We hired Ken and Kelly for a major project: convert our unfinished 1883 Victorian-row house attic into additional living space. It was a huge project and the result is spectacular. Ken and Kelly are consumate professionals, who make you their #1 priorty. Ken's excellent skills and attention to detail will not disappoint! The work site was always impeccably clean and tidy and the end of each day and when the work proceeded to the interior, the entire team respected our space and approached their work with great care. Kelly maintained regular communication with us throughout the project, and was always available for additional questions or clarifications. Ken and Kelly take enormous pride in their business. They are truly two of the kindest, most ethical people, and this shines through in the work they do.

AARL gutted and renovated our bathroom and converted a bedroom into a library with floor-to-ceiling bookcases earlier this year. We were very pleased with their advice regarding the renovation and the finished product. Both Ken (contractor) and Kelly (office manager) were very likeable and responsive both by phone and email. The work was finished on time. All the tradespeople that Ken arranged to do the tiling, electricity, plumbing, etc were excellent. We highly recommend AARL.

We used All Angles Renovations for our main bathroom renovation. Kelly and Ken were wonderful to work with and very patient with us. We hired All Angles to renovate a basement bathroom that had been poorly done by an earlier contractor over a decade ago. We had previously worked with All Angles in 2017/2018 on a major renovation on two floors of our house. We really like how Ken and Kelly come up with innovative ideas and suggestions and we're always impressed by the care they take in managing the job and keeping us apprised of the progress. We feel very happy to have worked with All Angles to complete our home renovation project. After a disastrous experience with another contractor, we were lucky to have All Angles step in to fix the many deficiencies and issues in our project. Once All Angles was on the job, we finally had the opportunity to say things such as “ that looks great” or “that is exactly how we wanted it”. All Angles definitely includes you as a partner in the work and rely on you to share what it is you are looking for. Ken and Kelly are quite simply the best renovation team we have ever worked with. We cannot recommend them highly enough, in all aspects of their business, from the quality of work to their responsiveness, flexibility, dedication, value for money and creative problem-solving. They worked on a basement renovation for us that involved a benching and a complete re-do of the space, including new insulation, new walls and the introduction of a shower, sink and toilet. This all was taking place during the craziness of Covid! Ken's work is exceptional - he really treats everything with the utmost care, precision, expertise and attention to the slightest detail. It feels like he's treating everything as if it were his own house. He took care of all the other trades, keeping them to the same high standards that he applies to his own work. He was also a pleasure to have around -unfailingly patient, good humoured and good company. Kelly is always very efficient, very responsive and also a pleasure to deal with. We did an extensive renovation of our early 20th century semi-detached house in Riverdale. We hired All Angles because of work they’d previously done for our next door neighbours. This allowed us a chance to see the work both at completion and several years after. The company is exceptionally professional and do excellent work. It would be an understatement to say we were pleased with the quality of workand level of communication. I would recommend All Angles without hesitation.

In six months, Ken and Kelly George of All Angles Renovations took our damp, musty, yucky unfinished basement and turned it into a beautiful, finished and functional space with polished concrete floors that includes a custom sound mixing studio, a three piece bathroom with a utility sink and walk in shower, a completely reorganized mechanical room, a sump pump, rebuilt stairs, a laundry area and a flex space that can be used as a guest room or for storage. Prior to deciding to finish our basement we had hired All Angles to do a number of smaller jobs around our house, a closet update, a bay window rebuild and some work on a skylight. The bay window rebuild, in particular, is evidence that Ken does exacting work that stands the test of time. Indeed, when we had our first energy audit on the house before the basement reno, the bay window and skylight proved to be the tightest, least leaky areas in the house. So – for us, deciding to go with All Angles for our big renovation was a no brainer. Our reno involved digging down to level the foundation, benching, insulating, pouring and then polishing a new concrete slab, redoing the electrical, plumbing and gas, insulating, framing and dry-walling the walls. As with all old houses there were some logistical design conundrums that Ken solved beautifully – these included, designing a new stairwell, configuring the layout of the laundry area and figuring out how to install the studio door in the very narrow opening available. Every step of the work that was done prior to and after the framing was meticulously done by Ken and by the trades he hired – all of whom were very professional and who cleaned up the site at the end of each work day. Before even starting the job, Ken made sure that our front porch and access to the basement were protected and he and Kelly communicated with us about each stage of the job. In summary – here are some very good reasons to choose All Angles if you’re doing a major renovation: •They do beautiful, exacting work. •They work with excellent tradespeople. •They keep you in the loop every step of the way and explain their reasons for doing things. •Everything will be done to code. •Although renovating can be an ordeal, working with a good contractor like Ken George it is a rewarding, creative process and a lot of fun. •Most importantly, if you are living in your house through the renovation, they respect your living space and work very hard to make you as comfortable as possible throughout the process. We were hired by All Angles Renovations Ltd to fabricate and install interior iron railings for their clients home. They were very organized, easy to deal with and communicated well and promptly so there process and installation went smoothly. We look forward to working with them again.

We had an excellent experience working with Ken and Kelly at All Angles Renovations this year on our home renovation. The project included: - completely gutting the second floor and then rebuilding with a new layout (requiring some electrical and plumbing to be moved) - preparing the kitchen/dining area for new cabinetry and appliances - refinishing the main floor hardwood floors - painting and other finishing work (new lights, window trim, tiling) From our initial contact, we were impressed with Ken and Kelly. We had already spoken to a few other renovation companies before getting in touch with AARL. We appreciated that they responded in a timely manner, set up meetings and came when they said they would come, provided a detailed quote (7 pages of small print) within a reasonable amount of time and were prepared to review it when they said they would. They started as promised and were able to finish ahead of schedule even with a few surprises and delays that came up. AARL and their employees, along with the subcontractors, all did great work and they were friendly and helpful. Our renovation was finished ahead of schedule and completed with excellent attention to detail. They understood what we wanted to achieve with our renovation and helped us to complete the project with those goals in mind. They worked well with the architect and the kitchen cabinetry company (whom we selected independently) and in some cases solved problems directly with them when our involvement wasn’t needed. We would not hesitate to contact them first for any future renovation plans of our own and have already recommended them to friends and neighbours who are considering their own renovation projects.

I almost felt like deliberately under-rating All Angles because I want them to be available for any other renovation work I might require, and not to be tied up with other work, but that would be selfish of me and totally unfair to Ken, Kelly and the truly wonderful team at All Angles Renovations. The five stars are so richly merited. If there was a 10 rating, I would give this company a 10. All Angles was the second firm I hired and in tracking them down, I did my homework and thoroughly investigated them before contracting them to do the work. The difference between the first contractor and All Angles was night and day. Wow. Having experienced the headaches associated with a horrible contractor, it was great to be able to benefit from an exceptional one. The work was performed to an extremely high standard, met the detailed cost estimate that I received, and the work was completed on time. It doesn't get better than that. The house was renovated from top to bottom. The work included digging out the basement to lower the floor, pouring a new concrete slab, re-doing the plumbing and wiring, re-insulating and adding fiber cement siding, building a new deck, building a new five-piece bath, building a TV room ,etc. Ken was very collaborative throughout the process and didn't mind the frequent changes in direction or additional requests from an owner who wasn't sure at the outset about the work he wanted done. The sub trades he uses -- from electricians to painters -- were also utterly professional, and equally at the top of their game. It was a pleasure having them in the house those many weeks. A word of caution -- if you're trying to do your project using shoddy materials or without getting the necessary permitting, you might want to engage some of the shady outfits out there and not use All Angles, because they do everything by the book, with all work completely up to code. As a homeowner, the attention to detail and the level of thoroughness from Ken and team provided huge piece of mind. A realtor friend popped by after the renovation and told me that while she realized the house could be improved, she never, ever envisioned it looking as good as it did. The results were stunning.
