We are so happy with our kitchen floors. We bought Sumter Stone vinyl from Lowe's and it is gorgeous. I just look at it and smile. Easy to install and looks great.

I received great customer service. I emailed last night with questions on installing the stair nose with my flooring and had a response back this morning. The response lead me to another question and I received a quick, to the point, response within an hour or so!! I like the Smartcore Ultra flooring and the customer service has been a nice addition to the installation of the product.
Pam Beaver was excellent. I was having trouble submitting my warranty registration of my new carpet from Shaw. I am elderly and not good with computer. She helped and even entered my information and then sent me all the information on care of my new carpet. Thank you for having her on your staff.
After spending several weeks looking for flooring for our master bedroom, my wife and I found a beautiful engineered hardwood from Shaw. It was the Shaw Floors Epic Hardwood SEQUOIA 6 3/8 (Style SW545). We brought home a sample board from a local supplier and we absolutely loved how it looked. We ordered the material on line and after picking it up from the Shaw distribution center we found that it looked very different from the sample board, brochure and online gallery. The planks on the sample board have a large radius (pillowed edge) on ALL edges including the ends. What we received have a radius that's half the size on the long edges and the ends have a very small, ROUGH beveled edge. it is not pillowed per all their documents and samples. What we received also looks to have a higher sheen than the sample and galleries. Our supplier has been great to work with and when we contacted them concerning these issues and sent them photos, they completely agreed with us that the floor looked different and contacted their Shaw rep. The rep didn't give us the courtesy of any explanation and said to just file a claim. Our supplier filed a claim and they just offered us or money back. Again, no explanation, no apology, just here's your money back. They didn't care that we spent a considerable amount of time picking it flooring, picking it up, unloading it and going through all the boxes PER THEIR ONLINE INSTRUCTIONS. Now we have a return authorization that says they do not accept open boxes after their instructions online say that we need to check ALL material for damage or defects. How do you do that without opening boxes? We are very unhappy with our experience with Shaw.
The cork underlay developed mold on both sides of the cork. I sought assistance from Shaw Corp. via the retailer who sold and laid the flooring, including the cork underlay. I was put off for weeks, finally told by the retailer, Kimball's Furniture, Shallotte, NC, that Shaw sent the sample to the wrong lab. Then I was told, by the retailer, that Shaw claims there is no recourse since the rep was unable to see the full extent. I had to move out based on health endangerment and have the mold, mitigated! I had carried a cork sample showing the mold on BOTH sides, in a sealed plastic bag to the retailer to deliver to Shaw, as per the retailer's instructions to me! The retailer, Kimball's Furniture, Shallotte, NC, stated SHAW is at fault for the length of no response time due to the lab mix up. Kimball's refuses to compensate me. This is VERY POOR customer service, and obviously a REFUSAL OF RESPONSIBILITY, in view of mold development on SHAW products! I had purchased Reims Oak, Cortec One, which requires an underlayment of cork, per Kimball's Furniture, who is a Shaw retailer, and Shaw Flooring! The flooring was down approximately 6 MONTHS! Such lack of responsibility by both, the retailer & SHAW Corp. is nothing short of PATHETIC! UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER
We had a major water leak in our kitchen which made us look at waterproof flooring to replace the damaged wood. We had Endura Umber Oak installed through the entire house and closets! WE LOVE IT!!! It looks like real scraped wood and by far the easiest to clean. It feels great on bare feet and we are just thrilled!! If you are looking for a beautiful product that looks like wood but is waterproof make sure you check out this product!!! We love it!!
I sent a text to verify if a Shaw floor I was installing in a home at the river in California's extremely hot summers needed to be in a climate controlled enviorment. I got my answer back quickly and explained very well.
I have watched many videos of Shaw’s pet carpet and I purchased my carpet before watching the videos but they videos lie. I have had my carpet almost 3 years and it looks worse than the 20 year old carpet that I pulled out. I have had my carpet professionally cleaned about 6 times all ready because if liquid gets on the carpet it soaks in right away it does not sit on top like it did when I first purchased, after about 6 months later the liquid did not sit on top to give you time to clean it up. I have called the sales people that sold me the carpet and I also called Shaw and neither will do anything about it. All this carpet does it keeps it from supposedly soaking into the pad but you don’t know if that is true because you don’t see the pad unless you pull up your carpet. I was told it would not show wear or stains. This carpet and their representatives are horrible.
