Alex came to us though a friend's recommendation and he did not disappoint. We thought we knew what we wanted, but Alex very quickly suggested several modifications that improved the overall layout and functionality of our kitchen. He completed the project on budget and within the estimated timeframe. Condovate Interiors offers outstanding overall designs, procurement of all quality components and sub trades, an appliance contact, and overall project management in a very professional and friendly package.

We have worked with Alex of Condovate Interiors on four projects to date - each one quite different, all of them very successful. Alex’s strong attention to detail and knowledge of architectural/design details make it a seamless process each and every time. He has the ability to connect with the clients making them feel comfortable and part of the process. His trades are top notch and the projects move at quick rates with never a corner cut! As a design team, we feel so at ease knowing that we can trust Alex to execute the designs as they are intended and work through all of the technical and construction details as a team. We look forward to working on many more successful projects with Alex in the near future!

We engaged Alex to help us re-model our 1400 square foot condo. Overall, we were very impressed with Alex and would recommend working with him again. Alex provided us with an exceptional contemporary design for our unit. We challenged Alex to chart an exciting direction and he delivered. From a creative perspective, he is great to work with because he will defend his ideas while listening to our feedback and making adjustments as necessary. I'd say both parties were partners in the process and at each decision point we got to the best outcome by working together. Finding a professional who can assert their creative point of view while also listening and incorporating client feedback is rare and Alex strikes the right balance. Alex chose great materials to compliment his design and also provided us with interior design recommendations for furniture and appliances to complete the look. We are very thankful for his thinking here. We also enjoyed our time with him shopping for lighting, flooring and other materials. He has a keen design sense. Alex was also very organized and professional in keeping the project moving forward: he provided clear guidelines and checklists and it was easy to follow along. We overall were shooting for a completion within 4.5-5 months. This schedule was a bit behind. A few things were outside of anyone's control but there were a few finishing minor executional mishaps. To Alex's credit, he hung in with us and although it took longer than we wanted, achieved the result everyone was going for. Alex did not waver and was organized and reachable the entire time. This speaks a lot to his character and meant we could trust him. If you're looking for a contemporary renovation on your space, I would recommend Alex for sure. We would work with him again on our next project no doubt.

Alex did a beautiful job on our condo renovations. He was very efficient and organized and made sure we were satisfied with every detail. He was a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend him.

I interviewed 5 general contractors and architects for our big condo renovation and I knew from the first time I spoke to Alex that he was the right man for the job. I could see the passion, excitement and energy in his eyes and his mannerisms. There’s nothing like working with someone who loves what they do and revels in the challenge of a new project. None of the others I interviewed had what Alex has and that is because Alex is an architect by trade who just happens to also be a very good project manager. All the others were a combination of a general contractor and an architect. With Alex, you end up with is someone who can handle everything for you. A one stop shop. He as the only person I liaised with and I really needed that at this point in my life. A nice bonus was that he was such a pleasure to talk to and work with. It was a complete gut job, but there were 3 major changes to our condo. One was our kitchen, the other was our master bathroom, and the last was our ceilings. The kitchen and bathroom both were particularly challenging because they involved rearchitecting those spaces. We had several sessions where we spoke about the things that we’d like to accomplish and how we’d like to use those spaces. Alex was able to convert those conversations into pieces of art. And it wasn’t simple. Walls came down, piping needed to be moved around, and when the piping couldn’t be moved, Alex figured out a way to make it work and still look like a dream. We were also in a very fortunate position to be able to raise our ceilings that turned out to have asbestos in them. Alex found some contractors and got quotes from them and we chose one together. He handled all the communication and project management with them, I didn’t do anything other than choose the contractor (and pay ;)). Overall, I found the process to be very collaborative and Alex to be a very good listener. Alex goes for beauty first and he had some beautiful ideas that we didn’t end up doing because it wasn’t practical for us. (eg. he wanted to use marble in the kitchen, but we ended up using the more durable Quartz, which is equally beautiful). We are so happy with the finished product and overall, we really enjoyed the renovation experience. 
 Alex’s initial quote was more expensive and a longer duration than any of the other quotes I received. In my anecdotal experiences of my family and friends who have done major renovations, none of them were on budget or on time. Alex was both on budget and on time. In hindsight, his quote was the most realistic for what we were trying to accomplish. For all the above reasons, I can’t recommend Alex enough. He’s worth every penny and more.

Choosing Condovate Interiors Inc. was an easy decision. Alex Royt personally walked me through some of his projects nearing completion, and I immediately knew that I wanted to have his inspiration on my side. My experience working with Condovate felt truly exceptional. From start to finish, Alex embraced an ambitious project to reinvent my suite using innovative architectural concepts, precise engineering methods, on-point contemporary design, pro-active project management, and a diligent practical sense to heighten modern and luxury living. While the project ultimately exceeded my originally targeted budget and completion date, the extra spend was discretionary and well within the afforded contingencies of the plan – beautiful things are often valuable, and deserving of due attention. However, it was nice to have the options to flex my budget either way, to fit my style and priorities at every stage. And, with knowledgeable advice and recommendations at hand, it was easy to make the right decisions when they were needed, for an expectable outcome. The evolutionary process of working with Alex had everything that was needed to blossom the apartment into something more than a modern condo with a great view – I am the owner of a unique, boutique, living space; an oasis reflecting the charisma and aspirations kindling in the heart of Downtown Toronto. Personally, I enjoyed the opportunity to learn from and work with the maestro and his artisans! From understanding the creation of harmony in form and flow, through the blending of natural elements with more avant-garde materials and styling, to creating dramatic moods with colour palettes, textures and fabrics, light and shade, and even through the practical tasks of product selection, construction and fabrication, plumbing and electrics, having Alex’s expert guidance has certainly been a memorable “laser-guided” experience! The end result does speak for itself. However, Alex’s other traits that brought about a successful renovation project are also worth a mention. His personable disposition meant that cooperation from building management, security and neighbours, as well as his own teams, were heightened. Also, his confidence in his training and experience meant that he would listen as I challenged him with unconventional ideas, share his feedback and concerns, and then would either be able to find a way to make it work, or give me the honest, considered (and levelling) truth. It was the nature of his collaboration that allowed us to push the edge, methodically, without disrupting the balance of the space. I strongly recommend engaging with Alex, and Condovate Interiors Inc., to help you bring about the exquisite styling that we all need to enrich our lives. Alex and his team did a first class job on my reno. My condo was a complete gut and I was living out of the country so it was very important to have someone I could trust. He was professional, responded immediately to any questions or concerns, finished on time and on budget. The quality of the job was great and he often would offer suggestions that would help to the overall budget. I would highly recommend Alex and Condovate Interiors.

With rising costs of housing, we decided to stay and renovate hubby's bachelor pad 1bdrm + den to fit our family of 3. We chose Alex and his team for their experience working in condos and sense of style. We renovated the whole unit and it was done to my tastes. Bedroom was made smaller and given to son. Den was enlarged and removed glass doors. Kitchen cabinetry was changed to along one wall. I have to say a big thank you to Carlos and Hazael. Their attention to detail was superb. They were always very courteous especially to other residents too. Alex and his team went above and beyond helping me hanging up personal items (laundry racks, shelves, etc). The job went quickly and we were able to move in. The only issue I came across was there were many little items that had to be finished (loose lighting, squeaking hinges, etc). The company is busy and scheduling his team to come and finish took awhile. Would I hire Alex and his team again...YES!

Alex and team were highly professional and accommodating. There were some delays and complications but these were well managed and resulted in minimal impact to the project. I particularly liked Alex's design recommendations for colours, patterns, fixtures, etc.
