Viki's design solution to the difficult structural and spatial constraints of our narrow turn of the century house proved to be both innovative and stunning and, most importantly for my husband and sons, completely reflective of our personalities and lifestyle. The open shelving, bleached, reclaimed ash flooring and drawers, floor-to-ceiling shaker-style cabinetry, and subtly textured backsplash give the kitchen a rustic elegance. Replacing a bulky island with a contemporary steel-legged harvest table opened up the space both visually and practically, and created an inviting family gathering spot for games and homework. Visitors to the house are always struck by the clean, uncluttered lines, and the undeniable charm of a kitchen that is warm, sophisticated and completely unique.

Absolutely Inc has designed and and overseen two large renovation projects for me over the last two years. The first is a large two storey addition to an existing home with 2 spacious, contemporary bedrooms, sitting area and two ensuite bathrooms in the beautiful town of Aurora. The addition integrates seamlessly with the original home, is well proportioned, and the ground storey has some subtle elements to assist an elderly occupant. The second project is an annex Victorian upgrade. Viki and her assistant Alex not only redesigned the second floor to double the 2 bathroom sizes with minimal encroachment of space but totally redesigned the kitchen adding a small downstairs powder room. Viki guided the choice of fixtures, flooring, tiles, appliances etc with diplomacy, unerring taste and an eye on the bottom line. The process was very efficient as Viki has years of experience dealing with the various distributors. She has also given good advise about the gardens. Viki is fair in her billing, extremely organized, pushes for a timely finish and is extremely professional and pleasant. Working with her takes the stress out of renovation and the results are beautiful, reflecting the latest is design and decor.
