Robert and his team at Garza Contractors completed the construction of our new custom home on budget and on time. In addition, they were an absolute pleasure to work with. Our experience with Robert Garza was wonderful. He worked with my husband (a home builder) and me to build our dream home in East Ft. Lauderdale. Robert is very thorough, organized, level headed, budget conscience, and accessible. His employees were also very reliable and great with communication. Most of his subs did a very good job and were tidy in my home. He was able to solve problems if they occurred and had other sub contractors to fill in if necessary. Building my home entirely during Covid had it's own challenges but Garza Contractors along with the experience of my husband made it seem easy! By the end of the job, we all felt like family! Robert and his team are extremely detailed and efficient. It's important in construction that what is said is accomplished and Robert did everything he said. After a few mediocre architects and contractors interviewed for our project, Robert was the first with whom we felt totally comfortable working on our big remodel of our Fort Lauderdale house. Robert Garza was a pleasure to work with throughout the construction of our custom Key West-style home in South Florida. Aside from the quality of the materials/workmanship, the two most important factors in any construction project are communication and handling of problems that may arise. Robert was outstanding on both counts. He provided us with regular updates on the progress of permits, surveys and construction and was quick to remedy any issues that came up. Robert and his team renovated my 3/2 home in South Florida. I had interviewed 3 GC's before selecting Garza Contractors. What first impressed me was Robert's responsiveness and professionalism. Like most projects of this type, we hit some surprises. Robert dealt with them swiftly and fairly--always keeping an eye on the budget. His contractors are very good and also very friendly. It's impressive when you are on-site for the first time and the supervisor of the demolition team (whom you've never met) knows who you are and your name!

When our original contractor was unable to do our kitchen remodel, our cabintet maker put us in touch with Robert Garza. From the first meeting to the completion of the project. Robert was always responsive to our requests, questions, and concerns. He took great care to make sure we were happy with the work, every step of the way. Honesty, integrity and reliability. These are three of the most important things I look for when shopping for a contactor and this is what I found in Robert Garza. After leaving a voicemail for him the very first time I contacted him (on a weekend no less), he returned my call within 15 minutes. It was at that point that I knew Robert was someone who was serious about his work and who would follow through. Throughout the project, Robert was responsive, reliable and always accessible. Quality is also clearly a factor in any renovation or building product. Robert stands by his work. Anything that may not meet up to his or your standards (and his are pretty high) is remediated promptly. Robert’s accounting is thorough, clear and accurate. He will give you options based on cost and explains the advantages and disadvantages of each option. Timeliness is also something that Robert understands. He can often have someone come the same day a specific project is requested. For example, we needed a new shower glass door for guests arriving that evening. Robert had it done before their plane touched down. Robert is also a living Rolodex. He has contacts for anything. Ask him for an exterminator recommendation – done, a locksmith – done, a good Italian restaurant – done. Robert is also very personable. In addition to being the ultimate professional, helping create the dream home we envisioned, he and his wife have become friends. In summary, you cannot go wrong with choosing Robert Garza as your contractor, your project advisor or your friend. He will not disappoint.

Garza Construction recently finished building our outdoor bar and cabana. We actually hired Robert right off of Houzz. I really liked the information I saw on Houzz and submitted my plans to Robert. He called the next morning and we met later that afternoon. I was really impressed how much time Robert had spent reviewing and learning about our project. We met again the next morning with my wife and she got the same comfortable feeling I did. We hired Garza Contractors and off we went. We were really impressed with their attention to detail. Absolutely first class organization. Clear on what would happen step by step on our construction project and then delivered . Change is inevitable on construction projects. I have done my fair share of them over the years and there is usually always something that comes up unexpectedly. What I liked about working with Garza Contractors was their follow-up , attention to detail and ability to act and adjust to changes. No real surprises... just here are the options and which one would you like us to do. We remodeled a bathroom that had a very poor design and lot's of wasted space and created 2 full baths that are knockouts..We completed the project on time..on budget and with high level of quality..I would highly recommend them as true professionals who keep their commitments.

As an investor, I have had a number of experiences with general contractors. 80% of which have been disastrous and left me feeling taken advantage of. Obviously, as I was searching for a GC to remodel my office facade, I had major concerns regarding professionalism, down time, and the overall impact on my business. Out of the many GC's who bid on my job Robert Garza was the most impressive. His detailed bid along with his engaging and professional demeanor left me feeling confident that he was the man for the job. We hired Robert to remodel the master bathroom and closet in our new home and we knew we were in good hands right from the get go. He was always willing to work with my last minute design requests (of which there were many!), he was responsive, reliable and courteous - a pleasure to work with. Although he had several projects, of which mine was the smallest, he always knew what was going on, was immediately responsive to all questions and issues, and kept the project moving as quickly as possible. When I asked about a finishing process that he wasn't familiar with, he did the research and found me a sub. Robert was recommended to me and I used him for a small job, installation of a tankless water heater. The install went smoothly but, unfortunately for me, the water heater was defective and caused a small flood. Robert responded immediately and took total charge of the situation (flood remediation, replacement).
