolutely stunning. The project was completed within budget and the original time parameters. Georgia Clarke was our primary design consultant and, along with Lauren did a fantastic job in helping us select the elements that enabled such a great result. Georgia was with us through every stage of the project to assure we were satisfied, and since I am a perfectionist, that is not an easy job. Her knowledge and recommendations during the design phase were invaluable. Lee Goade was our Project Manager, and along with his team of Jake and Keith, were a joy to work with, and they skillfully executed the design plan to perfection. They effectively managed the subcontractors and in the one instance when the work was not to my satisfaction, had the subcontractor redo it. I should also point out that when Sea Pointe uses subs, like the electrical work and mirrors, for example, they only use subs that they have long term relationships with. If you want the highest quality remodel from someone you can trust, go with Sea Pointe.

Hey, this was our second remodel project with Sea Pointe! No better recommendation than repeat business. Five years ago, we selected Sea Pointe to remodel our en suite and guest bathrooms. We were so pleased, Sea Pointe was our first call when it came time to tackle our kitchen and dining room space. Our project was a challenge: bring a ‘70s kitchen into the ‘teens. How could we eliminate a large soffit ceiling and take advantage of the lovely vault roof? Our designer, Carolyn Hall, understood our vision and created a kitchen/dining room space that captured it perfectly. She guided us enthusiastically, but gently through the process, helping us to realize our dream. Lee Goade was our Project Manager. You couldn’t find a more diligent and detailed PM. Lee and his team, led by Jake, worked efficiently and professionally, always considerate of our comfort, schedule and concerns. The subcontractors were polite, considerate and professional as well. Our project came in on time and on budget, which is almost as wonderful as is our new kitchen and dining room! Check out our before and afters below. You can’t go wrong with Sea Pointe!

We did an entire update of the interior of our home through Seapointe; new kitchen, bathrooms, floors, laundry room, lighting, windows and doors! Every detail was handled by Carolyn Hall, designer and Jim Mathews, project manager. Every planned update for your home is detailed room by room in a huge notebook they put together. We would stop by to check in but were hardly ever needed. Jack and all the guys did better work than original structure. Completed on schedule!

We are delighted with our complete remodel. We can hardly describe how much we love the result. It is gorgeous. The floors, the kitchen, the bathrooms, every piece is beautiful. The backsplash is still Lori’s favorite thing in the place, while Steve’s is simply the awesome ocean view when we walk in. Every aspect was well thought out, and is simple and elegant. Being in Chicago throughout the remodeling process was a little concerning for us, going into the project, but your level of upfront attention to every detail seemed tedious at first, but was much appreciated as we whizzed though most issues easily. Dealing with the stuff that came up- issues with the city, moving electrical and other surprises- was pretty uneventful, with your steady guidance. Also, helping us focus on how to deal with the changes kept us making good decisions. We don’t want to leave unsaid how our neighbors viewed your work. Living in a 16 unit condo building, we did not want to make enemies, or inconvenience anyone unnecessarily. Your team left 15 other families singing your praises... “so thoughtful, always clean, never a disruption, etc.” What a fantastic result. Andy they all come by continuously talking about how beautiful it is. Now we just get to enjoy, and we hope we get to do it a lot going forward. It really is a dreamhouse. Seriously, thanks SO MUCH. Just recently finished another remodel with Sea Pointe Construction and once again was very pleased with the outcome. This time, they remodeled our entire downstairs - kitchen, pantry, family room, powder bath and also and upstairs bath update. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Carolyn Hall, our designer. From start to finish, she remained the ultimate professional - she was first and foremost always responsive to our endless texts, emails and phone calls. She really made an effort to understand our wants and needs and keep it all within our budget. Wanting to update our home but not make it modern looking, I had some reservations about what types of materials that could be used to achieve the look and feel I had envisioned. Without really changing the footprint of our kitchen, she transformed the space into a showpiece of efficiency and style. The pantry she designed is amazing and almost my favorite place in the house now as everything is in its place and also visible - so much more space!!! It really shouldn't be hidden behind a door:) Our new family room entertainment/desk area is stunning and also so much more functional than the previous design. Carolyn also made our bathrooms look awesome with beautiful but not too trendy materials. Chris Jay, our project manager was also impressive and great to work with. We also appreciated his professionalism, patience and attention to detail. All of the Sea Pointe guys that worked on our project were really nice people and did great quality work. Sea Pointe Construction professionally orchestrated our whole-house remodeling project. Evident from the initial showroom interview with the owner, to the in-home meeting with our designer and project manager, we knew we were working with a very knowledgeable design and construction firm. The work quality, attention to detail and ability to solve problems astounded us. As construction jobs go, we had our share of setbacks. Sea Pointe met those issues head-on and resolved them all in due course. They never failed to return our calls and even provided occasional on the spot hand-holding when we needed it. The real remodeling story is complete with ups and downs. Without a doubt, I would pick Sea Pointe Construction again and I would also highly recommend them to my family, friends and co-workers.

She spent ample time with us discussing our wants and needs, then made suggestions to design the kitchen of our dreams. Carolyn got to know our likes and tastes, so when it came time to select materials such as cabinets, flooring and countertops, she was extremely helpful in showing and suggesting things that suited us. We could not be happier with the selections and outcome. Carolyn and SeaPointe Construction were extremely professional from start to finish, making good on everything that was promised and agreed upon. I would highly recommend SeaPointe and especially Carolyn.

My designer Carolyn Hall did a stellar job of helping design my dream bathroom! She listened carefully to my needs and then designed a luxury retreat that feels like a resort every time I walk in the door. I love the cohesive design and upscale materials she selected that give it that "WOW" factor! Her vision, guidance, and collaboration skills were invaluable for this project. I have already recommended her to my friends and family for their design construction projects.

The project was a kitchen remodeling. It started with a wonderful designer: Carolyn Hall. The first thing she did was to listen to us, our needs, wants, requirements, styles. She incorporated it all into her design, and was able to merge the needs of 2 different individuals. Carolyn was very flexible but yet helped us reign in our utopian requests to deliver a beautiful kitchen within our budget. The construction was done within a reasonable schedule. The design team and workers adapted to the many challenges an old house presented to them. We are totally enjoying our kitchen and making good use of it.

Extreme Makeover. you've see the television shows. This is the real life transformation of a tired 1964 Ranch home on El Niguel Golf course in Laguna Niguel being transformed into a Modern Santa Barbara Ranch style home. Carolyn Hall is my designer and Chris Jay is the project manager. I call them my power team. Couldn't ask for a more perfect match. Carolyn is extremely talented with design and knows what can be done and what cant. Chris' job to perform the transformation. He is talented and orchestrates all the trades and dealing with the city and inspections. A great makeover has to start with a great design and you need a organized project manager who can orchestrate the sequencing and timing. Without that the job will just sit stagnant. My project is running ahead of schedule because Chris is very organized in getting the trades on the job and organizing the entire project. Sea Pointe Construction also has the absolute best trades people who do quality work. All the details are attended to and I am extremely please with my entire team. Do your due diligence and call there reference like I did and you will hear the same theme throughout. They are a extremely quality driven Construction Company. They have been a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend them. My total kitchen remodel experience with Sea Pointe Construction was absolutely fantastic! I came in with an idea and Carolyn Hall, my design consultant, led me to my dream kitchen. Everyone who came to my home starting with Joe, my project manager, to all the workers were extremely professional and really nice people! 2008: Kitchen and family room remodel, complete demo, changed cooktop from electric to gas, new floors, cabinets, etc. 2011: Remodelled and modernized three bathrooms. Seapoint personnel are top flight as are their subcontractors. Communicated well with us and have stood behind all work and materials. Provided design work on both projects.

I had a very positive experience with Sea Pointe. I love the kitchen that Carolyn designed for me. It's really me! There were delays...that was the biggest issue, but I hear that's normal, and when I got hysterical, tired of serving my kids from the fridge in the hallway and eating out, Carolyn talked me down. It was worth the wait. I love everything in the kitchen. Someone wrote about added costs and yes, there was some confusion about the quarter rounds on the flooring (whose responsibility: floor guys or sea pointe?) but Carolyn basically said, "I'll take care of it." And they showed up. Done. Oh, and she even came over another time with drawer organizers for me. Thanks! Overall, I came in under the first estimate. The electrician went the extra mile for me too. He fixed something that wasn't to code in another part of the house, while I was out no less. It was the BEST surprise. Randy was on the ball. Jake was fabulous. (Thanks for hanging my painting!) Worked with SeaPointe for my kitchen remodel. They did an incredible job. Charlie from the design team was amazing. I never felt rushed or pressured. He took his time to learn what I liked and made suggestions that were spot on. Len was the project manager. Him and his team were very professional. All deadlines were met. Excellent communicators. We created the budget before the start of the project and had very little variance at the end - no surprises. I highly recommend SeaPointe.

I would (highly) not recommend SeaPointe Construction out of Irvine, California. Seapointe and our designer have spent 6 months trying to prepare plans within the budget they estimated. They took our money but were unable to stand up to their end of the written design agreement. However, Seapointe still has our money, even after repeated written requests for a refund. I wasn't aware companies could take your money but not provide an agreed upon service. We first met on January 4, 2014 at our home as our goal was to place an addition on our home. This included expanding our main living area, knocking out a closet, putting in a new closet, and moving our washer and dryer. Based on a design agreement with a written low and high estimate, we paid 10% to get our project started. Now we are in July of 2014 (6 months later) and SeaPoint is unable to complete our project within their budget. They have not even started our project. Lisa's emails contain wording such as "my sincere apologies" and has repeatedly stated via phone this is her mistake in the estimate. We have made several suggestions, such as applying our deposit to part of the proposed job or revising the initial project. For months now I receive emails stating "let me get back with you next week" and reports the project manager \who was assigned to our project is no longer working with Seapointe. Seapointe is unable to come even close to their projected estimate or uphold their end of the agreement. Unfortunately, SeaPointe is refusing to give us a full refund. In fact, we have not been refunded any money to this date and are at this time seeking legal counsel for a resolution. My recommendation is you do not do business with this company, as they have taken our money and not started our project. See "yelp" as another customer reports a similar experience.

Can recommend Sea Pointe w/reservation. The end result was just what I wanted...getting there was somewhat of a financial surprise. Originally, I asked that the master bath remodel be consistent w/other (3) bathrooms (Siematic cabinets, imported Spanish tile). Two walls were taken down to studs and shower stall removed. I had assumed new shower doors were included since shower was torn out and this was a remodel...it did not (+$ for glass doors). (What average home owner would know that shower doors are considered "fixtures" & "fixtures" were not included in Sea Pointe's estimate.) I had assumed that my baseboards would be tile (consistent w/my other bathrooms, as originally requested). Specific baseboard material not identified in estimate (+$ for baseboard tile). Bottom line...stand in front of your wall and identify each and every detail and make sure it is specified in Sea Pointe's est.
