Marie was very helpful, even sending us colour sample pictures via text to get a more accurate colour vision. From choosing, ordering a custom size and to delivery, everything went smoothly. My lovely solid maple Tangent storage bed was delivered last Thursday afternoon. Darrin and Chris were great, no fuss, no muss and the bed was assembled in no time flat. They took away the mattress, boxspring and metal frame, as requested at purchase time, for a reasonable fee. My daughter and I had visited the Vancouver showroom on W 10th at the end of October. Maria took so much time with us explaining how the frame could be customized: I wanted the headboard a little lower, with some of it open to the wall behind it, rather than solid wood right to the top. Nothing was too much trouble for Maria. Then she showed us the different wood stains I could choose. Personalized service throughout. Several times later, I emailed questions to her; her answers were prompt and detailed. As promised, the bed was delivered a week ago, early February, as promised. The Coquitlam store keeping me informed on a regular basis of the ETA. I was provided with the contact for the delivery men and they also gave me a window of time for next day’s delivery, then called when they were within 45 minutes of arriving. I am so happy with the design of the bed, the professional finish on the wood. It suits my bedroom perfectly. The four drawers operate smoothly and provide good storage. After seeing the mattress in the showroom, I had decided to order it, too. It is amazingly comfortable and the total height when on the frame is very manageable for my 5 ft. 2 in. size. Such professional service from beginning to end.

I cannot say enough about Maria and how helpful she was in helping me choosing the right furniture for my new apartment on Bowen. The cubic bed with blush pink velvet headboard, customized barcelona writing desk with biscaro chair and mosso lamp were perfect choices for a small place. Each piece is well made and sturdy without forfeiting style. Pickup of the items was hassle free and well packaged for the truck/ferry journey. I like to support local business as much as I can and this Lower Mainland-based business did not disappoint. Highly recommended.

We wanted to replace some well-loved furniture and also wanted to support a local Vancouver, independent, small business during the COVID-19 hardship. Our online research for a local businesses with positive, genuine reviews led us to visit Creative Home Furnishings, Vancouver. There we met Maria who was very personable and helpful in providing honest product information for our consideration. She never applied any high-pressure sales tactics. We live in a house built with many unconventional, angular features and needed custom sizing for our entire purchase. In total, we purchased a dining table, a chef’s stand, a bench, two bespoke storage units and two bespoke bookshelves in her beautiful Tangent design, plus four Harvard dining chairs. We were proud that all pieces would be made in Canada from Canadian wood, and that a local B.C. craftsman would be handcrafting all but the four chairs, sourced from Ontario. Maria worked with us over multiple design drafts based on the extraordinary dimensions of our rooms and didn’t commit to manufacturing until we were completely satisfied. She even suggested that the shelves of our odd sized units maintain visual, horizontal uniformity in a room with a sloped ceiling to add balance to an otherwise peculiar space. Every piece is solidly built with quality wood. They are artfully crafted and will be cherished long into our future. We are 100% satisfied and are already thinking of our next with Creative Home Furnishings.

Over the years, I've purchased several pieces of wood furniture from Creative Home Furnishings. Every single piece- each one- has held up beautifully through the years, despite the wear and tear one can expect with a young family and pets. The workmanship is excellent, the materials high quality, and the service impeccable. The prices may seem a bit steep- but remember, this is furniture that will last and is beautiful. In the long run this store's furniture has proven much more cost-effective for me than cheaper things I've bought (and which broke). Our most recent experience was during this pandemic. I was touched and surprised to note that their hallmark customer care was unchanged, even though the times are hard! I wanted a very specialized desk made, and received very sound advice and counsel. She helped me find the most economical solution for my needs, whilst still being a beautiful piece of furniture. My son wanted a bed, and the salesperson was super-kind with him as well. She helped him select a style, size and stain - all over the phone. We received our furniture last week and absolutely love it. There are a few gems in the Lower Mainland when it comes to small businesses, and this is one of them. Highly recommended.

We purchased from Creative Home Furnishings a custom made dining table and are very satisfied with it. Excellent service and quality.

Creative Home Furnishings were great to work with. We liked the nice clean lines of the LA bedroom set in slate. We opted for custom floating nightstands in lieu of the full headboard and the simple modern look was just what we were looking for. Ingrid was very good about arranging delivery and the gentlemen who did the setup were very efficient. The quality of the bed, night tables and dresser are excellent and we are enjoying them very much!

Everyone at Creative Home, from Maria to the delivery guys, were professional and courteous and the assembly instructions were so simple and easy to follow that I put it together in minutes with a single screwdriver. The product is of the highest quality in terms of materials and craftsmanship and I look forward to returning for any future furniture needs I have, especially since customization can be incorporated so easily. I have dealt with furniture makers professionally for over 25 years and can unequivocally recommend Creative Home and Maria amongst the best!

We found a lovely dining room set and bar stools to complete our kitchen renovation. Custom ordering is available with a wide selection of material to choose from and some products can be custom sized as well.

Creative Home Furnishings offers high quality cabinetry made locally in the Lower Mainland. I am very pleased with the cabinetry (custom and standard design bookcases) that I purchased through Creative Home (all made out of Western Maple). Staff at the store was very helpful throughout the selection and purchasing process.
