(material only) Medieval SPC Floors start at $2.99 per sq. ft. (materials only) 100% Wool Carpets start at $1.99 per sq. ft. Back for more! This is my second job with Michael in the last 8 months. The prior was for a Rental, where I installed wall to wall carpet and new kitchen flooring. It turned out great and so I didn't even bother looking around when I made the leap to carpet 3 bedrooms in my home. I'm super pleased with the product (a wool carpet) and the service once again was top notch. Michael came to my house twice to address concerns prior to the installation. His team did an amazing job installing carpet and new base boards. It's hard to find this kind of service these days - but Michael is still delivering. He takes great care to pick quality products, he is not a box store, he is the real thing. I highly highly recommend!

This is the second, VERY satisfied time I've worked with Michael and his crew of experts at Beau Monde Fine Floors in Belmont CA. The first time I met Michael, I was impressed with his extensive knowledge of flooring, and his immense attention to detail that he and his installer put into replacing my water damaged floor in the kitchen and family room. When it was time to replace my worn carpeting, Michael was at the top of my list for quotes on the job. As I should have expected, he not only had more knowledge and insights about the flooring I wanted, but also came in at an affordable price that matched the pricing from a local carpet firm with lower quality carpet selections. The three person team who came to do the job were clearly professionals. They quickly assessed what they needed to do, moved heavy furniture around, ripped up the old carpet/pad and efficiently, neatly and beautifully installed the new flooring with great attention to detail with the baseboard (complicated due to the many odd corners in my home). From start to finish, they were effective, hardworking and got the entire job done in just two days! Plus wherever the carpet transitioned to the Amtico flooring (also installed by Michael's team), he personally made me a custom matched wooden transition strip stained to match the look and color of the material. Who else delivers that kind of personal service? If you are looking for quality flooring, expert knowledge and installation plus an attention to detail you don't often see in today's world, make Beau Monde your first stop. I couldn't recommend anyone more highly!

Michael at Beau Monde flooring is a gem. He is exceptionally knowledgeable, accommodating, and listens to understand your needs/desires/constraints. He is also a customer oriented problem solver. Project 1: We just did a large house in new neutral nylon carpet. It turned out beautifully. Part of the house had carpet that was only 4 years old that had some dark marks the cleaner couldn't get out. Instead of telling us to replace, he gave us tips on how to clean it/and the technique to use. Magically-it worked! He could have told us to replace it all, but he was trying to save us money too. This is what sets Michael apart from other flooring people. Project 2 (different house-see before and after photo): We needed a new floor that was clean and easy to maintain, desired that it be beautiful and functional, and were constrained by our budget and quick timeline. His company installed a gorgeous new Amtico floor (we chose a wood-look) and new nylon carpet. I appreciate that you can reach him personally if you have a question or problem, his installers are top notch- clean, polite, good at what they do, he is an Amtico expert- he was the authorized installer recommended to me from the manufacturer of Amtico for our SF Bay Area, he has a showroom- you can look at/touch/borrow samples, and he cares about the success of your project- he worked well with other contractors, and processed change orders quickly so we could meet our timeline. He is honest -did not try to always upsell, but gave his opinion on what was worth doing and what was OK to leave alone. Everyone who walks into the house finds the new flooring beautiful. Overall, we had a fantastic experience with Beau Monde Flooring.
