We greatly enjoyed working with Steve on our den and screened in porch projects! The team was always very professional, including the subcontractors Steve hired. They always showed up on time and cleaned up before leaving each day. We also appreciated all of their insight when deciding which style of windows to order, trim to install, and other design ideas. Steve's team was fantastic and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! We definitely plan to use Steve's team for any future renovations on our home!

We have used Minchew & Co for multiple projects since 1999. They have done 3 bathrooms, basement, kitchen, home extension and screened in porch, front door replacement. Along with outside siding repairs. Basically our whole house. They are the only ones we call as we know the job will be done well and they are trustworthy. We have recommended them to others and they have been just as pleased.

Minchew and company have been working on our home for over 30 years. They have replaced siding, updated two bathrooms, replaced ceiling with board and batton, installed oak and Cherry mantles, replaced cooktop and hood vents, built trellis on porch and repaired deck, and have replaced over 22 windows and doors. They are great to work with and recommend them for all your construction needs.

Minchew & Company was a dream to work with through a very large renovation project I did last year. Here are a few key examples: 1. Budget was extremely accurate. Any overage charges were all items I either added or upgraded. The initial budget given to me by Steve was spot on. 2. They finished on time based on their estimate. 3. The quality of work is outstanding. It has been exactly one year since they finished a very large kitchen, master bath, and laundry room reno & everything is still in excellent condition. 4. They are very collaborative & with you every step of the way. I had never done anything like this before & I relied on them for their guidance & expertise. They didn’t let me down. I could go on & on about working with the Minchew & Company. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them or work with them again when the need arises!

One of the best and easiest companies I have worked with. They have done two bathroom remodels and 1 kitchen remodel. Their work is top quality and they have great ideas when something comes up that needs to be changed. They are quick and have never drawn out a job. I recommend them to all my friends!

Steve and his sons were recommended by a friend, but I read reviews online before actually contacting him. Now I will never use anyone else. My project included a major kitchen renovation, rescreening my porch, installing some hardwood flooring, refinishing existing hardwood flooring, and some electrical rewiring. This was the fifth major renovation project I have contracted since moving into this house nearly 40 years ago. By far, Steve, Craig, Michael, and Emily did the best job. The quality of work, the honesty, and the dependability of the whole team is enough to make them my go-to contractors from here on. Every project I have ever contracted has given me an estimate of the time needed; every project has gone weeks and even months past the projected time frame. Steve sent me a calendar before the work began with specific dates entered for each part of the job: demolition, flooring installation, cabinets installed, etc. Without exception, they kept to the schedule and the project was finished on the day they initially told me. I was flabbergasted. Communication between me and every member of the team was frequent and immediate--by phone, text or email. There is not one aspect of the whole experience with which I can find fault of any kind. In fact, it was a joy to work with Steve and his family--when was the last time I ever said that about a home improvement project? What a nice and competent family.

They replaced all of my windows, rebuilt the exterior fireplace flume and corrected some minor exterior repairs. Some of the minor exterior repairs included replacing a few roof tiles, damaged trim replacement and small sheet rock repair.

We hired Minchew & Company to remodel our master suite. We researched and had consultations with other design/build companies, but we really loved their portfolio, and upon meeting with Steve and Emily realized that they were the company we wanted to work with. The quality of their work is top notch, but what impressed us the most about working with them was their knowledge and obvious love of their work. They are also great people. Home renovations are such an invasive process, and communication is so crucial. Steve, Craig, Michael, Emily & Amy were all incredibly responsive, professional, and just great to work with. They also put up with our crazy dog constantly getting in the way and wanting their attention. We're so happy with the job on our master suite that we are already consulting with them for another project. They are fabulous.

Minchew and Company did an amazing job on the complete renovation of my master bath! All work was done with the utmost profesionalism and with care and consideration to my home and daily life. My questions or concerns were always greeted with patience and with a thorough explanation. This is the second time I have used Minchew and Company. The first being a large structural renovation twenty years ago where the back of my house was extended to add the master bath suite, a new kitchen and laundry area, home office, expanded family room, screened porch, and deck. Fantastic work then and now! I highly recommend this company!

Unlike many contractors, the Minchews were genuinely concerned about making sure I was 100% satisfied with their work and regularly communicated with me through the entire project. The job turned out better than I had envisioned because of their quality work but also their design suggestions, some of which actually lowered the cost of the job. The were also very flexible with my revisions mid job, none of which caused extra costs. Highly Recommended!

I would highly recommend Minchew and Company for any of your remodeling projects. They are very professional, always on time and their willingness to go above and beyond to answer your questions and to make you feel comfortable during the whole process is amazing. The little details they put into everything far exceeded my expectations. I recently had my basement remodeled, my husband and I wanted something unique downstairs and went with acid stain concrete floors that turned out better than I could have imagined. They were very upfront with us that there is a smell during this process and that we should stay out of the home while they were doing this. We also had them update our guest room into a nursery. We wanted a barn wood accent wall and I couldn't be happier with the outcome, looks like it should be in a magazine. Really enjoyed working with Craig and Michael and already looking into new projects.

The Minchews recently renovated our outdated kitchen and powder bathroom and did an amazing job. From the plans completed by Steve, the decorating tips provided by Emily and the craftsmanship provided by Michael and Craig our kitchen was transformed into a masterful, tranquil workspace. It is impossible for me to say enough good things about Minchew and Company. This was my first remodel, it was extensive, and Steve guided me through the entire process. Their professionalism is second to none. I moved off the property while the remodel was being done. I would often get comments from my neighbors, "oh my gosh, these guys are great. They are really at your house every day!" Steve's expertise was invaluable to me. He gave me so many suggestions for the design process, not just the construction aspect of the remodel. I turned to him for advice on multiple issues, and he helped me with such willingness, guidance, and patience. It truly matters to them that the customer is so happy with every aspect of the work. His sons are no different. The integrity of this family has left a forever impression with me and I have and will recommend them to everyone. They are transparent in every aspect of the process. Never any surprises. His sons have clearly studied under their father's exceptional skills and it shows. My trust in them is equal to that of their Dad. This is a family business and every person I dealt with possessed that same integrity. Efficiency and contractors don't always go hand-in-hand, but it does with the Minchew family. Steve went above and beyond in lending his expertise on issues with my condo that in actuality were not his responsibility, and he did so gladly. They were true partners and I consider the entire family friends forever. They transformed my outdated condo into a true work of art. Visitors are astounded when they see it. I miss seeing them every day.

Steve Minchew and his sons did an absolutely amazing job on our screened in porch. He listened to all of our concerns and came up with a vision neither my husband or I could have ever come up with ourselves. Their attention to detail and handling the design challenges present with the gutter system was brilliant. We've had numerous compliments from friends and family. I recommend Minchew and Company highly. We had a project that required over a week of time. I'm usually hesitant to have work done in my home when I am out of town, but on the recommendation of a neighbor who had used Minchew and Company before, I arranged for them to complete the job while we were away. When we returned, not only did I find a completed project beyond expectations, but I also found my home had been cared for just as I'd hoped. These gentlemen are amazing.

I had the pleasure of having Minchew and Company remodel my basement and built a brand new porch. They were excellent! Very professional, stayed in our time frame and budget, and just such a joy to have in my home. They made me and my family feel so comfortable and safe. Steve, Craig and Michael truly are amazing at what they do and all around great people. All of our friends and family love the way everything turned out! We couldn't be happier. Steve and his team did a great job with our remodel. We were in constant communication on construction, design and timing. Our project was on a tight timeline. Minchew created an online calendar to keep us on track with decisions, projects and scheduling. The remodel turned out great and we are very happy with our new home! The Minchew's remodeled my kitchen a few years back and did an absolutely fantastic job giving me exactly what I wanted. I would recommend their services to anyone! The Minchew boys went from being my contractors to something closer to family during the renovation, making the entire process incredibly comfortable and pleasant. Aside from the typical inconveniences accompanying home renovation, I have no complaints whatsoever. I WILL be using them again!

Steve, Michael, and Craig are so talented and were beyond amazing to work with. We loved that they have done such a wide variety of home styles and they helped us decided on the perfect style for us. Always willing to answer any and all questions we had and gave great details about everything. We had a time crunch to get it done and the whole renovation finished on time and on budget. Everyone that comes over loves our bathroom and we get tons of comments of it, we show it off to everyone! We plan to use them again for our kitchen renovation and we can’t wait!

I would, without a doubt, recommend Minchew and Company to anyone! I had been pricing out a kitchen and called the Minchew's and based on their bid decided to go with them. They are very honest, they gave me great ideas/designs to chose from, and they are exceptionally hard workers. I had an idea for the kitchen that another company said would be too complicated and too time consuming, but Minchew and Company made that dream into a reality! I will definitely be hiring them in the future! They are a great group to work with and are great at what they do.

We came to Minchew and company with no idea of what we wanted and they helped us step by step with everything! Our kitchen turned out better than we could have ever imagined. We also wanted an entertainment unit for our living room and couldn't find one we liked, so they custom made one for us! It’s perfect and has everything we wanted plus some great details they came up with. They went above and beyond for us and we couldn't be happier! We recommend them to everyone we know.

We were receiving quotes from multiple different contractors and once we got Minchew and Company’s we knew right away they were who we wanted! The bid was beautifully detailed and had everything laid out to where we couldn't miss a thing. Steve and his whole family were a joy to work with! I can't say enough about the Minchew Family and the service they provide. Honest, exceptional service. I have used them for years for home projects big (exterior and basement remodel) and small and would recommend them to anyone. You can't go wrong hiring them -- they give great advice and then follow through with great service.

Minchew and Company has helped us with many projects over the past few years. Front porch redesign, master bathroom remodel, and a ceiling beam system in our living room. Service was outstanding, leaving the house clean at the end of the day, answering my questions and going over options for our home. Will use again and recommend to our friends and family!

Minchew and Company remodeled our kitchen and added a portico to our home. The results were amazing. The entire house was transformed into a place we are so very proud to show to others. The Minchews were professional and timely with their work. Also the work was on budget. They are people who you are comfortable with in your home. We highly recommend them to anyone.

We have used Minchew & Co for two projects over the past 12 years, a screened porch addition in 1999 and an office renovation in 2011. We were extremely pleased with the results. Minchew is painstaking in its commitment to customer satisfaction, and goes above and beyond in addressing customer concerns. For example when converting our deck to a screened porch, we were worried that it might reduce to an unacceptable level the amount of sunlight into the adjoining living room. The solution was to simulate a roof by covering the deck at roof height with black plastic, with cutout openings to represent skylights. Once in place we took several days to observe the amount of sunlight reaching the living room and, satisfied, were able to move forward with confidence. They also constructed several sections of mock railings to help us envision how the finished product would look. Our office renovation is a testament Minchew's commitment to craftsmanship and attention to detail. They constructed a bookcase of our design and did an expert job replicating ceiling timbers out of pine. While there will always be hiccups and unexpected challenges in any project, when these occur, Minchew unfailingly accepts these situations as an opportunity for a creative solution. We have always felt they have our best interest in mind and this has established a foundation of trust and communication that is so necessary with such projects. We recommend Minchew & Co without reservations.

I highly recommend Minchew and Company! They have done numerous jobs for us in the past 15 years. Home addition, portico, screened porch full basement remodel and most recent a full kitchen remodel. Their workmanship is top notch and they make sure the new blends in with the old. Steve, Mike and Craig are wonderful trustworthy guys and easy to work with. Having worked with them for the past 15 years, I feel like they are part of the family. Contract is detailed with exactly what will be done. Unless there are unforeseen problems, there are no surprises. Payments are made incrementally at the end of each stage of job. They will be back soon to do my master bath!

Steve Minchew does an excellent job of making the customer happy! We have only used the Minchews for one project so far but plan to hire them for all of our home improvement needs. We had a master bathroom without a vent fan for 20 years and another bathroom vent fan that wasn't doing the job. They put in a vent fan that is powerful and efficient in both baths, dealing with the ducts in the attic and roof. They scheduled the visit and were timely and charged exactly what was in the estimate. You know that there are not going to be any surprises and that the work will be well done. When we called to question the origin of a stain on the ceiling they immediately let us know that whatever the problem they would take care of it. It turned out that it had nothing to do with their work. We have talked with two other families who are thrilled with the work that was done by Minchew and Company.
