*Authorized Dealer of Shaw Floors*
Cal and Son Carpet Corp. was established in 1975 by Florencio Calderon and his wife Zurina Calderon. "Cal", short for Calderon, began by selling carpet in the mornings and installing carpet in the evenings and weekends. As business grew, Cal retired from installing and concentrated on sales and management.
In 1980, Cal and Son Carpet Corp. began construction on its new facility 2 blocks down the street from its original rented location. At this point Cal’s son Alex began working with the family weekends and occasionally after school.
In 1992, Cal and Son Carpet Corp. began construction on its current location, 6 blocks up the same street. The new location afforded the company a larger warehouse for more inventory and a larger showroom for a greater offering of products. Alex joined his father full-time in running the business.
Today, Cal and Son Carpet offers a wide range of products including wide plank flooring, reclaimed hardwood and river-recovered hardwoods, waterproof vinyl laminate, commercial carpet tiles, residential carpets and rugs, natural fiber sisals and seagrasses, window treatments and much more.
With over 42 years of experience, a company owned facility, and management with a personal commitment to customer satisfaction, you can expect the very best.
